Is it possible to add a Satcom antenna on the top of the ariane and PMDG 737-700?

if it's not one thing it's another. I've just about given up on the Saab issue. I tried to go fly a Dreamwings Dash 8 and all worked fine (aside from the bouncing which i didn't fix yet) when all of a sudden for no damn reason at all, all my gauges went dark. Do EFIS, no GPS, no radios, absolutely black nothing. What caused this? This isn't the only plane it's happened to. It's happened on another saab panel (actually two different ones) and it's irritating me to no end. I fly for United Virtual and it seems I have to keep cancelling my flights because of these technical errors. I've tried to fly an EMB-120, but couldn't because it would get past 60kt, I couldn't r…

Throughout the years I've been using FS2004, I've noticed that the biggest frame-rate killer on my system is ai traffic. The more traffic, the slower my FS runs - but I like having lots of traffic.I've now got another pc spare, and I've got it networked to my FS computer, and I was wondering:Is it possible to run FS2004 on both computers, with the spare computer doing all the hard work of calculating the traffic data, and somehow feeding that to FS2004 on my main computer so the ai traffic is visible as if it was multiplayer aircraft?Or is there any other way of achieving the same result (short of buying a new computer - that would be nice, but I can't afford it at the mo…

I came across some freeware from PTSim, (http://www.ptsim.com/), and was wondering which of you simmers has it installed. I own FS-Global and was wondering if it is compatible. What I'm really after is it's landclass but not it's elevation if possible. Well, if anyone knows anything about this freeware package, please let the group know, (and me too)!Mark

Not sure where to put this, since it's a standalone add-on, but:I finally decided that the development release of the "Open Source Regional Jet Glass Cockpit" (as it was once called), is ready for the world to test :( :It's a standalone package, intented in first for home flight deck builders, but it may be useful for others as well. Features fully functional PFD, ND and EICAS, with moving map and FMS through FS2004/FSX' built-in GPS.Get it from the OpenRJ website or get the binary directly. A registered FSUIPC is required.Full documentation and the message boards are still in the works, but content should appear there in the coming week.

Hello.I'm wondering if anyone might be able to answer a question for me regarding the DJC Airbus A319 AI aircraft. It seems that the version I have loaded wants to land WAY short of the runway. (I think I also have a Southwest plane that does this as well but I'm not sure which one right now.)The first line in the aircraft.cfg file says "DJC Airbus A319 FDE December 2007". Does anyone know if this was a known problem with this version and is there a newer version that might fix this problem? I took a look around but didn't find one.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

Hi, to complete my AI cargo collection, I'm looking for an American Airlines freighter. I see screen shots from time to time that have them but can't seem to find them. Any idea? Also would like a United Airlines cargo AI besides the DC-10 model I currently have. I know these airlines must have some cargo planes. Thanks for any help.

This has already been asked on the maddog forums and no one had a viable answer (everyone pointed to the AVSim library for a livery that was made by Roberto Fusi). Does anyone here happen to have that livery package where someone can download it? I've tracked Roberto Fusi back to an Italian site, but the file isn't available for download there either and I don't speak Italian to ask.Apparently the file everyone is looking for is named: Texture American Airlines 1.04.zip

Hello all,I'm not exactly new to the forum, i just dont post much, but i have been working on an improved afcad file for FS Dreamteams JFK scenery (greastest ever!). My main problem is terminal 4. I am trying to accurately assign airline parking but it is hard because i know for a fact that at terminal 4- as with the others - airlines have preferred parking spots (i.e concourse B/ or A) . So here is my question for any of you in these forums who have detailed- or better than average- knowledge of the airline assignments at JFK's Terminal 4; which airlines have special preferences as to which gate or councourse they park at, and what are those preferences?Cheers ;) ,

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,I recently bought myself some new hardware and decided to try out the Windows 7 64 bit Release Candidate.All I can say is, that the performance is really good. Better than I anticipated. But here is my problem:When I first installed FS9.1 everything was fine. With stock scenery and aircraft the simulator runs with no problems.Next I installed Ultimate Terrain and it was still all fine. Active Sky 6.5 and ASA run without errors.Then I began installing some of my add-on airports. Several German airports worked fine. Hello All,In case you haven't seen it, the new Duchess for Flying Club is available for download and purchase. So far it looks pretty well done. I'm having a few night lighting issues with it but, I imagine JF will support it as they have done in the past. If you are a light twin fan, I'd say you ought to look at it. It includes both the 2D and 3D panels, and is better priced than the last FS9 small plane released for FS9 ( which by the way STILL has trim issues).Have fun all,D Baker

Hello to all Is there anyone out there who can tell me , when one down loads a aircraft sound file , is there not a way to , instead of pasting that file into the relavant aircraft file , to rather paste it into the main sound file and some how alias that sound file to the relavant AC , Why , well lets just say i have 5 A340 AC , all AC have the same sound file , and it just cogs up hard disk space. So having just one sound file and alias that file would really save a lot of disk space .Please be patient with me as im kinda new at this sort of thing .Regards

Hello,I downloaded the PS Panel for the 737NG on FlightSim.com but my problem is that the switch for the red and green nav lights also turns on the strobe lights (there is no separate switch like the default FS panel). Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Also, the panel has disabled my control of the lights by using the keyboard (eg. if i type "L", the lights will not turn on/off, it must be from the panel.) Does anyone know how i can recover control of my lights using the keyboard?Thanks.

Larger AI aircraft (737, A320, etc) at KSNA land on the smaller 19L runway, no matter where they arrive from they will not use the longer 19R. I remember from another forum awhile back that this was a known issue and possibly hard-coded into FS9. Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I have tried a few things myself but to no avail.

I have tried many combinations of settings is FS9 and ATI CCC, but still getting bad anti-aliasing problems. My drivers were installed about 2 weeks ago (I downloaded the latest from ATI at that time). Has anyone had and fixed this problem with their ATI card? What have you got in you MIP Map, filtering, resolution, CCC settings etc??
