Hi Guys.I am after some help with my PFE.I had to reinstall windows and FS9 and all its add ons.I have reintalled PFE, but when I try to install the voice pack extension I get a message saying that I need to get the version 2.0 of PFE.I am just wondering where do I get the update from.When I bought PFE I got it through www.simmarket.comThanks,Aldrei Zanette

I just bought the above "map" and it gives some good info. I exspecially like it when it gives you the time at departure and the time at the destination. (check the timezone differances, if any). It gives the info in METRIC and then in ENGLISH. Anyone know of a way to make it JUST give the info in ENGLISH and NOT display it also in METRIC? Thanks jerrycwo4

Could anyone help me in getting this potentially great little payware addon to fly? Despite going through all the apparently correct start-up procedures, etc, both engines simply cut out after increasing to take-off power for a few seconds. The support page on the VirtualCol site is a joke (ie. non-existent) which is a shame as the VirtualCol addons, certainly the scenery addons, are usually good quality and I think the Fokker 50 probably is too, but incredibly frustrating after weeks of attempting to get it to fly!Bill Sheridan

My Commercial Level A340-300 creeps really fast when at idle. I take my foot off the brake and it starts off briskly down the tarmac and I have to keep hitting the brake. Is there some control in the aircraft.cfg that I can adjust to slow this down? Otherwise, it handles great.

On a 250 mile flight yesterday I mistyped the 1st VOR waypoint and didn't discover it until about 15 minutes into the flight. The 1st waypoint was 2800 miles away! I went back into the section that I made the flight in and deleted the BAD 1st VOR waypoint. RC4 still had me heading for this 1st bad way point. I stopped RC4 and restarted it but as you probaly know I was already 15 minutes into the flight and then on the restart RC4 had me taxiing to the active runway and then holding....... I could not get past this holding on the runway part in RC4, yet in the RC4 info window on my panel it still had me heading for the 1st BAD waypoint and the active runway which by now…

Having had very few OOM's, I never pursued installing this, but after installing FSDT's KJFK, and using PSS's 757, my first flight into JFK resulted in an OOM on approach. Since I'm using Auto Save, I was able to restart to the last save and complete the flight, even with RC4 and FSACARS. BUt it got me to look into and install the 3GB switch. I have followed the threads all along, so I knew where to go for the install info. I'm no IT person, but do know my wat around a pc. Here is what I'm seeing.With no patch, I will see the HD activity light flash on occasion as scenery loads, with maybe, maybe a micro-stutter at times.With the switch/patch installed, I see very long te…

I fly multi-monitors in windowed mode and I just figured out that I can minimize the FS9 windows after reaching cruising altitude and my CPU temps go down at least 10c. Is there any harm in doing this -- flying in minimized mode for, say, 4 or 5 hours and then coming back, maximizing the window again to continue on or land? Could this practice cause or aggrivate the OOM issue that I've been having lately in any way?

So this is new. Last I used the sim was 2 weeks ago and it was working fine. This computer hasn't even been turned on since then. Now, when trying to load any flight it gets to 77%, says it's "Loading Weather" and then crashes to desktop. Error message asking me if I want to send an error report, asking me if I want to restart FS9.If I switch the FS9 weather to Clear then FS9 loads just fine. However when I load AS6.5 to get real world weather, FS9 with CTD when the online weather update is complete. So either way, when FS9 weather tries to load or when AS6.5 weather tries to load, I get a crash to desktop.I have changed nothing on this computer, changed nothing wit…

Hi,I was wondering if there was anyway to set FS9 to where the nights are quite so black. I know night should be black, but in previous versions you could still see outlines of coasts, sceneries, etc and it was more like a dark grey. In FS9 you can see no ground scenery til you're very near the ground and can see no outlines of anything while flying.

I download flightplans for a AI private 767. The flightplans did not come with a aircraft.txt file. I would like the know what to put for the speed of the aircraft? Below is the line I made for the plane.AC#24,???,"AI Aardvark Boeing 767-300.......The flightplans do not have the @ symbol in them so Im not sure if 200 would work/be right.

Hello,Does anyone know if a modification exists of the default FS 2004 Cessna 172 ADI, that adds pitch degrees numbers next to the pitch degrees lines, as you can find in certain other aircraft?Preferably in increments of 5 degrees.Thank you,Bart

Have anyone tried this software that was posted on Simmarket a week ago. It suppose to overcome the default ATIS range from 60mi to about 350mi. That you can plan your approach procudure well in advance knowing what runways are in use.Bill M

Does anybody fly this bird?Im getting high EGT temps on takeoff roll, and the FADEC system kicks in reducing the engine RPM.Ive set everything in the TMS yet im still getting this coming up.Ive gone thru the manual for the last day and am getting frustrated.Any suggestions?Thanks, Pan Pan Pan

Hi Folks!For some strange reason I cannot adjust all the radios on the panel. The transponder and ADF work but NAV1,2, COM1,2 do not. I even tried copying the radio section of the aircraft config from another plane and they still do not work. I must be missing something. I like the POSKY aircraft and I would post this on the POSKY website, but they might consider it a dumb question!!Thanks!Airbus
