Yesterday I tried to fly online (on IVAO) with an aircraft that had no FMC, so I used the GPS instead. It works fine, except when the controller requires a DIRECT to a waypoint of the route.I know how to change the active leg to change the next waypoint, but the problem is that the aircraft does not take a direct heading to this waypoint.To make my explanations clearer:My flight plan is A - B - C - D - E - F - G - H.I took off from A, I passed B so I am flying to C.The controller asks a DIRECT to F:I make the leg from E to F active, so that F becomes the next waypoint. Ive encounted strange thing,While on spot view the scenery reloads quite fast.But when flying virtual cockpit the scenery remains blurry for a long time.Exiting again to a spot view BANG ! reloads fast.Any idea ?I have a monster system, that wont have any problem.Thx

Does anyone know if there's anything on the horizon regarding a complex (FMS/FMC) biz jet? I've got Wilco/Feelthere Citation X--which is ok but really curious why know one has developed a Gulfstream V or 550?Also, CRJ? Just curious about this. I've just flown from LEMG (Malaga, Spain) to LFPO (Paris-Orly, France) in my 737-300 (nice storm at landing btw), and have noticed something I have realized about before: most airports in France, including international ones, have no PAPIs nor any kind of VASI at their runways. Is this a FS9 issue or it's so in the real world? What's the reason, in any case?TIA,JAMM

Hello,I am still in the process of adding things to my FS9 and was looking for a freeware scenery for Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport, as well as for a series of freeware Italian airports whose name I but cannot remember. I have not had any luck searching Avsim.com, Avsim.ru or flightsim.com, so I'm once again asking for your help :) .Any other good freeware sceneries of major airports would be greatly appreciated, too.Thanks for all replies and best regardsDominik

Hello,I was wondering whether these fine aircraft can be tweaked such that you don't start with a "cold and dark" cockpit? Hi,I've been using and enjoying UT (with the Summer '07 update) for more than a year, and recently purchased and installed UTX too. All this time I have had no significant issues or complaints with them, but now I'd like to try other AI packs, but, if possible, I'd prefer not to uninstall UT/UTX and easily switch back to them if needed.I am wondering whether renaming or moving some traffic .bgl file would suffice to get this done or anything else must be hacked.Any help would be welcome. Hi all,I gave FSX another chance, but once again I could not get the stuttering to stop, so I think I'll be joining you all in FS9 again. Just one question before I do. Is there anything I can do to improve the ground textures at low altitudes, such as on approach? I use GE Pro, but that only helps once I get up to 3-5,000 feet. What can I do below that to make me shelve FSX once and for all?

Good morning,I just reinstalled FS9 after a long time of absence and am currently adding a few new aircraft to my roster. I also installed the Project Tupolev Il-62M, but I can't seem to find any repaints of this aircraft. As the topic states, Every time I spawn at runway 29 or fly/taxi over the end of runway 29 at Oakland, CA (KOAK), Flightsim CTDs. I have already tried de-installing the Mach-1 scenery and Megascenery NoCal. What else could I do?

Hi.I saw on here some time ago a file that listed what was on what disk etc for FS9.I have messed up my AI sounds and would like to put the originals back on, but can't remember what disk there on.If anyone knows what the file was called that would be great.Many thanks.

Hello,one other question for the moment. I misplaced my registration key for FSNavigator and I understand the programme is no longer being sold, so I can apparently not obtain a new key. I purchased my key directly from the FSNavigator team and not from Simmarket, so I cannot go and look it up once more. Can any of you point me to a good alternative (freeware or payware) to this programme?Thanks,Dominik

I just spent two hours flying the PMDG 747-400 on my ancient DEll XPS Gen 4 rig for the first time in 2 months and must say it rocks and rocks, wow. Frames are good, fluidity is generally excellent, and my home cockpit is just a delight to operate even though I'm rusty on some things after this absence. But reading the threads on FSX and seeing folks who've spent thousands of fresh $$ on their rigs and still having issues with fps and fluidity, etc., I thank my lucky stars I stuck with FS9 and that it remains my sim of choice. Hello,as FS is only able to use 2048MB of RAM it is possible to change this to a higher value. In XP you could do this by the Boot.ini file but in Vista this is not able anymore. Now you have to open the DOS Window and have to write a command to increase the value.Does somebody know the command Line I have to write?Thanks for help
