Does anyone have an idea why Level D, PMDG, or another company capable of modeling with their skills (I don't know of any) won't model the B777? My brother in-law is a triple 7 United Captain and has flown nearly everything over his many years and says that the B777 is the best plane he has ever flown, with tremendous performance. I would like to see for FS 9, a realistic, fully functioning FMC, complex modeled 777. I think there would be more interest in this plane then any other sim, with the only exception possibly being an Air Simmer or AirlinerXP Airbus, if one is ever produced. Hi all,I am using a saitek proflight yoke and am now experiencing this on every aircraft, after take-off as soon as I leave go of the yoke the aircraft takes a nose dive. Has anyone else had this problem. I replaced the saitek throttle with the PFC module and having disconnected this the same thing happens.I am running FS9 on XP 64bit. thanks in advancekilgourj

On my Overland 747's opening the exit doors also opens the cargo doors which is nice but it's the only plane that does it. Is there a way I can link the two on my other aircraft that have that feature? The Boeings have exit and cargo and some of the Airbusses also I think. 1 button exit/cargo opening would be nice.Thanks for any info.

I've download multiple 747's from avsim and none of their sounds work. Everything else is fine.......

Just started getting this warning box when I start FS9 (while it's loading with the splash screen etc):Error Loading GPS_Engine. Flightplan will not be used.I hit ok and it loads normally and appears to have no impact on flights.Any suggestions?Thanks!Mudhendriver

Hi,When flying IFR you need to load a fllightplam. If you do not load a flightplan the ATC thinks you are flying VFR and so you get no Take Off cleareance during bad weather. As I updatet my Navdatas with the newest AIRAC Cycles the default flight planner in which I create a flight is not up to date anymore because many Navadatas are not working anymore. So, how can I fly IFR with ATC without using the FS9 Flightplanner??????Thanks for help!

Hello all.I have searched & searched for a fix for this, and it seems that all I can find is approach lights too big, or change aircraft lights, or halo.bmp... but nothing to address the specific issue of runway lighting from a distance.For example, I did a quick test flight in the default Lear from KMQY (Smyrna airfield) to KBNA (Nashville Int'l) and I tuned in Nashville VOR BNA 114.10, and at 2DME I finally saw rwy31 light up. The BNA VOR is on the field, near center of the airport. I could see either two, or all three of the 02/20 runways, but tracking BNA VOR in at 310

UPDATE/EDIT: I seem to have fixed it. It's looking like it was the mouse driver, which is odd, but after updating .NET and messing with a few other settings, and not having that work, I updated my mouse driver and now I'm not seeing the problem. Hopefully things will stay that way! I want to enjoy my new ASA. I'll leave this posted in case anyone runs into this problem or sees it reported elsewhere. Thanks anyway. :( I'm hoping someone can tell me why this is happening. Hello,For the first time I installed an AIRAC File for LDS767. Now I wanted to give the FMC the route informations for my flight but the FMC does not know many Navdatas anymore. Prior the AIRAC installation the FMC did know the navdatas but now a lot of them are gone but they are still visible in the FS9 Map.Any idea what happened?Thanks for help!

I have just recieved PIC 737. Went through the upgrade with no issues. APU startup went fine. Step by step with the shipped manuel by Mike Ray.Now either I must have missed something but my EADI, EHSI, FMC are not on.My startup utility are configed for running enginges but all came down to the same situation.Cheers,

Hi All,I'm curious how to undo the changes made when you load an FS2K2 aircraft into FS9 and you've selected to turn off "unsupported" features. I accidentally did this with a FS8 aircraft I recently installed and now I can't get the wheels to appear or the doors to close. I know though that this aircraft is compatible with FS9 as I've seen more than a few screen shots with it in use.Thanks,Greg

Has anyone here who uses PFE configured STARs for various rwys? I'd be curious to know how you do it. Do you preconfigure STARs for specific airports before building a flight plan and compiling it in PFE or after?

Nice add-on, however I am experiencing difficulties :1. during take off it is extremely nervous on the ground and hardly controllable to go straight forwards, even if there is no wind2. in the air there is strong 'bufetting' AoA indicator moving up and down, making the thing unflyableAny suggestions ?

Hi All,Lately I've been having a strange control failure on short final. This does not happen all of the time, usually only with more complex aircraft in heavy scenery areas, but the effect is always identical... At about 400ft AGL, the controls pull the plane hard to the right, repeated again at 300ft and 150ft. I understand this most likely has something to do with the heavy load put on my machine by the heavy scenery and heavy aircraft, though the fact that an x64 Quad core 2.83GHz with 4GB of RAM and 2GB of video ram should have any trouble running FS9 doesn't really make sense to me.Can anyone give any ideas on how to stop this loss of control on short final (Its ver…

I keep flying in certain areas and getting black screen. Using autosave I can repeat this but if I fly another heading all is ok, so it must be a scenery problem. I have disabled all addon scenery and AI traffic but still occurs.The question is, with all addon scenery disabled , can I reload from fs9 disk the original default textures/scenery, and would this affect the addon scenery when enabled?Regards Mike

Into site of PMDG MD-11 product page, the pmdg report <MD11 FOR FS 2004 release into LATE 2008> OK, A TODAY is 24 December, missing 7 days to final 2008 year..... LATE 2008 release or last day of 2008 release.....I not understand the PMDG have released MD11 FSX first..... and not release same time combo version , and when the majority of simmer use fs 2004 and minority simmer use the FSX product..... :( :(

Hi I'm having problems with 737 PIC and wondered if I could pick the brains of anyone on this forum who may encountered the same issues and overcome them.My problem starts when I select the 737 (any model from the pack) from the create a flight screen in FS. As soon as I click on 'Fly Now' FS simulator exits the program and returns to my Windows desktop????If I'm midflight and select from the aircraft menu the same 737 the aircraft loads up fine and continues as normal without exiting FS. Any Ideas?Any help appreciated, many thanks.

Hi,I've used the search function but did not find what I was looking for. Ever since I got Editvoicepack, I've noticed a few tweaks such as line and up and wait as well as the wind direction upon landing/takeoff. However the biggest problem that I still have is having to hold short of the runway even when the next aircraft is still 7 nm away! Anyway to get around that? And what are some other free tweaks that can be incorporated?Thanks, Igor.

Hi,I have just installed World Airports 2. As nice as MAnchester Airport looks, neither the default ATC or Radar contact are able to correctly identify the start of the runways. I can't get takeoff clearance and Progressive Tax for 06R takes me to somewhere near the terminal!Any idea how to fix this?

I have Tom Kohler's B29 Superfortress base pack and have found that the only way to steer on the ground is to use differential main gear braking. The nose wheel does not steer at all. :( :( Am I missing something obvious?Season's greetings to all from the UK :(
