obviously i cannot reinstall, but does anyone know why the 757 from pss does not auto tune the ils frequency? i have loaded a default flight then the 757 with no luck.-Alex

Recently, when I try to enter a destination airport using the GPS "Direct To" function in most of my airplanes, FS9.1 immediately crashes.The following planes all crash when using the "Direct To" function:All default FS9 planes,All of my Eaglesoft planes.My Aeroworx B200.All of my Carenado planes.My Flight1C-172, and AOPA 112 and Cherokee Six.The only ones that work perfectly are my Dream Fleet A36 and Archer. The only other third party software that I use is Active Sky version 6.5. However, the crasher occur with or without Active Sky running.I'm running the sim on an iMAC under Boot Camp. Hi, One day the FS9 was working fine,the next time i get an error referring to the weather.dll.The first time it appeared i had just taken off,then whenever i try to load a flight at 77% it crashes with a weather.dll error. What could be a possible reason for the error appearing? How would i fix it? I have tried to replace the weather.dll with the one off the disk but the sim still crashes and i have made sure the render to texture button is ticked. Please if anyone knows a solution that does not include re-installation of FS9,because i simply do not have the time to re-install. I will be in FS9 for between a minute and sometimes 30 minutes and all of a sudden, I will see a slight flash go across my monitor and then textures will all jumble around as if in an acid trip. Airplane textures will appear on the terminals, building textures will become clouds, and random textures (flashing every second or so) will just spill onto each space in the FS9 scenery except where they need to be. It is bizarre! This did not happen until I added an upgrade bride card to my ASRock SATA2 board to add the Athlon X2 6400. i Didnt know where to post this, but here it goes. I've just received my new CH yoke and CH Pro Pedals, and im just wondering some of the buttons on the yoke are configured to something that i dont want, is there any way that i can reconfigure them? and when im on the approach i have to literally pull a lot the yoke so my plane would flare - is that a problem? or is it just the way it is?

Hi, all,I've just added 1 Gb of RAM to my computer. Of course, doing so has caused some of my payware add-ons that are tied to a hardware fingerprint to cease functioning until I can get new keys [insert rant about these "anti-piracy" schemes only penalizing honest people]. Anyway, one such key is for the Suprunov Design Yak-40. SD's website, however, has been down for the last couple of days. There appears to be no way to get a new key.Does anyone know what's happening with SD?

Lately when I'm starting a flight and I'm using Radar Contact 4 for my ATC, when the screen first comes up there is no text, (CLR, Ground etc) on the screen. It is completely blank. I can key a "1", "2","3" or a "0" then the text comes on the screen. It's no big deal to key one of the above numbers to get the text to appear, BUT something is WRONG for me to have to do this. Anyone with any Ideas ? This my just be coinsidental, but also when changing from the "cotpit view" to the "spot" view of my Level-D 767-300ER, for about 1/2 to 1 second there is NO texture on the aircraft......pure WHITE, then the texture pops in???? Been working hard on improving my FS9 experience since the weather here in Florida is keeping me grounded. Here are some questions I have gathered over the past few days.1. At what range does FS9 allow the VOR/EHSI and DME to pick up a VOR station? I have been getting a lot of fluctuation on this one, ranging from just 35 nm all the way up to 72 nm. 2. Same for the ADF. Last night I didn't pick up the Gainesville NDB until 30 nm out. Today, I grabbed it at 49 nm. 3. Does the default AI traffic communicate in Class E airspace, such as when landing at a non-towered airport? I have not heard anything from AI traffic outside of B,C, and D. I have been having some issues with CTD both with and without FS9 error messages. I believe that they are AI related but I am stumped on how to fix it. I have narrowed down my issues to one particular AI file for Delta Airlines regional carriers but I cannot figure out what could be causing the issue. What's weird is that when I make the AI visible in my aircraft selection list, I sometimes have problems viewing the AI. I thought that if it really was a texture problem, the sim would CTD every time. In my case, I will select an AI that worked the last time I had the sim up and this time it wiil cause a CTD. Recently I downloaded a new panel for the default Lear, and like an idiot I missed the part in the instructions where it said that the CFG file would be "tweaked" (supposedly more realistic flight dynamics) as well. I backed up the panel file like always, but did not back up the CFG file before installing.In a word, the flight dynamics are now CRAP. Would anyone explain how I can recover the original CFG file without reinstalling the whole program, or maybe email me the original CFG file?Dennis [email protected]

World of AI: do you guys download all packages or only for a specific part of the world ie. the one you are most most flying?2. I'm a little confused on how to adjust the offset for UTC. I thought the time zones were correct in FS RT but I guess not. Setting myself up at Rome (LIRF) I see the offset is UTC +1 when it should be +2 for this time of year. The offset for California is correct at -7 without any adjustments. How do I set the offset at Rome to be correct and should I be messing with it? I guess there's too many time zones to be totally correct and the 'autoupdate' doesn't always pick up on it. Thanks

Hello AllLast night i flew from MDPC Dominican republic (PUNTA CANA)to KMIA.Now being that the Dominican Republic is in the Caribbean as i taxied out and took off i expected to see palm tree type trees,grass skirt type trees etc but was surprised to see that the conifer has taken root in the Caribbean(more like ESSA).I was wondering if i have done something to my autogen and if so is there a good roughly geographically correct set (or even the original autogen)that i can replace my current autogen trees with?Perhaps somebody could kindly set up a flight from MDPC and let me know what they see as the variety of autogen trees.Whilst this is not a big deal sort of problem(i …
