can anyone get a overcast sky with Active Sky 6 I have been trying the last hour. :( :( :(

How can I make ALL runways including crosswind runways active for player and AI traffic to use at different airports?

I'm having problems with kdfwv3.zip By William Morgan dealing with RWY 18R/36L for a ILS approach and it happens everytime with any aircraft I use.When I try to capture the ILS beam and click the approach mode and the autopilot on a RWY 18R approach the aircraft makes a attempt to capture then veers off to heading due N away from the airport, this happens everytime I try to use that approach, Is there a update for that airport or can someone help resolve the issue?Also is there a way to make all the runways active?If you need a copy of the afcad to see if ya'll can fix the issue let me know I'll send it to youThanks I appreciate it

Hi Guys,Sorry me again as you guessed am not the best person at PC's. Again I've read several messages about people deleting the FS9.CFG file and then when starting FS2004 it rebuilds another one. Could somebody just explain the benefits of this please? And like me I've never done this is it good to do it every so often? Any help / advice appreciated.Can anybody recommend other things that are benefical to FS9 as far as making it better. I'm not having problems was curious as have seen others run various things and that's what has made me think.RegardsJason

Hi,I emailed the author some days ago and as yet have not had a reply from him, so I thought that I would post the same question here to see if I can get things going a bit quicker.The information I am after is as follows,Are both the Boeing updates and Airbus updates suitable for use with the latest version of the Overland packages. Hi Ive been having trouble with CTDs.... After everything has been loaded and clicked fly now and the aircraft is on the runway, If I want to change the airplane it crashes to desktop and comes up with the error message from microsoft.... Can anyone give me some information how I can stop this.Thanks Phil

Hi,Like some others have experienced with Cloud9's KLAX scenery and Norton Antivirus, it "discovered" that the bglman.dll file is a "trojan", and it rendered the scenery inoperative. I tried doing a repair on the scenery, and now FS9 does a CTD upon load attempt. So, I uninstalled KLAX with the uninstall, rebooted my machine, and FS9 still crashes on loading, with no warnings/error messages. I have since excluded both FSX and FS9 from Norton's prying eyes....too little too late perhaps....Does anyone have a solution to this problem, without having to do a complete uninstall/reinstall of FS9??!!! I have so much customization involved that it would take me at least a we…

Since avsim is down I can't even get CLS/PSS merges, can anyone PM me them if they have them?And is the PSS/Project Airbus merge just copy and paste? I've never had any problem with fs9 - untill now. I've been tweaking the cfg as you do. Just trying some graphic changes to get a little more out of it. I didn't think anything drastic. And it seemed to be better but all of sudden I find now that it will ctd when I click the fly now button.The sim loads fine. Can access all the options. Hi Folks:Not sure where to post this. I am waiting for a reply on the simulator forum, but I know AVSIM members have all the expertise!! :( I just bought the Legacy. On a recent flight tracking a flight plan with FMS engaged, the aircraft goes into a steep bank with loss of control when approaching a waypoint that will require a large change in heading. I need to disengage autopilot to regain control and try to recapture tracking. This has happened several times. I read somewhere that if the the joystick is disabled during FMS tracking there are no over banking problems. Seems rather silly to have to lose all joystick features like views just to prevent over bankin…

Recently, I started actually flying my complicated airliner addons, such as the Level-D 767. However, while entering the waypoints into the CDU, I got into trouble: often, there were multiple waypoints with the same codes, and often these were of the same type (all VOR, for example). All the FMS gave me was their latitude and longitude, but this is not given by the default flight planner, and so I find myself in trouble. So, what I want, is a flight planning utility that shows me the latitudes and longitudes of the waypoints so I can determine the correct waypoint in the CDU. HiThe title says it:I have a sidewinder pro (7 years old), registered FSUIPC set with automatic taxi wind control (ie set at 1 knots) and use the default fs9 winds.During taxi, while I am going straight, sometimes, randomly, the A/C turns violently to the right and it takes me quite an effort to bring it back. I notice at that time that rudder has gone full deflection.I happens similarly on all airplanes that I own.I checked with no winds and it happens the same way.I checked without enabling the joystick (CTRL+K) and it seems to disappear.I tend to conclude it is a faulty joystick sending spikes.What would you suggest to conclude on that?ThanksGhiom

On many of my planes when I'm in the 2d panel and press shift enter the adjustment might be more than I want. Is there away to have it adjust in smaller increments?

I'm having problems with fs9 locking up or freezing when it gets to the initial load-up page. I just put my new computer together and installed fs9 installed fs9 update 9.1 then loaded FScene mega pack, FSGenesis terrain mesh and UT USA & UT Europe. I started fs9 it had no issues I was checking the scenery out in the default Seattle area and notice the harbor downtown had buildings in it, so I shut down fs9 adjusted UT USA and restarted fs9, I did this about two more times and that's when fs9 would lockup on the create flight initial page, i wouldn't have the normal cessna airplane there it would be just black where the aircraft would be. Hi.A couple of months ago I made these new cockpit views for the PMDG 737. I was tired of the "plastic looking" default, through which you could hardly see the ground. I recently bought an external hard drive (1 Tet) and would like to backup my FS9 installation.I was thinking of copying the whole FS9 directory to my new drive.In case I have a catastrophic hard disk failure, and I replaced my hard drive,would I then be able to re-install FS9 from my original disks and replace the FS9 directory with my saved copy?Is there anything else I need to save?Thanks for any advice.

Hi.In order to get a neat little seatbelt button (connected to your FSPax seatbelt sign) next to your PMDG 737 seatbelt-switch do the following:NOTE: Before fiddling with the panel.cfg make sure to make a BACKUP of the original file!1. Okay i just went to use my Overland A330-300 VC Mode and all loaded but the textures INSIDE the VC are all grey, basically the same kinda thing youd get if there was an error with the texture for an airline...Cant quite work out why this is!!!! Driving me mad!And what the hell happened here in Vienna??!!

It seems like most of the Japanese and South Korean VORs and a few NDBs are missing in FS9, anyone know of any addons or how I can add some myself?
