I have run into some trouble with a few of Holger Sandmann and Jon Patch's fine sceneries. I am using Victoria+, Vancouver+, North Cascades, along with Ultimate Terrain USA and all of the available patches I can find to make them compatible with each other. But I am still getting double shorelines in and around these sceneries. The entire area of Vancouver has double shorelines and the San Juan Islands and most of northern Washington has double shorelines that begin just north of Seattle. Any suggestions?Thanks to all

i am using the Flybe summer 08 flightplans off flightsim.com but i am not using the aircraft that it suggests, i am using different repaints. When i load FS9 up the flights are not there and i think its is because im not using the recommended repaints, so i am wondering how i can edit this data (below) to match the repaints i have? and secondly what the AC#1,285 part means?AC#1,285,"Flybe DeHavilland Dash8-Q400 - Revised livery, colored dots on front"thanks

Hi.Is it possible to separate the I traffic. The traffic tend to come very close on final, so if it is a way to maybe put in 7nm that the traffic need to hold from another traffic?Sorry for my terrible enlish:). -Thanks

Hi all,I currently use Vista and, when I add scenery to the 'Addon Scenery' folder and restart FS9 it works. However, after this initial time it disappears. I think this could be because I am not an admin on this computer, however turning User Account Controls off is not an option. Is there another way to install scenery (i.e. manually)?Thanks, :(

Hy guysI was trying to merge the A330 CLS using the PSS Panel but I cant get it.The UPPER ECAM shows me the indication of 4 engines instead of 2 and this is the only problem that I have all the rest works fine.I downloaded and installed already this file from Avsim library (http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004acrp&DLID=108519) but the result was the same.Does anyone know how to fix this little issue?Or somebody knows where I can get the solution?Thank you in advanceRegards

I know the AFG one, thats a great addon, but since I only like to fly my airliners from the VC, I like to find a Caravelle WITH VC...Anyone know were I can find a Caravelle with VC for fs2004???Best RegardsPer

Hi All.I was wondering if anyone could help with this at all.I am trying to find out which one of these settings makes the scenery seem clearer. It doesn't look terrible, don't get me wrong, but I have had it looking much better than it is now before the format. Good morning to all.A simple question.In an airfield with 2 parallel runways, one of grass/dirt/gravel/concrete/etc. and the other of water, is it possible to make AI traffic land on the water runway? I keep trying to install FS9 on Vista, but everytime I try, when it gets to installing the .cab files off disk 4, I keep getting an error, telling me make sure my HD isn't full or the file isn't in use. It also changes with each install, the errored file...well, no way those files can be in use, and I have 300 GB free on my HD. How can this be fixed?

I wish this wasn't so complicated. A few weeks ago I installed Freight Dogs on a new computer. While installing it, it asked me if I also had FSCargo. I answered, NO. Later on, on this form I was advised that it be nice to have all four of them installed so I UN-installed Freight Dogs, bought FS Cargo, installed FS Cargo, then today I re-installed Freight Dogs. When reinstalling Freight Dogs it again asked it I had FS Cargo and this time I answered, YES and it showed me a bunch of files that it was getting ready to install. I just saw this on Avsim's front page and really wish the developers would have taken better screenshots! The scenery looks like it might be pretty good but the screens are horrendous and makes me wonder if thats what I'll see on my CPU, I mean does it not work correctly with AA or AF? This isn't the only time I've seen this with 3rd party devs, I just don't get it.

I have downlaoded loads of AI aircraft off WOAI and when ive loaded it up all of the AI aircraft are doing visual approaches and landings. Does anybody know how to make them do ILS landings? thanks

I've been having an issue with a number of screens in FS9 and was wondering if anyone else has also. Maybe someone has even found a fix, (I'm hoping), so it here's what is happening in case you're interested...When ever I start FS9, the loading dialog appears with a skin at first. Windows then does a screen refresh and the dialog is still there, without a skin. The dialog title is displayed as well as it's progress bar which shows the loading progress correctly, moving and updating it's value. This issue is that the rest of the dialog's bitmap is not visible, it's just black as the background after the refresh.The same behavior is happening when ever I do anything in the …

I'm making some progress. I did see (when you enlarge the "map" a good bit) that you can place the arrow on one of the runways and it will show you the desired ILS freq. This is a fairly easy "workaround". When the ILS freqs are listed on a airport it looks like they have been typed on the "note pad". Is there a notepad somewhere with in FS2004 that I can go to and reinter the missing freqs are do you have to do that AFCAD stuff. I'll have to take the 5th on this one. I don't know a AFCAD from a Coke machine. Some of the very kind people on the forum took the time to give me very detailed info on how to do this, and I have SAVED this info for a "rainy day". Hey can anyone tell me how to merge the Project Opensky aircraft with the Captain sim panel for the 757? Ive tried to use the CS757 panel in a Opensky 757 and the panel didnt seem to load right! The IRS system did not work properly, the fuel quantity gauge that reads the total amount of fuel is displayed on start up and you should have to turn it on. The flight deck lights(flood lights) dont turn on properly. Here is how ive installed the Aircraft-------> All the info from the CS 757 aircraft config has replaced the Opensky info from the point of (General) on down, electrical-autopilot-contact points ect. Ive replaced the Opensky airfile with the CS757 airfile. All im …

HiI have the VFR Photographic Scenery from when I had FS2002 Pro I now have FS9 and wondered if and how I can make it compatible.I was looking on a certain auction website and found exactly the same product but saying will work with 2002 and 2004?Does anyone know if this is possible or am I looking at having to buy the newer version?Cheers

Hi has someone found a good aircraft model for Project magenta software.?Im looking for a B737-700NG model,,, using the default aircrat allways uses up too much runway, even changing the fuel weight and total aircraft weight it still has wrong V speeds and rotation speeds PM may say it should rotate at say 135 kts but aircraft will go on to 155 kts + before rotation..thanksDave

On the other hand, the more answers, the better!I've read the FSP tutorial on payload modeling but find it difficult to understand (sorry, Dan). The explanation provided there still seems a magic for me (defining contact points, CoG calculation, etc.). I have installed Aircraft Container Manager to help me with payload modeling routine but again - since I don't understand the magic hardcoded into FSP payload calculations, I cannot use it effectively.
