Hi All,I recently started experiencing that once I replay flight recordings through FS Recorder, the ailerons start jittering for some strange reason. This had never happened to me beforeand I don't know what the Solution is to this.Also, my standard N1 for idle thrust in each plane is around 30N1 which does not make any sense.Are there solutions to these problems?Thanks and the best,James

I have a new computer with FS2004 on it and I just now purchased and installed Active Sky 6.5. For years I used AS V. I'm not sure which is the CORRECT way to use AS 6.5. Maybe some of you old hands with it could straighten me out.1. Do you start it BEFORE or AFTER starting FS2004?2. Once it loads do you "minimize" it or do you "close" it ?3. If you use one of the "random" cloud programs, do you have to "reload it" before each and every FS2004 flight?4. What happens if you load one of the cloud programs once and do NOT call up AS 6.5 on future flights? Will it keep using the last selected set of clouds all of the time?Thanks, jerrycwo4

HelloI don't know to convert txt or pdf to htm is their a tut on how to do this?Many downloaded aircraft have the htm checklist requirement in the *cfg file, but most downloaded checklists are in phd format?Can you edit the *cfg file to display pdf within FS9 kneeboard ?sorry Im thought jumping all over the place.Gerry Reid

Hi Gang.I had a hardware hi-cup a few days ago, and have had to re-format and re-install Win XP Pro. I have done this and installed all the usual things such as MOBO drivers, sound card, graphics card etc etc. I then installed SP3 and ran the MS Up-Date etc.I am now running a fresh install that is fully up to date and want to put FS back on.Now, before the Full re-format I made a copy on another internal HDD of the COMPLETE FS9.1 folder, not sections or parts of it, but the whole thing.My question is this. Can I install a fresh copy of FS9, then add the 9.1 up-date and then fire it up to make sure all is well, then delete the newly installed one and replace it with the Wh…

Hey does anyone know how to make the HTML. files to use in the fs9 flight knee board .Im trying to produce html files to use within the knee board to view flight plans , runway frequencey and, runway headings! Is there a certain SDK or extension file i need to create these files? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've just got this & cannot work out how to make scheduled flight plans. I was hoping to be able to make my own but only seem to get a drop down list to choose from. I want choppers to fly from Victoria BC to Vancouver (for example) so can it be done & if so HOW? By the way - if you've not got it then I can only urge you to. It great! Thanks.

After numerous changes tomy hard drive I have recently reloaded my FFS Saab. As I lost my original E-Mail with the disk failure, does anybody know whwere I can get the key to run the gauges. I am operating the aircraft on a different pane at the moment. Also is there a Rex repaint available on any sites.

Hi all,First let me say thank you to all of you who helped diagnose my problem with FS9 over the past month or so. It has finally been resolved. It was a bad memory stick causing endless .dll crashes, and now I am up and running again, so THANK YOU!!Now for my question. I downloaded the Dreamwings Dash 8 and so far I really like it, especially the wing views. I also downloaded the dash 8 panel, specially for the dream wings model. When I start my takeoff roll, somewhere around 75-100kts, my nose gear starts bouncing uncontrollably until I crash. Its like I'm driving a gansta car and bouncing down the strip!! :( Does anyone have this model and know how to fix it, or …

Just downloaded Project Airbus A319 for my FS2004. Very nice aircraft to watch, but I guess the FDE isn't perfect. I have tweak'et a little bit, and think it fly quite well know. But one thing I can't figure out to change, is the max N1 % throttle. With full throttle, it only shows about 82-84%. It is not a hardware problem, because my other planes don't have the problem. I have also tried to fly with the default B737 panel, but that's the same. Where in the *.air or aircraft.cfg do I change this?And then N1 with throttle max only is 82-84%, does it mean that it only have 82-84% of the engines max thrust/power? I've just purchased LSGG about 4 hours ago. I can start all of the other installers I have from the fsdreamteam except the one I need. Anybody had the same problem. I try opening the installer. windows asks me if I want to, I press yes and the installer stops. I've tried opening as an administrator. didn't work. Is it just my computer and should I forget about it?

In FS9, when I click on S or Shift S, the program will not change to the external view. It stays on the Panel view and when you click on S the screen distorts for a split second and stays in the Panel scene. Also, the scenery outside freezes up. I have deleted FS9 as well as deleting from the Registry amd reinstalled and the problem remains. I am at my wits end because I like to flip back and forth. I am running MS Vista Ultimate 64. I have a nVidea GEForce 8800 GTS video card, 4 GB of memory on an Intel quad core running at 2.83 GHz. This started back awhile and I have not been able to figure out why this problem exists. I started getting BSOD's when booting my CPU and after a running some tests I found I had a bad stick of memory. Now that the memory problem is fixed I'm getting terrain.dll crashes! I haven't changed or added anything new and honestly have been soaring along with the same setup for quite sometime. Can bad RAM corrupt dll's? If I install the original dll from my Fs9 disk will it cause problems with add on scenery? Is there any hope?

HelloThis is my first post in the AVSIM forum, I have recently run into a brick wall :( with regards to using ATC in Flight Simulator 2004 A Century of Flight aka FS9. On my desktop.Anyway ATC was working nicely until last night when it stopped working as expected. The problem:When I press the "tilde ~" key the ATC window opens, and I can hear and see "text" ATC broadcasts from other AI aircraft. But I do not see any menu options to confirm with ATC what I wish to do. If I press "1" knowing thats what I would normally do. Request a departure straight out. This works and is acknowledged by Ground.My problem basically is no ATC menu options in the ATC window. I've attached …

Hi EveryoneIm having loads of problems with FS9. Ive just installed a new scenery on FS9 and now getting this error message "You do not have permission to install files on this computer. Please have an administator log on to complete the scenery installation" however i am the administator on the computer and running as administator on fs9. Why is this doing this!ThanksPhil

While flying Chicago this evening, I discovered the Sears Tower had apparently packed up and moved away. Not sure what happened, but it's gone. Can anyone advise me what FS9 disc I might find it and where to re-install it to? I disabled the KORD scenery I recently installed to see if that would bring it back, but it didn't.Thanks,KP

Hi - since the reopening of the library (FANTASTIC WORK, GUYS!!!!), I cannot find this file - "actigs13.zip" - Wayne Hsu's Active VHHX IGS13 & ILS31 for default FS9 GPS system.It was uploaded to the AVSIM library on 3/29/2005. I have not been able to locate it anywhere on the internet. I got the link from http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html about 3/4 of the way down the page. Does anyone have this file?? A few weeks ago I could have sworn I saw some payware scenery for KISP. I thought it was BluePrint Simulations or FSDream, but I can't find it on either of their sites.Anyone have any idea what developer I may have seen this on, or is this a figment of my imagination??If figment, can anyone point to any good quality KISP scenery out there?Thanks!
