I'm not sure if this is the proper place to post this but does anyone have ANY of the airport scenery on the right of this web page tucked away on your hard drive or in you backup CDs that I could get from you? (I have an FTP site for free large file transfers available, so emailing isn't particularly necessary.)<< http://www.avsim.com/greece/scenery/index_main.htm >> I only need FS9 stuff and I have I can't BELIEVE I never downloaded any of it - I looked at it enough times but until recently my VA never flew there so I didn't want to invest the time or resources to install any of it. Looks like the time zones are still not completely accurate. I have the newest FSRT 1.88 and I'm showing Africa is off by 1 hr (Casablanca and Dakar, at least) Other areas are correct. I guess with different times of the year they may be correct and then off at other times. It's never been totally accurate but I guess I lot more so than the stock FS9.

After buying this add-on and finding the FDE totally unacceptable I made a few modifications. Now the plane is able (of all places) to takeoff successfully from Emma Field on both runways. I beefed up the engine with a 6 cyder option and made other mods here and there. I still can't figure out why the gear is so tight where the aircraft excessively bounces upon the smoothest of landings but with my mods here it's better than before (I made contact point adjustments). In my plight to resolve the landing hear problem I edited the 'Landing Gear' options in the '.air' file comparable with the Caranado Mooney. I'm not sure if this is a question better asked in another forum but here goes...I use FS9. My home airport is Atlanta-Hartsfield. I currently have an add-on that I acquired through AVSIM that enhances the airport experience with new taxiways, gates, etc. However, when looking at the parking list when "creating a flight" at KATL, the number of gates in the game are not present there. I have an AFCAD editor and have looked at the file that I am using for KATL. On the display, I see all the parking spaces and gates but in the parking list, they are not all listed. I take it that what shows in the AFCAD editor for parking list is what actually is shown in the game. Ho…

UT USA and Europe installs and functions fine with Vista 64, however, after the initial install, I get an error message when attempting to run the UT texture configurator (in order to set night lighting, pavement contrast, etc) for both USA/Europe. I've got all the admin rights etc etc set up correctly in vista, have tried it both with WinXP compatibilty checked and unchecked etc. Other than locating the actual .bmp texture files within the bowels of UT, and copy/paste in FS9/scenery/world/textures, is there some way to make the UT texture configurator work?ThanksRich Perry

Thinking about adding some photoscenery to FS9 and wondering what works well (aka FPS and presentation balance). I've got UT, GE Pro, Real Environment and FSGenesis already installed--are there any conflicts with those programs? I'm running with 60FPS locked and all sliders maxed to the right--getting amazing results and smoothness. I run AS6.5 and SB 4/Track IR in the background. Fly PMDG (all), Level D, PSS 757, and Wilco most often. I know there were major problems with the site for a while, but now it's been a LONG while and haven't been able to get into the file library for quite sometime. The last message I saw was that it had mostly been restored, and that was a couple of weeks ago. I've had to turn my attention to 'flightsim.com' which isn't my preference but at least it works. Should we just not count on the AVSIM file library anymore?

Now I'm really frustrated. I switched to Vista 64bit, My system is ATI 4870X2, 4GB, High end.I flew for 10.5 hrs and got OOM just about 10nm final.I used fs9 with PMDG 747 + ASV6.I did expect it with XP but with Vista ? Any tips ? I do try to stretche it to the limit.Ittai.

Just curious, are there any other scenery (Payware or Freeware) that have individual '3D' street lights like those in Ultimate Terrain? Too bad there's no UT for the Asia-Pacific region.

HelloHaving tried and failed to get world of ai and project ai working on my computer ( I have vista). I have resorted to thinking about bying an Ai traffic addon. Anybody know of a top quality addon software with realistic models and up to date re-paints and schedules?In terms of quality, Ultimate traffic II looks amazing. But, its only for FSX. Why dont they have an FS2004 version?If anybody knows of one. I tried downloading my traffic 2006 from simmarket but they dont sell it anymore. Last night started a transatlantic flight (KIAD-LSZH) with the PSS 777.Once at the first cleared FL, I switched to 4x simspeed, a thing I normally do on any long-haul flight of mine, which never gave me probs with any other a/c I've flown with (PMDG, Level-D, Wilco/FeelThere etc.)As soon as I switched to 4x simspeed the 777 went crazy, immediately losing altitude, pitch and heading control, despite the A/P and the A/T were still active.Sim-wise speaking, I went back to normal speed, switched A/P and A/T off and regained the control of the a/c manually (although hardly fighting against the out-trimmed horizontal stabilizer), after the 777 had lost 10000 ft of altitude in a…

Hello all,i am just wondering if fs2004 INCLUDING ALL ADDONS are running under Windows Vista with no problems. This is because my Flighsim has now seen over six years of modding and I don`t want to do this again with FSX. If it would be a problem running FS2004 with the addons on Vista then I will not change my OS.Does somebody know this?mixen82

Default FS9 Baron.load Cold and dark (saved flight).Start port engine. OK.Shut it down (pulled prop and mixture to minimum).All switches off.Cold and dark at the gate.Then, I cannot start either engine.I cannot figure out why?

It's been a mystery to me how European owners of FS9/X handle flight planning when not flying in the US. With sites like Flightaware.com only covering the US, is there some other site similar to Flightaware that handles European flight planning?I'd really like to do some European and Asian flights, but wanted to stick as close to real world planning as possible.

I installed vfr the netherlands from Horizon.But now my virtual earth (that is only the Netherlands) is flatten, no more autogen. Sliders of course are alright;Where is the problem?

Every time I create a flight originating from my usual departure airport - Raleigh/Durham, FS9 sets the active runway to the same runway - 5 Left - every time. Actually I think the prevailing winds cause more takeoffs and landings to be occur from the other direction - 23 Right (same pavement, different direction) so I'd like to change which rwy is assigned active. Also, one of my usual destination airports has the same "problem." Rwy 9 is always active, never Rwy 27.Is there a config file that enables me to change the default active runways for both airports? Or can I only do that by going into custom weather and specifying a different wind direction at both airports bef…
