Since avsim is DOWN!!! Can someone please give me the overland PSS A330 merge that was on the site if they have it?Or CLS/PSS merge...A330/A340 thxWhat do you guys think? Project Airbus or Overland A320 better model?

Hello,I have used Aircraft Analyzer for a long time and it has the function to identify repaints that are not used in a flight plan. You then have an option to delete the repaint and remove it from the aircraft.cfg. It is a great tool but it can take a long time to do just one repaint because it has to reload everything after each edit.I was wondering if there are any other tools out there that are similar but speed up the process. If I had to guess, I may have 1,000 unused repaints sitting around.

Hi all,I've just installed Trackir 4.The software and hardware run beautifully, the heads in the Trackir display move the way they are supposed to but I get absolutely no result in FS9.Looking at the Trackir window while in FS9 everything appears ok. It displays FS 2004 next to "current game" and indicates it is tracking, but still no effect in FS9. I have disabled active camera in case there is a conflict but to no avail.Can anyone help?

HII know that this forum ,probably is not for this type of questions, but I think from this forum, maybe, member can help me.The problem is that almost always I have CTD with fe.dll and usually around BERTA intersection (around LOWK). Sometimes I can hold at BERTA for hours without crash, but sometimes I have CTD and allways with fe.dll message.Mem usage is increased around 1100000K VM SIZE. Hello all.I have recently experienced FS9 crashing at the same place on five occasions. Both on a LAM3A STAR just West of the LAM VOR. I've never really used LHR that much but since installing AES version I decided to fly there.I don't have this problem when RWYs 27R & L are in use. FS clearly dosn't like me landing on 09L/R from the north.Has anyone got any ideas?I haven't attempted any other arrivals other than those mentioned, only LAM3A to 27R & LThank youALW

I have purchased FS elemental natural pack and I see that FS elemental intense pack has been released. I don't understand how they differ. Is it an upgrade? What does it offer that I don't get in the natural pack?

I am a big fan of the IFDG single aisle Airbus range and absolutely all my "Little Airbuses" used to be IFDG. But I have recently discovered the Project Airbus range of single aisle aircraft and the first thing that caught my attention is the stunning visual model that they have designed. But I find their aircraft to fly incredibly differant from IFDG's models and frankly it just doesnt feel right to me. I installed this free little program "MZ CPU Accelerator" 3.1 on my Win XP 32 bit with FS9. It is supposed to maximise the CPU to the foreground application. My first testing seems to show an improvement. The terrain in FS9 definitely looks less blurry to me (I have unlimited fps). Give it a try...

This is for anyone, such as myself, that still has FS2002 on installed system (since there isn't a FS2002 forum anymore I figure this is the best place to post this)? Do you recall having any problems with it freezing up on you in spot plane mode? Several times, lately, I've had this happen or seen the frame rate drop to near zero for no good reason for what seemed like an eternity (but was probably only a minute or two) while in spot plane mode. Please be aware I have been tweaking FS9 since the day I got it 2004. The latest updates and driver updates have been affecting my system in a negative manner. My latest graphics card update causesmy system to crash while the one released earlier in this year, my not be as clear, but never crashes the system. My monitor was updated several times in the last year but I checked it last night and the update was from 2001. I told the system to look for the newest update which was already sitting on my hard drive from a recent download. I bought this plan and found it to be a pretty good design. I've also seen freeware like the TBM-800 that has potential to give it a run for it's money. O.K. as you guess I'm a little aggravated here... What irks me is how we can have a payware design these days released $21.00 with no VC night lighting. The window texture is overly done to a point that if you tried to fly this bird at night the dome light washes out the windows where you can't see out at night. Many if not most of us use ScanAFD to find duplicated airport information is FS9. I did a scan for duplicates this morning and noticed a whole bunch of files, (listed as duplicates), that had titles such as OBEF8 or OBEF8OBEF8 or OBEF8OBEF8OBEF8...and the list goes on. Well, I've always seen these listed before but never had the where-with-all to ask what they are and if they have any effect on FS9. Anyone have any idea? Also, I'm using ScanAFD version 1.1 and was wondering if there is a more recent version of it or possibly a replacement. Let me know your thoughts and thanks!Mark

Everyone,Is there a convenient way to find sounds or panels that are not aliased to any aircraft? I have many that I think are no longer needed by any aircraft and they are taking up valuable disc space.I used to use JAB2000 for this purpose, but I can no longer get the utility to open.Thanks in advance for your help.gwillmot

Hi Guys,I was looking at my FS9 main folder and seen I've got several total of 3 Scenery CFG files They are as follows:New Scenery.CFG (Which has just updated with me adding new scenery)Old scenery.CFGScenery.CFGMy question is do I delete the Old Scenery CFG and Scenery CFG and then change the New scenery CFG to Scenery CFG? I've noticed that later two have not got in my Naples scenery just added but the New Scenery CFG has that's what made me think about deleting the other two?? Besides those I've got other Scenery CFG Files which say (Scenery_CFG_Before_Madrid_2008_was_installed) and other Scenery CFG relating to AES can all of these be deleted? Or do they need to be ke…

Hi allI have been thru the forums about CDT , OOM etc etc but didn't find a solutionI don't understand why from time to time my FS9 kind of freeze but not completly. The sound can still be heard normally but the screen freezeand the mouse cursor can barely been moved and is changing very fast between the arrow and the hourglass.If i restart FS9 it does not work , i have to restart the comp.All other things on the comp are working without a problem once FS has been shut down.I runned windows manager, cpuz and speedfan when this happen and all parameters are ok except that the cpu has a 50% load in windows task manager until i shut down FS.I really don"t know where that mig…

Hi All, A quick question in relation to ATC in the hope that someone can point me in the right direction. Is it possible to change the wording within ATC in FS9? For example when ATC says 'line up and wait' can this be changed to say for example 'Line up and hold' a simple example but can it be done by changing the transcript files if there is such a thing? :( Many thanks in advanceNBQ

Hi all!I have just purchased the PDMG 737NG 600/700 and tried to follow the quickstart flight fromstart to end. I believe I do everyting exactly according to the printed quickstart manual that followed inside the actual product casing but when it is time to start the right engine nothing happens when I switch the right ignition-knob to GRD (and the switch ENGINE START to IGN R is already set..), the engine simply doesn't begin to spool up. However, at this moment I instead tried to start the left engine using the same procedure and then everything seems to work, the engine behaves exactly according to the manual. Ive got blocks in the sky at night. Like squares in the sky all different shades of black. And on the ground, well it looks like this:-That's with IBIZA Sim wings addon. Happens at the Mallorca X too.Any help?IanEdit update:-This seems to be a night issue with textures that im having! HelloCan anyone help me with my strange FS problem. After a while, but not always fs will randomly change to the screenshot where the menu bar is gone. I also cant open anything else on the coputer, and when you do you here the bong noise when it wont let you do something. Fs still works for a bit but then you have to restart the computer because FS locks up. This has only just started happening.I dont have DBS walk and follow installed either

ok...so heres a picture of my moon.As you can see it looks like a Borg Cube...also tire smoke and contrails make my plane disappear in the location where the smoke/contrail passes over the plane...any ideas??Matt
