After installing PSS 757 v1.3, another window opens and says "Increase FPS fixer for PSS 757 v1.3" and says locate the dsd_xml_tcas.dll and dsd_xml_tcas.ini and I have specified my FS9 folder, but it has [error 7:Fix did not finnish correctly. Please check your path and try again!] I remember. Are these in the modules folder as the "help" button says or what because I searched in the modules folder and these 2 files are not in there

Please may I have straight forward instructions on how to merge the PSS 77 panel into the POSKY 777-200/ER plane. Please, one that works on APP and catches the G/S and LOC etc and works good.Also then the 777-300/ERs thx. :(

Any good engine shimmer AND exhaust to recommend? Please give me links. Or please give me some ideas on what to search or which ones will look good, or just give me your opinion. :( Thanks. I have 2 gig of Kingston HyperX DDR3-1800 and want to know if an extra 2 gig of this same ram would help with FS9 frame rates. My processor is a Q6600 operating at 2.6mhz. I think I read somewhere that you can only use up to 3 gig of ram and that's all that FS9 can utilize. Do I need to go in and change anything in fs9 for me to take advantage of the extra ram!? Anybody shed some info regarding this?jack

I've had this a/c for while and went to fly it yesterday.I noticed that there are no panels visible. Shift+1,2,3 or 4 don't show anything. The panel folder is present and the cfg resides within. The a/c cfg does point to the panel folder.I even installed a panel that I use quite often..still no joy.Also, the animations for the doors do not work. Flaps, props, lights all work...just no doors.I've just installed the v1 upgrade too.Any help will be appreciated.KJ

Anyone run across this with capt sim?I have been trying to redownload the Legendary f-104 that I purchased 2007-07-11 06:07:37 and lost the drive it was on. I had installed it a number of times previosly always on the same pc, just on different drives as I was setting up my system the way I wanted it. After the drive crashed with the f-104 file on it I have contacted capt sim's (customer service?) about it filled out service tickets only to have them cancelled becasue they claim they have answered the question before. evening everyone,After much debate, I finally switched from my old XP 32bit to the new vista 64bit.So far I can only be pleased with the step taken. Fs9 runs great and most if not all addon's work as before.Almost I say because I have a problem with two addon's.Both are from WILCO/Feelthere. As I see it from my perspective, both the airbus vol 1 as the vol 2 give major headaches.From the loadmanager, setting the busses up for a cold and dark start doesn't work and when I want to shut downthe aircraft, I get a crash to desktop.I have tried to do a reinstall, running fs9 in winXP compatible mode, shutting down UAC, installed them againwith and without administrator rights..…

Ok to make a short story long :( I had my own defualt traffic and some UT schedules mixed in with WOAI scehdules and WOAI planes. So I decided I would clean it all up and use only the wonderful WOAI traffic and some of my own custom made (using stuff here at AVSIM) traffic for some of my missing airlines. It was tedious but well worth it.My traffic is looking awesome now with one fault. Lack of GA traffic now.How do I get the defualt GA AI traffic to return? My samll airports are looking bare.My old traffic BGL has UT stuff in it with GA traffic. This has been a hard problem to try to figgure out so I have just been living with it. I have a new 3-26 inch LCD monitor setup with a new computer that has three video cards; one for each LCD monitor. I 'm using a "wireless" Microsoft mouse. Sometimes I receive a "message" that the receiption of the mouse signal strengten is "low" then the message will go away. I start a flight using the B-200 King Air with a LEFT, Center and Right views on three differant monitors. Most of the time I leave the mouse "pointer" in the CENTER monitor and most of the time I don't have this problem and then again I do.... it comes and goes, at will. Newbie alert!I notice filenames in some of the FS9 subfolders that suggest FS9 contains images for vehicles, baggage carts, ships, and other things. Can I make use of these, adding them to their appropriate places of operation? Or does FS9 make them appear on its own?I would also like to populate my sim skies and airports with specific aircraft (MD-80, 737) painted for specific US domestic airlines (American, American Eagle, Northwest, Continental, Jet Blue). I've searched the forums without sucess so I'm hoping that someone can help. I'd like to make landing / taxing on water easier i.e like taxing on land. Can anyone help with this request. I'd love to fly more float aircraft but the trouble is the taxi portion of the flight. I've tried various different methods / lessons of taxi on water and still struggle.Many thanks in advance. Jez.

Strange issue: When I cross the Pacific (east or westbound), FS9 pauses briefly every couple of hours with that "Loading Scenery" dialog box. Not a big deal because the pause only lasts a millisecond, except for the fact that it sets my clock back an hour every time it does it. By the time I arrive at destination, my FS clock will read 5-6 hours ahead of what it should be depending on how many times the loading scenery dialogue box popped up. So, for example, if I am supposed to depart RJAA at 0900Z and arrive KSFO at 1800Z and the dialogue box were to pop up 6 times to load scenery over the Pacific, my clock will read 1200Z on landing, even though my elapsed flight t…

What is Max_throttle_rate (autopilot section)? 0.1=10% per seconde increase and decrease? If I change this to 0.03 will my PSS POSKY 777 merge work on ILS and APP when gear and flaps down? Low Speed, and what are the gs_...... (autopilot section), are they glideslope, groundspeed or what? Will these affect the POSKY PSS 777 merge for ILS and APP? Thanks.

I currently do not have any scenery enhancements for FS9, but would now like to purchase a select few. I have read previous posts regarding FsGenesis terrain mesh and for the most part have found very favorable responses. However, there appear to be a number of flightsimmers who eventually removed the terrain mesh due to its resulting in numerous elevated airports, lakes, etc. A common thread seemed to be their utilization of the 38mm terrain mesh. Has anyone utilized a lesser detailed mesh from FsGenesis (i.e. 76mm, 153mm, etc.) to determine if there may be an optimal balance between improving the FS9 default mesh while also minimizing the elevated airports, lakes, e…

Until this afternoon, things were fine: I often had S-Combo running ATC chatter in the background of my flight, which made for a more realistic (certainly less 'lonely') atmosphere. Then I lost all the sound on my PC - not sure what happened - a hardware glitch probably. It corrected itself after a reboot and I carried on.Now I find that as soon as an ATC chatter wav file starts up, any ATC message is immediately silenced. I've just left an ATIS announcement running to test, and it is cut off every time a wav file is played from the S-Combo software. Hi allThe other day I downloaded 2 Files from the Library:a300b1_for_fs9.zip andbeluga_for_fs9.zipAs soon as I load them into FS9 they immidiately crash. Unchecking Crash in FS makes them load OK, and they fly well.I think the problem has something to do with the Contact Points. But how do I know what values to insert. Do I just experiment with the numbers until everything is OK, or is it possible to measure the correct values somewhere?NB: Be aware to install the Files into a Temp.
