There are times that I enjoy using my FS9 Traffic View Board (put out by MRAI) to just watch the traffic coming in and out of an airport. But I was wondering if FS automatically swaps sides if the wind changes, i.e. changing from 19 to 1 at DCA, or does it just keep whatever the is seen when the airport is loaded?

Hello all, im not sure if i should be posting this here but i need your help on a couple of things about cs 757. The first question is why doesnt the fmc allow me to punch in the code for palma, lepa, the second is when steering the aircraft it seems to drift and i seem to be oversteering to get it back in contol(while on the ground). Has anyone else had these problems and have you overcome them?Many thanks for any suggestionsChris

Not sure where to post this, but I'll ask here first.What I would like to do is add in some VORs and airway intersections into the default FS9 scenery. How do I go about this? Do I need some kind of BGL compiler, or is there a simple text file I can add things into?thanks

Hi thereFirstly I would say my problem lies with the Maddog 2008 engines in fs2004.I am aware there is a specific Maddog forum but as I am not a member over there I will try here first.My problem seems to be always with the left engine during the takeoff sequence.After a succesful engine startup of both engines and all systems running fine I taxi to my cleared runway and begin my takeoff roll but around rougly 80 knots the left engine completely shuts down and loses all power.No warning messages are given the engine just shuts down.I have followed a startup sequence from a video on youtube and also an improvised sequence and a simple ctrl-e.The problem is always the left …

Hello everyone for quite some time now I've been wanting to taxi to the runway/land/take-off etc whilst on the wingview ,for example I ALWAYS use the DBS Walk & Follow Module in my FS2004 and I always press the (/) button to activate and de-activate DBS Walk & Follow Camera module when FS loads the flight.Now I would love to be able to press (/) and then position myself on a wing view with DBS Walk & Follow ,and taxi to the runway and take-off whilst on the wing view ,I really need to know how to create a little box in say the right hand side of the screen showing the plane from behind ,so the main view would be the wing view taking up all my monitor and the l…

On the inclosed photo of a Garmin 500 GPS it shows a flight plan from, KSNA to KAJO but there are so many waypoints that you can NOT see the last ones on the list. Is there a way to SCROLL down to see the rest of the waypoints that are not visable? Thanks jerrycwo4

I just recently finished a vatsim event, and I had a great time. This was not my first, but I did notice something for the first time.Almost all the other players' aircraft were painted with a "VIP" livery. I assume this is because I don't have the livery in my library for that plane and carrier. Is there a way for you share temporarily liveries when in multiplayer so that you don't just see a whole bunch of planes labeled "VIP"? It kinda pulled me out of the feeling of being at the gate and seeing other airlines parked, taxiing, or preparing for take-off. Is there another solution if you can temporarily share liveries?

Go to the Fort Worth Star Telegram and look at the clip on the F-16 Flight Simulator. If we each had 120 computers, we could join in on the fun.

As far as I have been able to find out, my best bet for getting a good 777 would be to get the PSS one and merge it with the POSKY models.Are my assumptions correct on this? Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?thanks

I'm currently running an ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2.0 that has 2gb of VRam on it. Does FS9 actually utilize all of it, or, do I have to force it to use more somehow. I've noticed that FSX has a bufferpools setting in it's config file, does FS9 have something similar or do I simply adjust all the sliders all the way to the right and hope for the best :)Please advise and thanks!Mark

Have been using CH Pro pedals for the past six years or so mostly with only minimal hassles. But after my latest reinstall of FS2004 and reinstall of the pedals (& yoke) plus axis assignment and calibration (using FSUIPC) the differential brakes indicator is always on and the brakes do not release. I have tried all the suggestions I can find on the web (of which there are many - this does seem to be a common problem with these pedals) but none work. The only solution has been to completely disable the toe brake feature of the pedals and assign brakes to a button on the yoke. I suppose what is going through my mind is that there may be a hardware problem with the p…

Does anyone run with no page file. I tied it with FS9 running, ai smooth, AS5 and going to the web a few times during the flight and I used no more then 1.5 gigs of ram. I have a core 2 with 4 gigs of ram.Flight was from CYWG to Flin Flon, Manitoba. XP still pages but I have it set to no page file.JimCYWG

Is CORAL or IRIS F-15 better? IRIS has the air intakes going downwards in tight hig-G turns...Is this real? Causwe the CORAL F-15 only has the air intakes down on the ground and they don't move in flight when you do tight turns.So which ones better and more real?

Which is the best scenery for KMCO Orlando?I've been using the SimFlyers V2 scenery, but I'm thinking this may not been the one that's best, what about Mach 1? I know Cloud9 made an FSX MCO (Wish they did FS9, or this wouldn't be an issue). but what's the best bet?Opinions?

Hi,I got an issue with FSAI explorer, namely distance to destination column. It used to work fine with my previous system, but now it shows immensely longer distance values of AI traffic planes than it should (thousands of NM instead of a few NM). The column next to it (distance to user plane) is working correctly. Apart from video card and hard-disk changes nothing else has been added to my system. I re-installed FSAI, but no luck.Regards,Sotiris.

Hey Guys, I got the PSS 777 a while back, but now I saw the Posky 772/ER and it looked like a good model. I sucessfully loaded the panel with the plane and made some changes to the config, so it would match the plane performance. The one thing I am having trouble with, however, is the autothrottle system. When I go and do my takeoff roll, the TO/GA arms and the A/T engages fine, but when the thrust limit is 99.3% N1 for example, the N1 will go to its maximum value about 110 or so, and bypass the commanded value set in the FMC. I did, by the way, change the value in the config, but it still goes past. I was wondering if anybody knows what the problem is here and if it …

Hi guys, does anybody know if there is a fuel planner for the beautifull 757 which tells you the percentage of fuel to load and that gives you the zfw. I know there is a brilliant one for the 737 by Milan Puta but i havent come across one for the 757. Can someone help?

Hey guys,I was wondering if anyone is running Eaglesoft's Citation C550 with Vista 32-bit. When I switched to Vista ES C550 would load but after a few min I was getting a CTD. That was the only A/C that happened with so I deleted the A/C. I would like to reinstall it and use it again, so I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with it. Thanks all.
