I have just reinstalled Active Sky 6 and now find aircraft pulling to the left on take off (but they have pulled to the right too!). Clearly I have disturbed something and I can't figure out what. Maybe Active Sky has got nothing to do with it. Can anyone offer a suggestion to fix this? Many thanks. John V

Hello all-before my snow/ice textures sharpen into focus they show ugly lines across them. I seem to remember a set of replacement textures that remove or minimize this effect. Anybody know of these? Cheers

I just installed the scenery. I've tried everything to stop all the ground stripes from looking like marquis lights. (flashing dots) Is this just a fault of the scenery?Michael

Farking wonderful... I installed a new freeware airport scenery and downtown buildings scenery from the file library last night. Installed as normal in my addon scenery folder - something I've done a million times.Started the sim to activate the sceneries and then exited. Started the sim again and got the blue screen of death. Strangely it was the really bad blue screen of death. If you have been heavily involved in computers you know what I'm talking about - not the 'normal' BSOD but the one that has a little different font to it. I recently purchased KATL from ImagineSim and found that it is raised up compared to the terrain around it. I have FSGenesis installed. Here is a pic of the problem:http://members.shaw.ca/jtc12/KATLraisedterrainproblem.jpgI emailed ImagineSim and they said FSGenesis is wrong. I realize this isn't a FS issue directly, but it happened as result of installing an FS addon. I just installed Traffic from JustFlight into FS9. The Windows Install Wizard opened normally, and the install went well. Upon rebooting my system, the first thing on the desktop was the Install Shield window, trying to find the CD to install Roxio CD Creator version 7! I do have this program and it is installed on my system, but I haven't used it recently. Later, when right-clicking on my C-drive icon in My Computer, same thing. The install window is still looking for Roxio, and now it happens every time. I rebooted, and the same thing the install shield window opens …

Hi there folks, I moved my FS setup over to a better equipped PC earlier this year and today I have been going thought and removing some old stuff from my old PC which I no longer use (for FS). I came across ttools companion, however so far I have not been able to remove it as it says ST6UNST.log cannot be opened or read. The log appear's in the location that my PC is looking for and it has not been deleted. Just wondered if anyone had come across this problem or knows of a way around this to remove it?Thanks

Hi all my names Eddie, a newbie on the forums but a seasoned simmer.My bag is the 737 in all of it's guises ( except Microsoft's version:D )the PMDG 600/700/800/900 being the real deal AFAIC. I'm looking forward immensely to the forthcoming NGX. This should be easy because I have had VOZ AI working on my previous computer. If you were slow getting airbourne at say Sydney, aircraft waiting to depart would bunch up behind your plane, which I thought was a nice effect.I have decided to reinstate FS9 and have a choice of two MS flight sims to choose from. Alas though, I am having some problems putting it together. This is one. I have installed VOZ AI 1.1 and the patch 1.1.5 and as far as I can see nothing is working. The installation instructions says I should drag the AI slider in the configuration menus to 100%, but....where is the slider? That may be all I need to do.Thanks for any helpJohn V

Hey guys,I'm reinstalling FS9 on a new computer, starting afresh and all that. I've been using Ultimate Traffic and found the airports really well populated but the quality of some of the textures and models wasn't that great. Being a bit lazy I don;t really fancy upgrading all the models (unless theres a super easy way of doing it that anyone knows of!?)So now I'm thinking of using World of AI, but my worry is that I'll download and install these packs only to find my airports sparsely populated and subsequently wish I hadn;t bothered and just installed UT.Is anyone using most of the WoAI packs and seeing busy airports? I fly around Europe.CheersDan

A June 11th news release on their website says that after their next South American release, they will be shying away from the smaller regional airports and moving up to the "global" airports. They said that there is not enough interest from the simming public to generate the return for their time & investment, which is probably right. SO what is their next 2 airports.......CYUL & KORD!! I read this review on Avsim and was wondering if you guys think it is worth it. I noticed one very weird behaviour in FS9. Now maybe these numbers are totally irrelevant, but I noticed that FPS in FS9 is showing odd behaviour when Squawkbox3 is opened from inside the simulator, AND one changes from windowed to full screen.Set up any situation, ground or air, and look in some direction so that you get many FPS. Open SB from inside of FS, check windowed, change to full screen, voila, FPS drop to EXACTLY 60fps (VSync is off in Nhancer). Open SB from outside, FPS doesn't change. Hi everyone, I've just installed the FlightSim Manager 2.8.5 and also the patch fsmgr.zip and I'd like to use it for managing my scenery.cfg. However, when I applied the patch and I found that only a blank window with a FS directory selection is shown but no any other buttons. If I close the window, an error is shown (something like Err 006). I've also try other methods to run it but no success. Could this problem be solved? Thanks!

I'm really starting to get frustrated with my FS9 crashes. Hi!I'm messing around with screenshots and video creation through Fs2004 and what i want to do is to create some videos based upon the online traffic at the moment.What i dont have is proper aircraft quality for the other players' aircrafts?Can i do anything about it? I am a member of virtual North Eastern Airlines - NEAir and have been trying for several days to get FS2004 to recognize the callsign for North Eastern. I have downloaded both EditVoicepack and ATC_Voicepack_SDK and can't get either one to work. When flying all ATC uses is my flight number. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A few days ago a bit the bullet and shelled out for the complete 757 pack. Love it so far even if it is a little more harsh on frames than other aircraft. One thing that dissapointed me though was the engine sounds as they seem too similar to the default 737 for my liking. I've noticed theres several great looking 757 soundsets in the avsim library but wonder if these will work with the captainsim aircraft and if so which soundpack is the best?opinions please.thanks.
