I a just got the wilco a380. i went to got into the sky and tried to turn on the auto pilot. The plane did not follow the nav. I wanted to know how to do the automatic flight. like the default 2004 aircraft where you press nav hold. I did insert a flight plane into the Flight managment computer but it still didnt follow the flight plan. I wanted to know how to turn on the nav holdThanks =)

Has anybody experienced this problem with ScanAFD? The program loads and brings up all the AFCADS in the default directory. But when I try to scan (including Addon Scenery files) the program locks up with a flashing hourglass symbol. When I try to do anything with it, I get the error "Program not responding". I tried contacting Eliot at the email address he supplied in his readme file, but it came back as an invalid address. It's a shame as I find this to be one of my most used Utilities. Hello,in munich AI planes who shouls take off from the southern runway disappear shortly before pushback. AI planes that should take off from the northern runway have not this problem. I already checked the AFCAD with AFCAD and AFX but they could not find any problems. All taxiways are connected and hold Short knotes are created.What is the problem?Many thanks for help!

Hi all,I've a question for you AI makers out there. Have you seen the planes acting strangely on landing? Mine do.What I did was to use GATraffic to create an traffic file which includes business jets in addition to all my prop planes. Prior to this I had a separate business jet file and I really didn't notice this occurring, but it could have been there all along. Anyway, my business jets act like they are buzzed or something on final approach, weaving back and forth before dropping to the ground at a rate that surely does severe damage to the struts, tires and probably the airframe. My latest adventure took me to Martha's Vineyard and Nantuckett. What to do next I thought. I've done the around the World thing. I even circumnavigated the Continental US and hit most of the Major Airports in my Trek. AHA! I'll hit every State Capital . I try to get all the airport sceneries for the Airports I'll be flying too. But this is proving to be a challange. After Boston, I had no problem finding Providence RI Hartford Conn. and Albany NY. (For David Marshall)As things stand now David, I went home (I don't have an internet connection and use my work pc), and did all of the steps you pointed out.The Electric failure option still turns on and...here's what I discovered about it:In the Default Flight, when I turn off all the switches (battery, avionics, and starter key) - everything off, the Electrical failure option checkbox automatically turns on.When I turn on the a/c's key to both mags, the option turns off - back and forth - it's consistent. Hey folks...Don't know what I changed, but my landing/taxi lights are so dim I can't see anything from the cockpit. When I switch to spotview, I see the regular bright landing/taxi lights.....they're just EXTREMELY dim inside the cockpit (Both 2D and 3D)Have tried all aircraft...it is common among them all.Anyone have any suggestions?

I haven't flown fs2004 for awhile, and I'm not sure where I picked up this problem:When in altitude hold mode on the AP, my plane bounces up and down and won't hold altitude. The vs goes from -700 to +700. It just constantly overcorrects. It doesn't seem like the regular turbulence or vertical winds from ActiveSky. I know there are some things I can edit, but I wanted to see the best way to fix this.

FS9 assigns the current calendar date and time only to the standard flight. I wonder what I would have to adjust (in the FLT-file?), that the current calendar date is assigned to any of the flights I saved myself every time I open them again.Can anybody give advice?BestGlocke

Hi allI need some help, usually when I have this problem it is with AFCAD's that are acompanying scenery however I have downloaded an AFCAD for the default FS scenery however the runway and taxiways are not all showing (not flat). None of the runway and some of the taxiway is missing. The AFCAD is placed in Addon scenery/scenery folder? Is there anywhere else that I can place this to get the runway and taxiway to show up. As I said this is for the default FS scenery so I dont have an extra scenery folder for the airport?Not come across this before so hense the question.Thanks alot.

Trying to isolate a recent issue. I am waiting for my forum account to be approved over at A2A, has anybody had any issues with FPS decreasing about -10 at all airports? I installed this great product and seem to be now runing anywhere for 8-14 fps when i ran 24fps on avg. I cant seem to find any post about fps and 3d lights. The only other change was the latest nvidia drivers, i then went back to the previous driver. The strange thing is that I can be sitting at KLGA at night with 100% AI, and run 8-14 fps and then sit at LIMC (2am) and still only hit 8-14fps with a very quiet airport. That makes me think its not 3d lights.PaxBrad

Brand new at this = I've installed a lot of WoAI airlines & can someone tell me what new airport files I need for it to work? I've been told I need new afcads (airport files?) & from here but what exactly do I get? Also, 2) do I replace all airport files? I was hoping to replace just the airports I fly to!! After Selecting a Flight, or changing an aircraft on the ground, the Electrical checkbox in Failures/System dialog defaults to On.When I unselect it/hit Ok and then come back to the same selection, it is back on. This repeats over and over.I change stored flights, change aircraft, but still have the same problem. I first started noticing it while flying the Aeroworx B200, but the problem continues over to other flights/aircraft.I have spent hours trying to debug this with no luck. Is this a setting in the .ini or .cfg file that I can change?I'd sure love some help as it is really messing up my pastime of flying.Rory TateCanadian, OK

Has anyone else bought this aircraft?If so is are your engines also nearly touching the ground due to a posible incorrect aircraft file.Mine are, and still waiting for an answer from AFS, maybe not answered possibly due to the holiday season.

I'd very much like to try my hand at flying some of the Russian aircraft available for FS. I'd also like to get some appropriate airports to fly to/from. I'm aware of the list of sceneries at http://walhalla.mine.nu/fs2004.php but many of the Russian airports link to Avsim.ru and the file descriptions are in Russian so I don't know which are the best ones to get. Can anyone recommend some good sceneries for major/interesting Russian airports (and neighbouring countries)?Thanks.

Hi.Before I start, this is Not meant to be a captain sim "Bashing" post, just a request for some help if I may.I have the 727, and must admit I quite like it, the cockpit is very similar to their 707 which helps somewhat.But my problems are with the auto pilot, and thrust.Did the 727 really have so much power that you could end up at 350 kts practically just after take off, but I must admit that I was flying with 0 passengers and about 50% fuel, even though I did not expect it to be that powerful.The second question is regarding the ILS of the aircraft, has anyone else managed to tame it somewhat. I find that it can tend to "Hunt" for the ILS with the aircraft pitching up…

Hello all,I have just acquired a problem...In VC mode when i pan it is all jerky...It has nothing to do with the pan rate as I have a very good system.I have an 8800GT card with up to date drivers.If I reamain still in VC mode all is ok as soon as i pan...jerkiness...I get the same for Track IR 4...I can pan til my hearts content in outside views...Anyone know whats going on here...???Dave
