Hello AllI am currently trying out two versions of the ERJ 145 one model by Dreamwings and the other by Posky.I have found a very good panel by (apologies for spelling )by Bill Grabowski, the 2d panel is excellent but the other cockpit views are rather poor and also include a rather scary looking co-pilot that stares unsettlingly back at you.I have managed to find some wingviews for the Dreamwings model,(thus eliminating the staring Cpilot)but as yet have had no success with the Posky variant.I was wondering if anybody knows of or can create some wingviews for me.?One other thing as well.With Posky ERJ there is no VC (i am not bothered about that)but there is a disembodi…

Hope someone has this aircraft and can let me know if you have the same strange issue I have.The aircraft is the BAE Hawk T1 as created by DSB. I am freezing in the forward-up view while on AP after a short period of pilot inactivity. There is no way other than restarting FS9 to get out of this. Restarting the flight does not change this. I am running XP, 2 gig RAM, 512 video, using a CH Products yoke and Saitek rudder pedals. Any ideas would be appreciated.Thanks

As soon as I release the breaks they start to taxi. Is there away to lower the idle thrust value, perhaps in the aircraft.cfg file. My Posky 737-700 idles at 31% for example. I'm sure that I managed to tweak something the past that sorted this out. Thanks in advance, Ren

My C drive is where fs9 resides. I have installed addon scenery, payware or freeware, in C as well as D.I'm running out of space. (80GB for each drive)I noticed that as soon as C was over 85% full, fs9 began to be unstable. I had to uninstall some great scenery to bring fs9 back to life! (such as the Netherlands 2000 scenery-29GB!). I have a 747 model that comes in a little hot and need to know about reducing AI aircraft landing speed. I have an instruction about adjusting the speed at which plane rotates, which is lowering the "reference speeds". Will this also adjust the landing speed?Sometimes it overshoots the runway and has to go around because it's still too fast on final. Thanks for any help.

i've searched the forums but can't find exactly what i'm looking for so thought i'd post it. most of my takeoffs are done manually but i tried using the TO/GA for takeoff in the default 747 { the switch is supposed to be on the throttle quadrant but i don't see it} so i use ctl=shift-G. i fly from the VC also. after i turn it on i get full power, pitch up and rotate then try to throttle back alittle but i still have full power. exactly how am i supposed to work this thing? are the auto throttles involved somehow? if so when and how to switch over and what about auto throttle settings as far as the TO/GA is concerned? any info at all on using the TO/GA would be a BIG help.…

Suddenly my right side engines stop responding to my CH throttle quad on verY short final right after after I turn off auto pilot and autothrottle to make the final touchdown. Happens on all planes and all flights, doesn't matter if it's 2 engine or 4, turboprop or heavy and only the throttles controlling the right side. I can control them using the mouse, but not the quad. Takeoff and Taxi are fine.Am I doing something wrong procedurally or should I continue to root around in my FSUIPC, and software settings. I have even gone as far as setting my default flight to the default cessna at KSEA, but no joy.I've never had this problem before and not sure what's causing it…

Everytime I accidently hit the E key in a jet, I only get engine 1 operating. I have tried everything to get the other engines working again but can't. I have to reload the craft to get all engines working again. Any thoughts? Maybe I have to turn off the E key in the assignments to stop this. This happen in both RFP 747 & default 737.JimCYWG

Hi everyone. I have been out of the Flightsim loop for about 12 months, with an unrepairable 8 year old computer behind me. Thinking that waiting for developments on the CPU front would be a good thing, I have been watching and hoping myself to death over the last year and still remain unconvinced that Intels Core i7 would eat FSX for lunch. Hi,I am not able to get into the follow mode. I am able to get into the walk mode but not in follow mode. In the ReadMe it is written I have to press Numpad* to get into the follow mode but I can not find such a key on my numbad. What key is exactly meaned?Thanks for help!

Hi all,I am having an impossible time trying to control the aircraft via rudder while taxing. Up until now I have never played the game with any wind but feel it is time to take the game to the next level. Obviously with any wind the aircraft is being pushed around. I am using the Microsoft Sidewinder joystick. I have tried adjusting the sensitivity with no results. Does one require rudder pedals in order to control the aircraft?Thanks for any advise.

Is there a way to NOT have FS2004 pause when minimizing the window or opening a new window. I would like to be able to fly while conducting other work on the computer but when I minimize or go to another window, it automatically pauses the game.

hey there...i'm currently using AFCAD 2.2 to modify my parking spaces...and the problem i'm facing is that i cant see the building structure.....i modify my parking spaces only to find out that some planes are actually parked in the building!...lol...and some taxiways go through the building....helpppp

Is there a utility or panel add on that will allow me to do this? Or maybe some way to configure the payware version of FSUIPC to do it?One of the main reasons I still use FSPassengers on almost every flight is because it allows me to do these simple tasks universally (on every A/C I have loaded up to date) using the keyboard, and therefore I don't have to madly left click or scroll with the mouse wheel on takeoff, short final, etc. just to tune radios or set my course.Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I've made up a snazzy glove with a push button on the tip and an IR LED attached. By using the IR camera in the Wii remote, and freely available software on the web, any clickable cockpit can be used with the finger, instead of moving the mouse.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLkfx6QxLfgThe video shows me using it in Black Shark by DCS, but over the weekend I fired up FS9 and was also able to click away in my cockpit, without using the mouse. For me, this really ups the immersion factor, and when used with TrackIR, gave me the ultimate flying experience.

So far I am impressed with this program. One question I do have relates to the X-Gauge feature. I am trying to figure out how to add an activation icon to a panel to open the x-gauge without having to go through the panel view menu option. Any ideas or suggestions?Dave

As you see from the shot here, i am no longer getting crisp lighting effects, im now seeing poor shading and texture blending in FS9.1, I have never had this problem before and i havent altered anything as far as i am aware that would effect this, so whats happened?

Although it's recommended to turn of FSUIPC weather settings with AS6.5, I seem to recall a post a while back that mentioned selecting one or two FSUIPC weather settings--believe it was winds aloft, in order to attempt to smooth out those wild shifts you see over the N. Atlantic and several other spots.I have registered FSUIPC.Any thoughts?ThanksR. Michael Perry

Can you recommend a good high quality freeware military helicopter? Either combat, transport, or search and rescue. I have been getting better at flying helicopters, but not really that good yet to buy a payware helicopter.

I've always liked the exterior looks of the lear 45 but everything else seems off when it comes to flying it. I don't care for the panel, sounds, flight dynamics, or sight lines/views. I can't seem to find any fixes that are satisfactory. I was working on a new lear panel for awhile until my old computer died taking Panel Studio with it. If anyone knows where I can find some upgrades for this plane it would be appreciated. Any thoughts? I'm tempted to get the new Panel Studio and start again. Would still need better flight dynamics though.Nate
