Hi, I'm trying to edit the SCEL2005 AFCAD using AFX so I can add more concrete area, taxiways, etc but when I go back into the scenery, none of my changes show up. Looks fine in AFX but no changes in the scenery. Never ran into that before. Can the AFCAD be 'protected'? If so, how do I get around it?Thanks,

I spent two great holidays in Vermont & New York State, and enjoy flying the very accurate add-on scenery you guys out there have made available. However I have a problem with the Winooski River as you can see from the photo. I have tried every combination swapping stuff around but to now avail, anyone got any ideas what the cause is, I'd be grateful for your help. It's no big deal, but everywhere else the scenery seems perfect (except just over the USA/Can border) and it would look great to have the Burlington area correct. My question is, does anyone know of a good Autoland app that I can use in the CLS DC-10 please??I have one that I use for the 737 Experience and it works great for me and would love to have one on my good old faithful DC-10. I want to run FS9 on windows XP and also keep my vista OS. Can I partition half of my hard drive and then install XP on that, then install FS9 and all of its addons?

Is anyone else having problems with this aircraft? For instance my TCAS doesnt work and to load the plane and panel properly, I have to go into fullscreen mode to get the panel unfroze then back into windowed mode. Anyone else having similar problems?

hi guys,i'm wondering, is there a software whereby global scenery, both for airport and land scenery, can be added to FS2004?for example, I stay in Singapore and naturally, i'd like to fly in and out of Singapore Airport. But the problem lies with the scenery. the airport does not have gateways at the terminals and there are still a lot of old cottages around the island. Old cottages are not seen here already as buildings here are high-rise buildings.it'll be troublesome to add in scenery for each individual airport one-by-one by getting those free add-ons. don't know if there is a packaged add-on for these sceneries.I've looked at Fly Tampa scenery but they do not have S…

I occasionally find that with individual forums on AvSim, I only get page one displayed with no option for the rest of the pages. The other individual AvSim forums seem to have no problem. Later on, they are present. Yesterday (I think, may have been before by a day or so) this happened with the fSX Forum for me. At the moment, it is the case with this forum. Hi,since the file library is still in the process of being put back online, I'd like to know if there is a way to obtain the HNAC A300 + panel/patches. I'd like to fly it in American Airlines colors before the actual airline will retire the Airbus on August 24th, 2009. I checked both flightsim.com and the HNAC homepage, but I can only find pieces at best.If there is no website where I can download the complete set, would somebody please be so kind and send it to me? :(I'll give you my e-mail addy via PM. Is it possible to get an entrie that gives my aircraft realistic wingflex, like for example, looking at my A380 Overland Wingview id expect to see it bouncing around abit more than its stiff static state.

have this problem with autotower: "fsuipc connection failed; IPC senmessage failed all retries"tried searching the net but cannot find solutions; i am not very knowledgeable with advance tweaking when it comes to computers. anybody who may know the problem and the solution?thanks.

Okay a few things i need to check...1. I have downloaded a POSKY 737-800 Private Jet, Can i use the PMDG 737-800 Panel & VC with it?2. I have seen in some Screenshots inside VCs that you can Centre the view meaning your in the middle of the cockpit and not in the captains seat, it looks quite good, how do you do this? Example:

i have a problem which i am not sure which: my joystick; my configuration or my computer.i am using logitech attach 3 for fs9 and for some reason, i could not turn left or right with any plane. but in slew mode, i can slew it left or right. when i am on air, i can turn the plane towards the left or right. it's only when i am on the ground that i cannot turn. so this doesn't seem to be the joystick problem. but i also tried flying with google earth simulator and i get the same problem. i cannot turn the plane on the ground, which means that it could be a joystick problem. i have tried calibrating the joystick, i have tried deleting the fs9.cfg file but nothing works. i wou…

I guess it is related to AI traffic, but:is it caused by a faulty flightplans.bgl or a corrupted texture? or something else?My traffic is carefully maintained using ACA2007...Anyone with a suggestion?ThanksGhiom

I found a DH114 Heron aircraft for FS2004 recently that seems to be pretty good except for the awful panel that come with it. All you get is an HSI (which I doubt the 50s era plane was ever equipped with), an ADF, engine gauges, and crude throttle levers. While it might be possible t fly the plane with this, it's hardly realistic by any stretch of the imagination!I could really use a replacement instrument panel (if not an actual DH114 panel, then a panel from any 4 engine prop plane that might work would do in a pinch)!

Hi, Just wondering if anybody knows of a way to fix the seemingly excellent NZCH (Christchurch, New Zealand) scenery by Ian Warren?. The file was downloaded from FScom, but I got another earlier version from here (AVSIM). The problem is I have a building crash everytime I try to load into NZCH, no matter where from. It would be a shame not to be able to use this scenery as it seems very decent is quality and the deault is not very appealing. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance for your help,regards,MacsP.S.: I'd like to not disuse crash detection...

I've got a few problems I could use some help with! One that I've actually had for some time now in FS2004 (I it's in FS2002 and FSX as well) is that all the default GA AI aircraft (but not airliners as I recall) fly around in pairs! In the air both are only a mile or so apart and about a 1,000 feet apart in altitude from each other. They taxi around airports in pairs (one behind the other and a few feed apart), too! It's like one is sort of a "ghost" image of the other. I"m using Ultimate Traffic with all three FS versions (UT2 with FSX) so this might have something to do with it. However, none of the UT AI aircraft exhibit this weird phenomenon, only FS default AI…

Sorry for the longish post but please bear with me.I've been getting some random crashes of FS9.1. I don't think it's my new computer hardware as I always get the message "Flight Simulator has encountered a problem and needs to close." This, I believe, indicates a problem in the programme itself.I think it's scenery related and I had two crashes during a short session last night, one in the PMDG 747 when I changed view to look out a side window and one in the Mooney Bravo when I called up the map for the second time. HiI am interesting in this plane for FS9. May I ask a few thing:- overall fps and smoothness/stutters, considering there is only a VC and no 2D- start-up options: can you start with the engines running and the IRS/FMC aligned?- flight dynamics: realistic?- FMC: how much is it detailed: CI, pseudo-waypoints?- wing views?- compatibility with active camera- is the V3.5 (for NG and -900ER) much better?ThanksGhiom
