I've had all my requests to save posts in this new FS9 foum rejected. I use the page File heading Save As, send the post to the desired file and then get this message: This Web Page Could Not Be Saved. I didn't seem to have this problem with the former FS9 forum. Is anyone else having this problem, and, if not, could someone please let me know the proper save procedure? Many thanks...lee

I am BLOWN AWAY!....this is SERIOUSLY GOOD work....Can't remember having so much fun and immersion than at the controls of this aircraft.And...boy...do you have to know what you are doing in this baby....there is no 'slop-of-forgiveness'. You fly like a turkey, you find yourself quickly in the ground of the 'farm'.....WOW!My extreme compliments and many thanks for this superb freeware offering. What a Christmas present...:)Thank you! It seems were ever I fly, my scenery always ends up being blurry. I can refresh it and all is good for maybe 5 minutes and then blurry again. What can cause this? Thanks, Bob

  6. Hey guys,Sorry to bother you with this but I know I have seen you guys around these forums and I know both of you are/were involved with the Airbus 2nd Edition or volunteering to help out FT. Personally, I think they are the only decently modeled (systems wise) big busses available in FS today so thanks for the efforts, I enjoy them, especially with FS2Crew!I am sure this was never the intended use case but I was wondering if you guys had any ideas why the busses won't run on XP 64? I am 99.9% migrated to XP 64 and really the 340-300/500/600 and some Dreamfleet stuff using the reality-xp gauges are the only things I can't port over...I know it was a long shot but was ho…

Hello GuysI did search everywhere for answers before posting and I cannot come up with any solution. It is very frustrating, and I posted the same message in other forums as well, hoping to find some advice. My rig is a Gateway gaming laptop (Core 2 Duo 2.26 Ghz, 3 MB cache, 4 GB RAM, NVIDIA 9800M GTS 512 MB, 320 GB 7200 rpm HD) and I have no problem reaching 90 fps+ with complex planes (I can land with 100% add-on traffic in complex add-on airport without going under 40 FPS) so performance is not a problem. The problem is not matter how I try, I still have square lines toward the horizon, especially on water, as soon as I reach 15-20.000 ft of altitudeIt does this with any…

I see mention sometimes in some aircraft files that 'aircraft is pre-trimmed' for take off? How is that done? I'd like to be able to have my trim already set but I would think this would have to do with fuel load and payload and that it would change from flight to flight. Can someone explain 'pre-trim' and how it's done? Thanks

Hi all,I don't know if this has been addressed but here's what happened when I installed the latest version of Acrobat Reader 9.0. Acrobat Reader 9.0 inlcudes Acrobat.com on Adobe AIR. Notice the word AIR. When I install Acrobat Reader 9.0 on my computer with FS2004, it renamed all of the AIR files in the aircraft folder. I noticed it when I was installing an aircraft into FS2004. When I try to open the AIR file in the aircraft folder, it says that the file is damaged. This is NOT normal. It should prompt me to tell it what program to open the file. When I run FS2004, I haven't noticed any changes in the aircraft or it's performance. Even though I haven't noticed any chag…

What I do not understand is why anyone would want to try to use FSX aircraft in FS2004.Other than the default planes which come with FSX, there are precious few true FSX aircraft available.A large majority of the so called FSX aircraft are FS2004 planes which have been tweaked so they will work in FSX - very few have been created from scratch following the FSX guidelines completely.Other than the default FSX aircraft what might there be to gain?Aircraft of almost every type has already been modeled for FS2004 and there are hundreds of repaints in almost every conceivable livery available also.To answer the OP question though, I am reasonably sure you cannot use FSX aircr…

Let me start by saying how great it is to be a part of such a helpful community.Every day I look on here and see people offering up help to those who need it, asking nothing in return. That being said, I would like to offer a tip that addresses a minor pet peeve of mine.People will often add links in their posts to files in the library. This is fantastic that they are willing to look up something and then post a link to it as opposed to simply telling someone to "go find it yourself".My tip would be that when you do this you offer a link to the file description and not directly to the download. I personally would like to know what it is before I download it, maybe it doesn…

Is there a fix/update for the Vistaliners/Kittyhawk B732 that makes the engines spin? Looks somewhat unrealistic to see them not spinning while the engines are on.

It is almost impossible for me to switch to FSX (like 95.5% of serious flight simulation users). We all know how demanding FSX is and there is currentlyno equiptment to move the simulationsmoothly, it's simply not available. In fact I went to the giant US electronics Store in the US (where they can build the computer you want, if money is not a problem), and I tested a $6,000 computer they built for FSX. Well, I tested FSX (with no add-ons...just default scenry and airplanes), and guess what? The frame-rates were no where smooth-- very, poor. (Imagine $6,000 computer with the best hardware out there)Any ways, more over I have heavyly invested in high quality professiona…

I just gave myself an early Christmas present by purchasing Active Sky which has been so highly recommended in these forums. However I am unsure just how to make the best use of the program.Would someone who regularily uses it please provide a 1, 2, 3 outline of how you use the many options and what (if anything) I should avoid doing?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

HelloI fancied a bit of a change from the heavies so thought i would try the ISDT ATR 72-212 MODEL it was a fine looker (American express livery)but it was a horrible flier.I am a fairly proficient simmer (not beginner)so i had the correct loads correct fuel etc.I found that it would not hold cruise altitude without a horrible nose up attitude,I tried with auto throttle set at the ATR cruise position,Autopilot on...nose up.I tried with AP off and manually using the throttles....no change even with the torque settings rising to something horrible the plane would only fly nose up.Anyone else tried these ATRs?there was only one 72-212 model by the way so perhaps the other mo…

Searched awhile & couldn't find this subject, so I'll ask.I'd like for my FS9 flight to continue (windowed) while I read the LVLD767 manual in a PDF window. Whenever I try this, the FS9 program pauses if it doesn't have focus. Any way around this? Thanks.
