I am using some a/c I haven't used in awhile, and have forgotten how to program my CH Throttle Panel, using FSUIPC, to get it to provide full power. I get 100% N1 & N2 but the a/c barely moves. I know this has something to do with how Feelthere tricked FS to have 4 engines for the 700 & 900. I think I have tried all combinations in FSUIPC.Can this be accomplished with FSUIPC, or does it have to be controlled inside FS9?Thanks!Rick

Hi all,Probably I have not searched enough but I wondered if there are any problems in having/installing both FS9 and FSX on the same harddisk.Fyi, I have Windows Vista Home Premium, a Pentium D 915 Dual Core 2,8 Ghz, Geforce 7300SE graphics card and 2Gb RAM mem, therefore nothing special and I am not sure whether FSX is going to run on it (as it didn't with my earlier attempts, so I ordered a new copy) because I do not want to loose contact with everything that is new in FSX in spite of the unfavorable comments I read on FSX (FS2000 was not up to FS98 either, but FS2002 could compete with FS2004 and FS2004 for me is still the standard). Morning all.Fresh FS2004 install, and despite adding the 'old modules' bit into FS9.cfg, upon loading, FS is still moaning that I have fssound.dll and that it will be disabled.As always, any help appreciated. I should mention that my new FS2004 install is on Vista 64 Ultimate.Regards,Al.

I must be fairly sad because i have spent a whole day off ill :-( looking for a decent GPWS and altitude call-out gauge for FS2004, more specifically, for the Overland/Simmer's Sky MD-11. There are actually very, very few of these gauges around (or at least with Google, Avsim, Flightsim and Simviation searches) as i have found out. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix this. Landing lights gfive this horrible rectangular sharp-edged box on the ground.I remember some time in the past it wasn't like this (a long while back) and it's probably a driver issue.My graphics card is ; HIS Radeon HD 2600 XT AGP card with 512 megs RAMdriver is the Omega drivers 3.8.442If this is a driver problem, I'd like to try rolling back to a version that doesn't do this. Not knowing this cost me 5 hours of frustration and searching:I had been using GE Pro vr 2.06 for a number of years. Then they came out with update vr 2.11 and I downloaded and installed it. My frame rates went down to 4-6 and I Uninstalled the 2.11 update and continued using vr 2.06 for a couple of years. The other day I noticed that there was a NEW update GE Pro II vr 2.13 and I tried to install it but got a nasy message and it would not install. After messing with it for hours, I accidentally found, in the guts of the program (GE Pro), a message that you must install vr 2.11 BEFORE installing vr 2.13. I did this and had no futher problem. Why didn't they tell me this…

I was checking out some FS videos on Utube, and found several that included some realistic Cabin Announcements including preflight Flight Attendant safety announcements and pilot announcements. Just like the real thing. One showed a small panel popup that you could select just the announcement you wanted. It was in a video of the LD 767 whic I have and I know does not include this addon. Does anyone know what the name of this program is? Thanks. Tom

Hi guys,I recently bought the Flight1 ATR and I'm having some trouble with the radio stack. I can set a new standby frequency, but when I push the XFR/MEM button up in order to make the standby active, I just see ACT next to the current active frequency.I've read the relevant section of the manual twice and can't see what I'm doing wrong. I've posted my question on the Flight1 forums, but they seem quite quiet at the moment. Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

Where can I download Ai Smooth V2 beta?

Hello,is there a trick or something like this that AI Seperation also recognizes my plane and not only AI Planes? Perhaps a change in the Aircarft.cfg or something like this would solve the Problem?!Any ideas?

Having had this since it came out, and not having used it in awhile, I can't remember if this was ever possible. I couldn't find any answers on the old Feelthere forum either.I'm not talking about SID's/STAR's, but approaches. Were you ever able to select on the FMS an approach to a runway (whether it was an ILS, VOR, RNAV, like the default GPS), and have the path show up on the MFD? I have an updated AIRAC from Navigraph, and have SID's/Star's, transitions, and show runways, but no approaches. If this IS possible, then I might have screwed up my data.Thanks!Rick

Dear fellow simmers,I have a strange problem with my ATC and pilot voices when using complex aircraft. Sometimes the voices are there, sometimes I can hear only the background chatter, sometimes no voice at all. The text messages are OK, and witch all standard or not too complex aircraft everything is OK. It happens with the CLS 747, the RFP 747 and the PMDG 737, but not with the LevelD 767.I already set up a clean FS parallel installation for trial and did a Windows repair installation with no success.Here is what I observed:1. Hi,Would be grateful for anyhelp on this - my fs2004 sky looks weird in that the colours are not blended together. Each is separate with the result that the sky looks contoured with diffent colours, each distinct from one another.Im not sure whether this is a graphic card setting which needs to be changed or a setting within FS2004?Any help gratefully recieved!! I can't seem to figure out what causes this, but it's annoying.It doesn't happen terribly often, but it happens often enough for me to post about it. Sometimes, I get an extreme blurring of all ground and building textures. The aircraft textures (mine and AI) remain fine.It seems to be related to changing the view from in-cockpit to spot plane to tower and so forth. But it only does it on occasion.I've had it occur just after the sim has been started after a fresh reboot of the computer (full system resources available) and I've had it only occur in the last stages of a 3 hour flight. I've had it occur during night time and day, I've had it occur during takeoff, cruise,…

I am considering purchasing a G1000 for FS9. There seems to be two products available, the Mindstar and the CLS systems. I would like recommendations of the strenghts and weaknesses of the two systems. Also, how difficult is it to install either system to another aircraft? I noticed that the Mindstar unit comes ready for the default C172 or C182 and it appears it does not support migration to other aicraft.ThanksTom
