Hi,I have just been having some fun and games with the CS707.I was on VATSIM just now on a flight from BHX to EGKK, and several times during the taxi it kept playing the ground voice, and trying to push-back while I was taxiing.I know it's kind of funny, but it was driving me mad.I had to send a private text to the controller, so I must have inadvertently pressed a key combination somewhere.Does anyone know what it is, and if it can be disabled at all.Many thanks.

I have a question regarding AI flightplanning programs.Does anyone know of a program which can:a) produce a listing of installed flightplans and the aircraft they are assigned toOR:( allows the user to highlight a specific AI aircraft and display a listing of the flightplans that aircraft is assigned to

Can someone tell me how to do this in a heavy, or point me to a good, easy to understand and not overly verbose tutorial? It doesn't happen often and I do hit the backcourse button on the autopilot which gets me set on the localizer, but am I correct in assuming I'm on my own to set the descent rate myself? That there is no glideslope in a backcourse ILS signal?There is so much that humbles me in this hobby! Thank you, folks!

Anyone provide a quick "guide" to adding sounds to switches in panels? For example; adding clicks to Smoking/Seatbelts etc...Any help appreciated....

Hi all, I'm using the AFCAD file that came with the great USNN scenery, but the lines and markings are not visable. The AI parking, lights and tower view seem to indicate that the correct AFCAD is being loaded. Did a search for other USNN AFCADs and nothing came up. Any suggestions......PeaceRen

I have been looking at the Carenado aircraft models (Cessna, Piper etc.), but could not find icons for GPS, Map,Knee board etc. on thecockpit panel. Do the Carenado aircraft come with GPS etc?Thanks.Stanner

i'm testing a new aircraft i got but am not picking up any localizer or glideslope information at KMEM Runway 18L. i know about intercepting at 10 miles and 3000ft and i think the minimum is something like 2500feet.i wanted to come in lower than 3000ft so i tried 2500 and 2600ft but i get nothing. the localizer/glideslope does not com alive.is that to low an altitude? i'm pretty sure ATC has brought me in at some airports at 2400ft.all the autopilot and radio setting are correct.william

Go to KHOU this morning rwy 04. Hop in any light craft such as the Caranado 182, drop to full flaps, add some power and you can hover. Kind of fun. The winds right now with Active Sky are around 65 knots. Perfect hovering speed. :)Scott

FS9 should run like a dream on my new system, so I got the process underway last night...HOWEVER. Already I have run into Vista headaches. Am running Vista Ultimate 64. UAC is disabled, and I am listed as 'Administrator' under user accounts, but despite this, I can't get into 'application data' in documents and settings to get to my cfg file, and carry out the customary editing of terrain vertex, adding fssound.dll info etc...In the three months since I got my new system, I had been thinking to myself that all …

Another thread here finally got me to investigating Pro Flight Emulator Deluxe while I await the release of Radar Contact v5, and what I read makes PFE actually look pretty cool, especially if one goes for the optional extra voice pack. Anything I need to be aware of before I press the "Buy Now" button on this product? Anybody whose used PFE, or switched from RC4 to PFE and has any guidance for me it would be greatly appreciated.I've been using RC v4 for a long time and frankly I never fly without it. I have more than 1,000 aircraft installed, and most of them utilize the Garmin GPS 500. Yesterday, I installed a newly revised Space Shuttle, and the instructions called for the modification of the panel.cfg, etc. Now, all of a sudden, I've lost my gps displays on all of my aircraft, including the new Space Shuttle installation. I deleted the Space Shuttle, and I went into the FS2004 Gauges folder, and I tried to get rid of the gauges that came along with the Space Shuttle. I've even tried re-installing the Garmin GPS gauge "cab" suite. So far, no luck............ This happened to me once before, years ago. I seem to have issues with non-working or intermittent tail logo lights (the actual light spash on the tail) on some of my Posky V4 747's. What's weird is you can see the tail light up briefly when the lights are first turned on but then they go away after about a second. Sometimes only one side of the tail will light up. Any ideas?

Hi Guys, I have just spent the last hour going through all my previous posts to try and find an answer to this but cant find the post which gives the answer so apologese for asking the same question again but I cannot for the life of me remember what the cause of this problem is.When AI aicraft vacate the runway some get stuck leaving the runway before they reach the hold short limit causing a queue of planes which back up the runway until they dissapear. This also means that if aircraft have not left the runway that all subsequent landings are informed to go around until the aircraft have times out?All I remember is that it is something I have done when editing my AFCAD!…

I've started flying the IFDG 767-400ER again and I have noticed that I am not able to get up to the cruise profile of .80 Mach. Is it possible to modify some parameter to increase the engine performance? When the tanks were almost empty, the most I got was .78 Mach. Due to my initial weight from PHNL to KATL, I wasn't able to get above FL 320 either. I didn't know if that sounded right to others more knowledgeable, but seemed that the aircraft was slightly underpowered.Thanks,Eric

Ok, curiousity has got the best of me. I have 220 scenery layers in my FS9 scenery.cfg file including the default scenery layers. No real obvious problems but I was wondering:1. Is there was a limit to the maximum number of scenery layers possible?2. How many layers do you have including the default scenery layers?Thanks.

Hiya,I've just setup a flightsim pc running 3 * 8800 GTS graphics cards to give me 3 views (3 monitors). This all worked fine and I have a lovely 180 degree wraparound display.The problem I'm having is that I am getting flashes on the screens, these are black or white flashes as the tile's load (I assume it's the tiles as they are smallish and only very briefly, but still very noticeable). They are at varying distances from the airplane from very close to far away, and I can't seem to get rid of them. Sadly it seems there will not be a V3 of the Aeroworx B200 for FS9 anymore. It's now a Flight1 project and FSX only. I guess things change but I must admit that I am very disappointed in the way Aeroworx handled this whole thing. The change was made a year ago already but nothing was posted on the Aeroworx forum, even after multiple requests for updates. Truely sad! Stinks of PSS and CS doesn't it :(

Hello all,I have been away from Flightsim for awhile, due to the death of my PC. I have a temporary stand in while I save for that 'dream machine'. I have come back to find I must have been a demented download freak when I was downloading all that awesome freeware scenery, aircraft and utilities. Hello AllThe little arrow that you get in most jet airliners to indicate wind direction....Can you help me with this..If the arrow was pointing north would that indicate that the wind is coming from the north or would it coming from south.Andy
