Hi, I have plenty of add-on planes, but am missing one to fit the STOL midsize twin catagory. Something like the Twin Otter. I do a lot of island hopping in the carib area, esp TNCM, St. Barts, SABA, etc...What is the most realistic and simulated add-on that would fit?I'm looking for high quality VC, flight characteristics, modeled systems, etc.Oh and payware.

I've been adding WoAI packages but have noticed a lot of bunched up planes at many airports. Some aircraft seem to be flying on the ground miles from the airport and arrive that way. Others are "three deep" like 3 planes in one when ready for take off. Many are in trail just feet apart. I installed AITM but don't really know where to start with it. I did disable the original FS9 traffic file before I started with WoAI. In the expert mode of the WoAI installer and I don't see any duplicates. I could really use some direction on getting my AI traffic working properly.Thanks in advance,Michael

I have the FS2004 installed on my 2nd HD (D), as it is not possible to install the 9.1 update, as I cannot use Cloud9 or DreamTeam, which requires this up-date, without removing the many add-ons I have installed over the last few years.Is it possible to install the FS2004 also on the "C "HD so that I can start from scratch , install the 9.1 update and then all the Aircraft, Airports (both free and payware ) Ground textures etc. Then remove the FS2004 from the "D" HD and re-install FS2004 on the "D" HD to it's present state as now, with the update before removing the FS 2004 from the "C" HD as I like to keep this for none- FS2004 files.I hope it is clear what my intention…

Is it possible to globally remove all of the autogen buildings but not any trees? I like to fly the Glacier Bay region in Alaska. Tons of trees look great but tons of buildings definitely do not.

HiWould anyone have the actual data specs and power requirements regarding the gauges used on a real 747 and also about the APU on what its max amp output would be at 1,450 horsepower. It is well understood that the APU can put out a lot of power but at same token it can only give so many amps as well. When I see the amp ratings on the CFG it is twice of what that APU can put out. Keep in mind that APU is only a 1,450 horsepower unit.Also would anyone know the precise bus ties each is linked up. We have 4 bus ties with 4 engine generators. So it would seem to me not everything runs off the main bus itself. Example nav lights, bus tie or hot line or battery line, ma…

I just installed X-Plane 9 this week. I have to say from the flight levels the textures look brilliant.And for those who haven't noticed my absence from the FS9 forums, I have FSX installed and it's been running well on the system I purchased at the beginning of the year.FSX/Tileproxy--what a combo--a smooth 30 fps and the scenery looks as real as it gets.But my vote for the best all around sim--it goes to FS9. The smoothness, the scenery and airport detail, and the add-on support--it just doesn't get any better. I'm happy I held onto FS9....Regards,John

It has been a while since I have had to do any Flatten/Exclude in FS9....in fact it has been 3 years and yes I have forgotten how to do that..I am trying to remove a few buildings to place some new enhanced ones. All help is appreciated. Randy

Fired up FS9 earlier on, and discovered that all the aircraft lights are not showing up on the external model. I checked the effects file and everything seems intact, but they just refuse to illuminate on the models when I switch things on. Any suggestions?Al

I have an A318, and one or two other a/c probably, which, when the brakes are gently applied, react by bobbing up and down, along the fuselage axis, like one of those nodding dogs people used to put onto the back window ledge of their cars the 1970s. (perhaps some people still do)..Is there a setting in the aircraft.cfg file that I can change to eliminate/reduce this (I looked in Aircraft_Container_SDK, but didn't see anything - could have missed it), or is it part of the aircraft mdl itself?Thanks,Martin

Hi,Captain Sim has lowered their prices considerably, so the FS2004 Pro-pack and F-block cost now 20 euri together.Is it worth the 20 euri?Captain doesn't have a splendid track record so to say...I have the both CS727 and the Hercules. The 727 is regarding the flight model a total disaster, regarding graphics there is simply no better.But this is true for almost all CS releases. Graphics wise the very best, everything else a lot worse.So how is the 757? Worth the 20 bugs? (incl. FMC)Egbert

Missed u all :)I got myself abit of a problem, and I was hoping there is someone on this vast forum who can help.Im using PS737NG panel, which was recently made freeware. I mainly fly SAS 737-600's and found that panel to be very nice..apart from 1 problem.When fueling my plane i have fuel in all 3 tanks, Mains and center tank. But the panel only drains fuel from the wingtanks, leaving my engines flaming out with over 4000kg in the center tank. I cant make my panel using all tanks. Ive read the manual and I have all pumps on on the fuelmanagement, but still the same problem.Anyone that feels they c…

I have an embarrasing question regarding an error I made when trying to view an airport AFCAD.bgl file. Today I was working in adding the correct gate sizes for the Beijing airport (ZBAA) scenery made by FRF studios. For some reason when I was saving my changes it opened a different folder for another airport. As I tried to locate where that file was, I opened the Properties folder, and it directed me to its location. When I opened the file, I got the window that tells me that whatever I was using to view it, could not open the file. I obviously thought that only the AFCAD utility could "view" it, so I selected AFCAD tool to open that file with. Now, all of my AFCADs list…

I am running Windows 7x64 and FS9 and all my addons work really smooth, never had it so good.The one problem I do have is FS Passengers this causes FS9 to crash on loading.Does anyone know of a fix or a workround.Check FS Passengers site and their support don

ok, I have bought FS9 THREE TIMES yes I have 3 copies. over the years.I was ready to do a fresh install of FS9 again this morning...only to discover that some of the guagues would not read off of cd 2 - well since I have another cd2 I was able to get through cd2 - then came cd3 - it wouldn't even read cd3 from my newest fs9 so I installed an old cd3 - got through there just fine..then came cd4 - I HAVE 3 CD4'S and NONE OF THEM READ... !!!and that is why everything is so odd. they used to work years ago.. ?? but now?IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO..? or try?thanksBS

I notice in the spring/summer visibility at cruise altitudes is diminshed by haze (thin white veil vertically and along the horizon). Is there any way to eliminate haze? is there a file within textures etc that controls it? I run AS6.5 and run the visibility out to 40nm and uncheck the FS9 haze layer. I also run Flight Environment, GE Pro , and Real Environment which has given me the best combination of ground/cloud/water/runway textures--take a look at the pic...cruising at FL260...clear skies with unlimited vis (it looks like I'm flying over an overcast but it's the haze)...thanks.R.Perry

Using the Kittyhawk 737-700 with SkyDecks Panel.On appproach with full ILs, or not, the GPWS starts going off. I looked at the PFD qand saw that my radar alt reading was over 400' lower than actualaltimiter on the PFD.Had same results at Three different airports.Sad to say that I had already deleted the PDF file for the panel and also attempted to get one from the panel site, but appearsthat when you make the purchase the pdf is embedded within the exe file somewhere.I looked at the cfg file, but saw nothing on the radar altimiter or it's values.Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks,irish3

I have a Willys Jeep with and without top and with an officer driving it. Can't remember where I got it from (Not Radar O'Reilly), however it has no texture. I have looked in many FS Web Sites and have not found one yet. I want a typical old military one.Anyone help?

If you install the 777 SP2, will you need to install the SP1? Or does the SP2 have what the SP1 contains?Will you need to install both or just SP2?
