Hello,I was not able to find a D-Calculator working in the Full Screen mode. All calculators I was able to find do work only in window mode so it is very bothering when flying in Full Screen to switch to window mode to make the calculator visible.Any tipps?Thanks for help

Hello,I just realized that my FS9 does not have Nav Aids anymore. When opening the GPS no more Navaids such as VOR's, Upper Airspace Airways, Lower Airspace Airways and so on. When planning a flight with the FS9 Flight Planner I got the message that no Nav Aids are available. I did not delete any files in FS9Does someone know the origin of the problem and how to fix it?Many thanks for help

I used to use Mcafee for my virus protection, I found after versions were updated that it had a negative effect on my MSFS, it slowed it down. I am currently using a free trial of Norton 2009 and I am not having any issues. Can anyone give me there feelings on Norton.Thanks

I'm using AES SOFTWARE but when I'm at an airport gate and engines off, I can't get my cargo doors to open? The only door that opens is the left front pass door using "SHIFT-E" I've used the following key combos; SHIFT-E-2,SHIFT-E-3 but I only get the left pass door to open and also I'll get either the lower center console or the pilot's CDU's to pop open. I thought maybe this problem is because I did a panel merge adding the PSS panel to the 777v2, but I get the same result on non altered POSKEY 777V2. Help please Thanks Don

Hi there, I have a couple of problems that I have put up with now for some time but now I wish to tap the knowledge that is out there.1 - Is to do with the graphics when using FS2004. I just do not seem to be able to get rid of the chunky graphics - the outline of the aircraft is never even - unless I am viewing side on. I have farted around with all sorts of settings (not that I really understand things very well) but always I end up with the same. How can I get those clean lines please? I'm aware that in Europe, most carriers use kilograms to measure aircraft and fuel weights. Is this the same in the US, or do pilots use pounds to measure weights?

Four years ago I bought a new computer, installed FS9 with the patch, and when I flew from Hawaii to San Francisco I got a CTD over the Pacific Ocean when half way to SFO. I also got a CTD when I flew out of KLAX flying West over the Pacific Ocean for about 200nm. Currently I have a lot of addons and this CTD still hapens. How do I fix this odd CTD? I only fly in Summer. I don't get a CTD when I fly from USA to Europe and back.

Hi there chaps - perhaps this post is better off in this forum :)I have a laptop with an external monitor hooked up to it. I just use the laptop screen to put the FMC etc. onto whilst all the main stuff goes onto the external monitor. Does anyone know how I can just select ONE of these screens for a screenshot? I've heard of using "alt + Print Screen" but that just brings up the menus.Does anyone have any ideas?Thanks for any help you can offer!Kind regards,Rudy

Hi all, I have purchased a new computer:Q95504gb ddr2 1100 ramX48-dq6 ram4870x2 x 2 in crossfirexI am running fs9 on xp and when I hit ALT to go into menu, it takes about 10 secs or longer for anything to happen where in my old system: E6400 2gb ram 7950GX2, it was instant. I can't find the problem. I have tried numerous installs on xp and problem is still present. I tried an install on Vista 64 and problem gone, but I prefer XP,Any ideas???

Has anyone run AISmooth and AISeparation simultaneously? Will this yield better results?

I am running into problems with AISmooth v1.20 with FSUIPC 3.85. I am using Flight Simulator 2004 with FSHotSeat for the AI Blast only. Hello I have been doing some testing and the end results are; CPU between 4.1GHz and 3.7GHz makes no difference to stutter mainly at heathrow with traffic set at 69%. scrency ultra high, plane high, display ultra high at 1440 x 900. The FPS does go up and down depending on CPU clock rate. Zero traffic = zero stutters flying at dubai with 69% traffic causes next to no stutters, its really only happens at heathrow, which has maximum density. Is there any way to limit or reduce the stutter caused by Traffic 2005? I think not becuase FS9.CFG is single thread I think that krishan PS. HelloI am being immensely...nay!Hugely immensely dim here but my question isI f I use ASKy graphics to install for instance 'WILD BLUE YONDER' theme into FS and I then download the weather (either live or archive)what if the weather I have downloaded is wild ,windy,thundery rainy etc how does the 'WILD BLUE YONDER ' OR AIRBORNE BLISS' fit in with a stormy weather download.Andy

One of my new addons requires that I find all aircraft.cfg files in my FS9/Aircraft folder that contains a specific line of text and the Windows XP search engine apparently won't look for text inside an aircraft.cfg file. If someone knows how to make it do this, please let me know what I may be doing wrong.Is there a utility that will find these specific .cfg files for me, and also possibly add 3 specific lines of text automatically to them all in a specified location in the .cfg file?As always, thanks in advance to the group.

Hi all, I am about to go on a FS2004 'spring cleaning spree', and i want to get rid of all the gauges as well as sounds and effects etc., which are now unused, that have accumulated over the years after ad-dons have been added and removed, and i'm looking for an appropriate program to help. I currently have two programs - the one included in 'Wolli's' Fluisfix, and Doctor Gauge, both of which of course only remove gauges, and indeed, Doctor Gauge detects 'old' gauges which i know ARE in use. Fluisifix just takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r and it also appears to come back with gauges that might be in use... I am worried that if i delete these alleged 'old' gauges, i may have issues w…

Hi guys, Just recently i have decided that the clouds i have in FS2004 are too blue in places - there is a slight blue tint in some clouds noticeable especially when flying over an overcast layer. I know that i got the textures from an add-on, but fail to remember which, it was definitely freeware though. What confuses me more is (at least i think) i copied all the default cloud textures and files from the MSFS CD, replacing what i had. It made no difference, and i know that the default clouds are much more light grey than blue (if less detailed). Does anyone know of this freeware set (maybe included in a scenery upgrade package that has this cloud effect) so i can rep…

After reading somewhere in Feelthere forums, that the Wilco E145 panel is not supported for use in FS2004 with Vista as the OS, I decided to install Bill Grabowski's ERJ panel in Project Opensky's model. The thing is that the sim's performance goes awfully down (from stable 30 FPS down to 10, 15 if I remove the yoke).
