Hi,I remember seeing a post a while back (have searched but cant find it) where you can have FS2004 load with the actual time on your pc, does anybody know what you have to edit in the fs9.cfg to make this happen?Also I keep getting the tips 'your engines are not started, your altimeter is not set correctly...etc' (now I assuming I dont want my engines started and I know that my Alt is not set correctly!) how do I turn these off - I have turned off tooptips in general settings but they still come!Last I have an 8800GT using Windows Vista 64bit and when I set AA to on if I access the menu sometimes it goes black and the way to get it back is to ALT-ENTER into windowed mode…

I find it very easy to sometimes overlook items that are available, and probably have been for some time.On the simMarket site I just stumbled across the "Friendly Panels - FMC Pack 1 V1.5".This is a generic FMC that seems to function pretty well like most of those that are included in third party aircraft which included one.If you are a European, it is pretty inexpensive as well. Unfortunately, like everything else, it cost about twice as much for we Yanks, but that is not the fault of simMarket or the developers. Hey guys and gals,So I've been running FS9 for a number of years now, with tons of various addons without too much hassle. However, about six or seven months ago, I began getting crash-to-desktop issues when I was flying in or out of KLAX (and sometimes KSAN). I was using default scenery and installed--and use--Ultmiate traffic a number of years ago without issue. I also used VATSIM in conjunction with LAX for many months without any problems either. The C-T-D message mentioned some sort of corruption in a .dll file, but not sure exactly what it is. I thought it might have been an issue with ActiveSky, which I had recently updated to 6.0 or an issue with too much AI traff…

Well i have decided to start using SID/STARS for my flights using pmdg and level d and other products. But i was wondering i often use simroutes but they dont have all the routes i fly and i was wondering if i planned my flight with simroutes or default planner how i can use a sid and star. Also if this is possible with just the default planner or simroutes will radar contact clear me for the sid/star?Sory i was just wondering if this is possible without a payware flight planner as I cant afford it just yet.Thanks for the hel[Richy

I am editing my local airfield in FS9 using AFCAD, adding taxiways, aprons, buildings etc and I would like to be able to remove specific areas of Autogen from the simulation as I don't want tree's all over my taxiways! Is there a way I can do this (preferably free) and if so how can I do it?Thanks

Hi i am looking to completely remove AI traffic in fs9. I have deleted the traffic030528.bgl file from scenery->world->scenery but when i go in to fs2004 again the silly AI traffic still appears.. what do i do so i can install other AI i have.

Not just any old lap of the world. This one was with the venerable FS9 combo of SSTSIM Concorde, FSPax, FSNav, ActiveSky 6.5 and a visit to every country sporting a 6500ft or longer runway, about 210 all up! Hi.I asked this some time ago in the F1 Forums, but never did get a reply.So I am hoping that some kind soul here would be good enough to help me out please.I'm pretty sure that there is a way of gatting the super80 to follow a FS Nav flight plan route, but I just can't seem to get it to do this.I can in the CS B707 / 727 etc, but not this bird.I realise that I can input the route via the on-board INS type nav, but would find the FS Nav one much easier.Could anyone please advise on this.Many thanks.PS I take it that there is no way of making the heading selector work using the default ap key assignments either.Thanks again.

I know people hate this product, and I'm not trying to elicit more Wilco/Feelthere bashing...I was trying out a friend's A340, and he said he's patched it up with all the official patches (1d, I think) but never got it to work. So I gave it a run...OK. Strange autopilot behaviour to be sure, but almost salvagable. It was the FLEX thrust ratings that really messed things up. Just a quick question - it is possible to change the details that show up at various levels of scenery complexity?For example I have been playing around with imagine sims Newark, which I understand is very punishing on framerates to get a decent FPS level. I have now got it to an acceptable rate but now have no jetways.Is it possible to change the scenery so that the jetways show up at normal scenery complexity?Thanks in advance for any help!

I like to replay the takeoff and landing phases of my flight sometimes, but there is never any AI traffic visible when I do even though my airports are bustling with hundreds of planes during the actual flight. Is there a setting that can alter this or is that just a built in limitation of FS9?NC

When I shutdown the engine, why do I still hear a jet whine as though the engine were still running even thought its off? It is not from the AI traffic planes, though.

If you had to choose one aircraft in FS to fly, what would it be? Ok, I know we could have as many as our systems permit, but if you had to pick one, which one would be the aircraft you absolutely love and enjoy flying over and over? It's hard, I know, but I think I would choose dreamfleet's 727. Gotta go with a classic aircraft that is fully simulated.

Hi All!Have recently purchased and installed 4 of the Central America airport sceneries from VirtualCol ((MPTO, MNMG, MGGT and MSLP) but none of them appear to have installed correctly and there is no help available from VirtualCol at all. Basically none of the airport buildings have been added and the ground textures are inappropriate with grass in places where runways and ramps should be! I have vast amounts of scenery addons on my fs9 and am quite familiar with installing them but these have left me puzzled! I cannot even find where the folders have installed to on fs9! Has anyone had similar problems? Any ideas how to make them work?ThanksBill Sheridan

I had just recently reinstalled FS2004 on a new PC machine, and quickly realized why I disliked flying with it. During a flight from LGA to BOS I must've been handed off 20-30 times. I don't believe Microsoft had ever fixed the issue, so my question is, are there any 3rd party add-ons (free or commercial) that address this issue? Maybe real ATC?My second question is regarding dynamic scenery. I remember when I first purchased FS2004 I also purchased a commercial add-on which created dense dynamic scenery (airplanes) which flew according to their real-life schedules. I cannot recall the name of this add-on.Whatever help would be greatly appreciated guys!Cheers-G

Hi all,I'm having trouble with the Wilco CRJ and my GoFlight TQ6 throttle. It worked fine when I flew the CRJ900, then I flew the CRJ200 and it worked fine, then I went back to the CRJ900 and the throttles no longer moved on screen. What happens is that I apply thrust and the thrust indicator spools up, but then imeaditely decreases back to idle. It is strange behavior. It wont thottle up anymore.I checked the Wilco site forum, but there was very little about this. I also checked the goflight forum but there is nothing there. So I thought i would try here?There is some info out there that thw Wilco CRJ does not support the GoFlight hardware, but is there a patch or config…

My local airfield recently replaced their old grass runway with a tarmac one. Is there any way that I can apply this change in FS9?
