While flying a flight plan ATC interupts and suggests a course correction..usually of 25 degrees. This will go on for a while with further instructions to adjust the turn and proceed on route.What's up with that? Happens almost every flight two or three times. When this happens I am always "perfectly" on course.

I've just reinstalled FS9 on a new Homebuild (specs below) and have opted to bypass reinstalling Ground Environment Pro II up until now because my new Bird's Eye View textures and autogen with my Ultimate Terrain (which I've always flown with) have been nothing less than stunning -- even at 30,000 feet. I reinstalled GEProII once already and then wiped the HD to start over due to other issues, and I really want to keep his install as lean as possible. At over 32 gigs in size my GE Pro texture sets on my old rig would take quite a bit of time to copy over through my network, and would also take quite a bit of room on my C: drive which is only 150 gigs. I just purchased a new computer and I am using vista with fs9. Everything works great except for the 2d panels. Leveld and the Maddog.Certain insturments continuously flicker. I'm running a velocity micro intel®core2 quad cpu q9450 @2.66 ghz ram 4.0 GB 64 bit OS, and a nvidia 9800 512 MB. Any ideas on the flickering insturments? Thanks. Doug Morlan

I am thinking about dumping Norton Internet Security 2006 for NOD32 or any other recommendations that you might have. I feel that I should get better performance on FS9 by doing this hopefully. My subscription is running out in a month on NIS2006. What I am concerned about is the uninstalling NIS2006. I will use the Norton Removal Tool to do this, but how much of it is still in the registry? Where do you find it in the registry? I hope doing this wouldn't effect FS9 in anyway because I do have quite a few addons for it. Is there anyone that has tried removing Norton products in this forum? Does it cause trouble with FS9/FSX?Any info would be great. Thank You,Kurt…

Hi everybodyHere's a strange one for the experts. For some reason my F1 Pilatus PC-12 refuses to move on the ground, no matter how much throttle I give it. I've tried different surfaces, no difference at all. Tried all the usual tricks (selecting the default Cessna, etc), even got the Cessna upto around 50kts on the runway then selected the PC-12, and she comes up at 0kts. I've tried other planes, all OK. Removed and reinstalled the PC-12, still no difference.I am well and truly stumped on this one!

After finally getting bored of the three 737's ive been flying for years(PMDG,Wilco and Ariane) i decided it was time for a change. I went down the airbus route and got myself the "Volume 1" package. Seems pretty good so far, but one thing in particular that i've found and LOVE is the ability to map the various autopilot functions to the keyboard by setting it up in the little config utility that came with the package. No more flapping around fighting the active camera turbulence trying to find the dials with my mouse pointer!Anyway that brings me to my question, which is, has anybody found a way to do this with other aircraft? I's love to have the same thing for my 737's…

Hi,Few days ago, on one of those nights I couldn't sleep, I mess up with my Windows (XP pro SP3).I uninstall FS9, deleted all folders, and reinstall it all again.For my surprise, when I was going to update FS9 to v9.1, the installer replied that I already have that version installed. For my grief, I understood that I should have uninstall it before deleted all folders from windows.Cant find any help from Microsoft how to manually uninstall the update.Can anyone please help me?The reason that I want to install the update, is that FS9 is all time crashing.Any help will be welcome.Best Regards,Hugo

I still can not get FS Time to work coerrectly. A few days ago, "Lee" had a quote from them saying that they were going to BUNDLE FS Time vr 1.87.6 with World Time Zones v3.0 to correct the known problems. I just finished downloading their latest: FS Time vr 1.87.6 and it is coupled with World Time Zones v3.51( the BAD one) and NOT v3.0 as the quote says. Where can I find this older v3.o to get my FS Time working correctly? Thanks jerrycwo4

Ok so i am not new to FS9 (about 7 years experience) but i have this problem that is SO annoying. I can only describe it with a 10 sec video of it happening. My settings are:here are pics of my settingsMy system:AMD 3800 X2 (939)overclocked to 2.25ghzBFG Tech 7800gt overclocked slightly1gb ram120gb HDHeat is not a problem.Drivers are up to date. Deleting the FS9 cfg does not help.As far as i know it only does it with this and other POSKY models also it does this anywhere. I have mostly airport scenery installed also. I just bought AFX, Airport Facilitator for FS2004. I've been able to generate a couple layouts, that was easy enough. But my question is how do i add buildings, terminals, etc. And these airports will not let me add an ILS frequency. Can anybody help?

For more the 3 years I have had Traffic Manager by Vanderlei Martinelli installed. And now it's beginning to make the first problems.When I try to update my Airport list I get a warning. Hi all,As listed in the title, I am trying to find a way if possible, to disable AI aircraft from appearing in the Aircraft Selection Screen basically to clear up my FS and prevent unnecessary clutter.For some reason, I vaguely remember viewing somewhere that you were able to do this by editing the .air file, but cannot remember what or where and if it even was possible.I would obviously like to keep my AI Aircraft so they work in the sim and load and everything, but I don't want to have to scroll through constant sub-menus and have them load for no reason if I don't want to fly them.A lot of them don't show up in the Selection Screen so I know it must be possible. Certain lights appear to float over my runways -- it seems to happen at mostly my FlyTampa airports. Can anyone point me to a fix for this? Has anyone discovered a way to disable the green Info bar which advises which tower is being accessed in the excellent AutoTower program by Christoph Langguth?There are several "length of display" options in the ini file but I see no way to disable the display completely.I find it rather distracting when flying.E-mails to the author have been returned as undeliverable and the same question has been posted - with no response - on his website.This is such a great program I do not want to appear "picky" but for me, being able to disable that bar would be "iceing on the cake".Any suggestions appreciated.

Hello,I installed Ultimate Terrain Europe but their are almost no changes.I asked one user to post a picture of EDDN Airport and as you can see EDDN with Ultimate Terrain is surrounded by grass and woods in the north.But on my FS9 their are still the same residental aereas in the north of the airport as before the installation of UT Europe ?!Their are changes in of the street layout and geographie of the streets but not of the geogeraphie of residental aereas?!What's wrong?Many thanks for help!

Hello,I just downloaded Ultimate Terrain Europe and when cklicking on the File that is market with the Flight1 Logo it says the that either the exe file is perhaps not fully downloaded. The exe file is not openable, Windows says their is no program on my PC to open it? Doesd anyone know what to do?
