Hi everybody,I am a bit surprised that no one has tried their hands at a good, payware CRJ. I am fully aware of Wilco/Feelthere's CRJ, and I don't want to turn this into a "bash wilco" thread, but I think we can all agree that it could use some significant updates. With the amount of airlines operating CRJs, I think it's long overdue that someone comes out with one.Has anyone heard of anything in the making? Or is adding a high-quality CRJ to my FS delusional?Zach

the blue stick on my Saitek control panel yoke is set to flaps axis under options controls axis, but the flaps never retract fully. Dear Gentlemen,I've simmed for about 5 years now, and I have NEVER downloaded outside liveries before. I got the PMDG747, and have now downloaded fantastic liveries from AVSIM.The thing is, can someone tell me where I am supposed to put the files? Hy guys.I am just wondering is there a way to put ships and boats in FS2004.What I mean is the lakes and seas are too empty and I would like to see some ships in the ocean and lakes as in FSX.Thanks,AZ

I have noticed that POSKY (737-700) and CLS are able to display a push-back tug during push-back. Does anyone know how to program the same "effect" in other 3rd party aircraft? Any thoughts appreciated.Thanks in advance....Dave

I've not been simming for awhile now, and am starting up again. I went to look for the latest in FS Navigator because I loved using it in FS2002. I see it is no longer available.I have an old version 3.0, and that's all. I've forgotten how to set it up in FS2002, and I see now that AVSIM doesn't even have a fourm for FS2002??But, I now want to set up this version to be used in FS9. Can this be done? If so, can anyone show me how, or threads that might explain how? I've searched, but found none.Thanks!!Lobo :)

Hi.I have an add-on from Alphasim, the Handley Page Victor Tanker K2 that tends to shake and I wondered if anyone knew what could be causing this, and if it is fixable.For instance. I take off and retract the gear etc, then start the climb to FL150, but during this climb and at 250kts the aircraft starts to shake.The only way to stop it is by reducing the speed to 200kts.Anyone have any thoughts.Thanks.

Hello,I would like to have the typical Airbus roaring Sound in my aircraft. I downloaded an airbus soundpack, including this specific file, copied the file I would like to add into my planes sound folder and also copied the Sound.cfg line belonging to this sound into my planes sound.cfg but the sound is not hearable. What do I make wrong?Thanks for any help

I was wondering if there have been reports of problems with SP3 and FS9 recently and just SP3 alone. I am at the point were if seems like I won't get anymore XP updates if I don't run the XP SP3. Has anyone recieved updates by ignoring SP3 lately? Any info would be great. Thank You,Kurt.

Anyone know of someone who could do a repaint for the Overland B747-400? I'm looking for the Pan Am 'billboard' livery. I've contacted one author directly who does repaints but they are too busy to commit to. Willing to pay $ for a custom job. Thanks

Hello fellow simmers,As far as add-on airports are concerned I don't like .exe files, I prefer knowing where the files are going. You may have noticed, some freeware sceneries (airports) come with a seperate AFCAD file which you have to place in the Addon Scenery/scenery folder (according to it's installation instructions). Mostly though, the AFCAD (AF2.bgl) file is already placed in the scenery folder of the add-on. What is the difference?My second question is, would it be possible to place directly the AF2 file in the scenery folder of the add-on airport itself instead of the Addon Scenery/scenery folder?Thanks in advance

Tried 3 hours to get it to install correcty. Kept getting error msg like, Can not find Scenery Aera 123, 124 etc. I unzipped the zipped file to my scenery Folder and copied and pasted the two scenery cfgs entrys that he gave. Never could get it to work. Would someone that got it to work please send a screen shot of you scenery cfg so I might see what I did wrong? Thanks jerrycwo4

I've been flying FS9 since it was released in 2003 and haven't had any weird glitches or anything the entire time until this week. It seems now that all of the sudden when Im running an IFR flight, ATC is not only vectoring me into TCAS alerts so close that you can see the interior seats of the AI planes, but have also vectored me into a few airports but given me approach altitudes that have had me fly right into a mountain face at 240 knots. I know I dont have to follow the ATC vectors, but when youre going for realism, not using ATC vectors is kinda lame. Ideas??

I think this has been addressed before, but I've been away from the forum for a long time. FS9 was working just fine, now flickers when it comes up -- virtually can't do anything. Any help appreciated.

This morning on a flight with Radar Contact4 running, by accident, I missed keyed a certain "keystroke" and it gave me all of the VOR waypoints and the distances to them. I could not make this happen again. Anyone know what keystrokes brings this info up and where this list of info comes from? Thanks jerrycwo4

Hi Folks:I apologize if I am a little behind here, but I just noticed that most of downtown Detroit is in the river and the bridge into downtown is over land! Hello. I'm hoping someone can help with an issue that has started happening.It seems then alot (not all) of the time I go to close the kneeboard FS9 will crash on me. It doesn't seem to matter what aircraft I'm in either. It seems to be happening more frequently now and it's driving me crazy. Everytime I want to open the kneeboard I pretty much have to save the flight because if it does close me out I'm hosed.Has anybody run into this before? If so I would greatly appreciate some assistance.Thanks very much!

Hi All,My FS2004 suddenly developed a loading problem in that the title screen loads and then a box titled 'SIM Track' comes up with an error message 'Warning:unable to locate airport data file'. If I click OK the loading continues but the program becomes very unstable and hard to close down. I did have SIM charts 3.0 Demo and PMDG B747-400 loaded but have (attempted)to remove all of these add-ons to try to fix the problem. I can't seem to remove the SIM charts using 'add and remove programs' which I suspect is where the problem may lie. The original driver discs load fine onto any other computer so it's not the program that's corrupt. It must be something in my PC?. Any …

Anybody know where I can get some better numbers for my Gulfstream? I'm using the very lovely Gulfstream IV by Rick Sasala. The plane flies great, but the weights are all way off. This results in fuel flows and ranges not working well at all. I've found good information on the actual weights of the aircraft. Off the top of my head, the FS version has a max gross of around 20 or 30k, which is actually less than the empty weight of the real thing. I've modified the fuel flow scalar to give me the correct maximum range, but it gives a cruise fuel flow of about one tenth of what it should be.I've looked around a little for tweaks, but so far haven't found anything. Hi all,I have been using FreeFlow Florida but am having difficulty getting it to work properly. The area looks pretty good except that some roads are in the water, but the bridges stick out. The water level is just a little high. Is the tide in or something? I also use FreeFlow Bahamas, dont know if that has a problem or not.Anyway, I think it has to do with the order of stuff in the scenery menu but I just don't know. I just made my 5 yearly investment in a new pc. I got a intel quad core 2.66gHz cpu with a nVidia 9800 video card.Can anybody tell me why I only get - at best - 4 frames per second with the Queen in 2D and even less in 3d?This is a worse performance than with my previous 2gHz single cpu outfit.Help before I leap off a bridge!!
