Hey Guys,Currently having problems with the Imagine sim Newark scenery. What happens is i see the default newark scenery as well as the addon scenery, i will include a pic below. If anyone knows what to do cause i really want it to work. Cheers

HiI downloaded and ran the FS9 9.1 update several months ago, but my version of FS9 still says '9.0' even though I do notice all the bridges and all now that werent there before. However, when I go to run the 9.1 update it says that the sim has Already been updated to 9.1.I found all this out after trying to install the FSDT KLAS package for evaluation and purchase. Of course, the installer stops immediately and says that 9.1 patch has not been detected. Any ideas, as Im stumped.thanks for any ideas!

i recently switched over to fs9 from fsx cause my computer couldn't handle the newer one, and i have some questions;1. Whenever I right click to bring up the menu, the screen goes black for a second. This didn't happen in fsx. It also happens when I bring up the kneeboard and hit ALT for the top menu. It's kind of annoying- is it just me or is this just the way fs9 is?2. In fsx there was a view option where you could get spot views of nearby AI aircraft. Is this not in fs9, because I can't seem to find it.3. good day guys..i would just like to ask how to include add-on aircraft that i have downloaded into AI flights? I have downloaded several aircraft and i would like to see them also when i play..i can only see the default aircraft when i play..thanks!

I notice FS9 uses some defualt aerial photo sceneries for the major urban areas in the USA, which are displayed in the top-down mode (CTL+S). They also appear in the Scenery Library. Are these bitmaps? Where are they located in the directory structure? Has anyone had any experience with photo-editing them to make updates and corrections?

Hello fellow simmers,I just bought the 757 Pro from Justflight. The aircraft looks fine as well as the systems. However, I find it somewhat harsh on frames. The manual states there is cockpit tool with which you can select a 2d only setup. Unfortunately the tool doesn't seem to be within the installation anymore.Does anyone have an idea about a manuel way to remove the virtual cockpit?Best regards and thanks in advance

Hi guys,I'm experiencing blurry textures in FS2004, I see blurries further a away whereas the immediate area around the aircraft is fine. I know there have been so many posts on this and I've searched them all and nothing has helped me. I downloaded the Piper Cheyenne MkIII version 2 aircraft from the file library and installed it to the instructions contained within. When I load the aircraft neither the cockpit or VC views are there, so no panels or gauges at all. Transparent aircraft is unique and the view outside unparalleled, though I don't think that's what the author intended somehow.Any ideas how to get my gauges back? I did try loading the C172 first and then switching to the Cheyenne, but no change. I have several other add-on aircraft installed without issues.

I seem to have horrible luck when it comes to graphics in my computer applications, especially when it comes to flight simulator. I am only capable of running flight simulator with frequent stutters and low frame rates (locked at 25, but I maintain 24.9), even with the graphics sliders turned all the way down. I'm getting a CTD every time with this airport after around 45 seconds. All I have installed are the WOAI packages. It also doesn't matter if I enable scenery for the airport or use the default.Can someone look at the default ZGSZ scenery and tell me if it has jetways included? I'm thinking that there's some scenery file hidden away somewhere that's causing the problem. If ZGSZ by default is not a detailed airport, then I know that's the case.thanks

OK..I was flying around the Columbia River in my favorite Carenado 182 and , walking by, my wife has asked a very good question to which I do NOT have a good answer. Why are they called wheel 'pants' instead of 'shoes'. :( Now it seems to me that is a very intelligent observation. In fact they DO look more like shoes than pants. If they were really pants, then wouldn't the "legs" have farings as well? Maybe they should really be called "socks." Wait-- she just told me, no they can not be socks because they do not cover the bottom of the 'feet' (wheels to us). I downloaded the file ; embraer_erj_190_jetblue.zip from the library. The only thing wrong with the aircraft is that the taxi and landing lights wont show up in the cockpit view. If you go to the spot view they both show up fine. Is this something that I can correct or is it inherent it the air file? Bill

I decided to install FS9 into a spare PC and the installation went thru OK but when I selected "Create a Flight" the screen where a selected aircraft should be shewn was black. I tried uninstalling and reinstaloing but still the screen remains Black regardless of what aircraft is selected.I would be grateful if anyone could offer either a explanation and/or a solution to solve this problem.ThanksGeorge

I saw a link by fs....something (I think) that upgraded the runways lights. I forgot if it was payware or freeware, any clues? I think it was by fs publishers or something, not sure...Any ideas?Any free ones?

Whats the current best scenery for LCY?I have the old UK2000 "London Airports" that has a half-decent LCY but it's getting a bit dated now.I've seen the Visualflight London scenery includes an LCY airport. Is that better or worse than the UK2000?Are there any other alternatives??:)

Several months ago while downloading recent updates for my Adobe Reader, I noticed that it automatically disabled or damaged my Air Editor 152. Normally I would run the program to have a specific AI Aircraft available in the Flight Simulator menu to make it "visible". Now, when I RUN the Air Editor, all I get is an icon window tab that shows the picture of an aircraft icon, plus the letter "U..." (untitled - AirEd) and the Minimize/Maximize boxes and the "X" (close box).Normally when I would RUN the Air Ed I will get get a list of items, and the one I will always use was line "152" (I think) where I would change to numbers 0 or 2. In AFCAD I am trying to make a new parking spot at a airport, I slew the plane to where I want the spot to be, then hit the "o" key to make the spot but the spot is not made on AFCAD. Why is this not working? What should I do to fix this?I tried to make a spot at other airports but it will not work at other airports either.

Hi,I asked on the Level-D forum, figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here as well. Is there a way to use the mouses tracker ball to pan the 3D cockpit.For instance, if I move the mouse to the right, I want it to pan right, if I move the mouse toward me I want it to pan down, if I move the mouse away from me I want it to pan up, and if I move it to the left I want it to pan left.ThanksMike

From all of the pictures I have seen from the downloadable aircraft, I have seen that some people have really nice graphics for their simulator. What are some of the good add-ons to improve scenery and graphics for Flight Simulator. I have a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600 Graphics card and I have downloaded some freeware add-ons such as FS Water but would like to know of good add-ons that I can purchase to improve my scenery, land, etc.Thanks.
