Hello Simmers,I would like to purchase FS Global but I am not sure wheather to buy the old version from 2005 or the new one.Is there a big difference between the 2 version to FS2004?Is the performance impact of both products to FS9 the same or has the older version a less performance impact to FS9?Thanks for answers

Has any one else had this 'pure virtual function call' error lately. I have had it before and fixed it after many google searches, something to do with registry entry errors, can't remember the link i used to find a cure. I ask this now as the #### problem has returned and i can't get rid of it, I know it's c++ related or file that has got on my harddrive and I've tried all the usual things that i can remember but with no luck. It can happen any time while i'm simming sometimes 10 minutes or much longer and any scenery or a/c, reinstalled a fresh working fs9.exe file but always pops up and sends me to desktop. If anyone can help i would be greatful. peter.

Hi everyone, I am having problem with aircraft callsign. I have installed the callsign, but only some flight has utilised it. As in, the same 737-400, but only some of the flight using Boeing 737, the rest never mention the aircraft type. How to overcome this problem? Your help is very much appreciated. Thank You.WendyT

This problem has reared it's ugly head on me again - every time I'm forced to use CH Products' CH Manager software, it screws up the delicate balance that IS my FS9 install! :-lolI bought an MFP panel from CH Products to replace my Ergodex, which doesn't support 64 bit OSs yet. The MFP panel REQUIRES you to use their CH Manager so that macros and multiple key presses can be recorded into the panel, and the bloody CH Manager blocks out all of my sweet customizations in my payware FSUIPC, so I'm at the mercy of CH's second rate programmers. Been simming since FS95 and therefore am not a stranger to FS9 reinstall etc. However, this is a new one for me, is it possible for the FS9.exe to become corrupted? If so, can I reinstall FS9.exe from the FS2004 CD without impacting current FS9 settings/addons/etc? Not sure it's related, but, I started hearing an audible "bleep" when FS9 is initially loading--while the DC-3 splashscreen is up and before it goes to settings menu.Along with the "beep" sound, my saved flight now starts with a "paused simulation" red text at the bottom--strange since I never saved a flight with pause...I didn't see a preference in settings to turn "paused simulation" at startup off...any th…

I am experiencing a Sim1.dll ctd at HUEN - Entebbe Intl Airport. It happens after I click Fly Now and around 98-99% loaded. I used Flightsim Manager, ACA2005 and 2007 and several other methods to make sure my AI planes were not causing problems. I am still going through several traffic bgls just to be sure but I do not think it is AI related because it happens on different days and times. I have Ultimate Terrain, FSGenesis and FSGlobal2008 installed. I verified that both mesh packages together do not cause a conflict per se only additional HD space used.I tried going to other airports in countries around HUEN and had no problems at those airports. Hey all, I did a search, but can't seem to find a specific post about the new C152 by Carenado for FS9. There was mention of a couple of adjustments someone made to the cfg to not make the plane so twitchy/sensitive. Before I purchase it, I want to make sure I could still get this info so I can make the appropriate changes right away. I can't remember where I read this and it is driving me nuts. It wasn't more than a week ago that I read it. Could anyone lead me in the right direction? I usually have no trouble finding older posts, but this time around isn't going as easy. Is there any way to veer left or right during pushback or is that available only in FSX?

Hi fellow simmers!I noticed that some addon aircraft have their gauges in the main FS9Gauges folder and others in their own panel folder (i.e. FS9AircraftTomcatPanel).What's the difference?Does it change anything when I put the gauges of a specific plane in its panel folder insted of in the main gauges folder?Thanks for your answers.J.R.

Seeing how my first help question went here, I am compeled to ask again for support, I have a problem now seeing other aircraft on my TCAS while conected to IVAO network. IVAO TCAS works fine, so its not a conection/multiolayer problem, I've tried everything, options and so, I know some of you had the same problem, can u guys tell me how to fix this ?Regards ICB

Before you say "it's Vista", I've been running FS9 and Vista for 7 months with no problem. Now, FS9 has started crashing on me. Specifics:Load any default aircraft and it loads fine. Also loads ok with the PMDG 737s.Load any OTHER aircraft (SSTSim, Wilco Airbus etc), it will crash immediately with an error in the WINMM.DLL file. DEP is turned off. Now, I've been trying to find some reference here on the board about this but can find nothing, so I'm tossing a big flag out for some help with this issue. Hey everyone. FS 2004 and FSX are both freezing up on me after about 45 minutes to an hour....each followed by the "Send Error Report" window. I've tried to find a solution everywhere but no luck. Recently I upgraded my power supply, ram, and video card but other games like COD World at War run fine for hours with no problems. I never had this problem before the hardware upgrade so I'm not sure. Hello,gamers are reporting about a new Dirextx9 Update (available since November). They are reporting about a major performance boost in games such as warhammer. Today at work I asked my co-worker, who is a computer nerd, about the reports. He confirmed what they reported. He is gaming ego-shooter games and since he installed the new update his games got a major perormance boost -> +15-20FPS, significant shortend loading times and things like this.Unfortunately I do not know anybody who is gaming FS with the new update.1. Hi all, I am having problem with aircraft callsign. I have installed editvoicepack and the aircraft callsign. Let say I have installed 737-400 as Boeing 737. But only some of my AI flight use Boeing 737, some of the other 737-400 never ever mention the aircraft type. I hope someone can help me on this. Your help is very much appreciated. Thank YouWendyT

Asus PC Probe or Asus Bios Update Utility. It installs something that was crashing my FS9, no matter what. I finally found it today, and carshes stopped. Uninstalling it, and all that comes along with it solved the problem. Maybe it helps someone else.

How do I get rid of the taxiway signs? I looked for them in the scenery folders but don't see them listed as taxi signs. Some of my airports are really cluttered with them so would like to remove them. I don't think AFCAD will work with this. Thanks for any info.

I didn't realize I had an issue until I was glancing through the IWI (Islands of the West Indies addon scenery) Instruction guide today and was looking at screenshots of how IWI is supposed to look. Here's the pic from the guide, versus what I see. Any ideas on my problem?
