Hi All.I having a bit of trouble with FS9.1 and nHancer.I have a profile, but I think I may have messed it up, but it's OK as I had a back up, but, this was before my re-format and I have now got a nice and clean new system and the version 2.4.5 of nHancer.I am running the 190.38 Nvidia drivers for my Geforce 7800GS graphics card.Would anyone please be kind enough to either post their settings for me please, or even better still up-load their Profile. I can always make a back up first.Anything to smooth out the jaggies in FS would be nice, and sort out the slight shimmering that I am seeing which doesn't seem to be altered by going from 4 to 5 or 6 in the settings mip-map…

Hello,This is a two part post, first I would like to know what the best program for making flightplans for fs2004( other than its native program) is - payware or freeware it doesn't matter.Next, the MAIN reason for this post is becasue twice now i've tried to fly from VHHH to KJFK -14+ hrs- using the CLS A340-600, and over the Arctic somewhere I run out of fuel- It doesn't make sense considering I left all the weights set to thier default value and and the fuel tanks to 100% so my range should have been at least 7000nm. I've read the manual & have it working but cannot get sole use of landing spots for scheduled traffic. When setting up Landing Spots the manual says this (Caps are mine) ; " Landing Spot Properties......To prevent the RANDOM traffic from using the landing spot, enter 0." I have BUT I've watched scheduled choppers on the spot with 90 mins of parking time move for a random landing heli. I've got 0 Movements, 30 Min. parking time, 90 Max. parking time for this spot, so I'm wondering if this is right? I've also seen RANDOM helis here when I thought I'd reserved it for a scheduled heli.The next para. down has "The Min. parking time and Max. parking time settings…

Can someone tell me the process of putting pdf files into the kneeboard? I know it has something to do with converting the pdf into text or something but im just stuck. I usually print out some of my checklists but it gets snnoying so i just want to kneeboard them.

Fellow aviators,Given an airplane that shows its center of gravity indicator outside of its weight and balance envelope, is there a way to adjust either the .air file or the configuration file to make the center of gravity be within the W&B envelope? The airplane is the POSKY CRJ7. Great looking airplane, but its center of gravity indicator is on the nose, outside of the W&B envelope. When I fire up the Garmin 530 that is included with Flight One's Piper Meridian the start up page following the self-test page says the cycle is 0208 which is obviously way out of date! Can the 530 database be updated to the latest cycle? If so, how?Also, can the topics listed on the AUX page's three subpages (Flight Planning, Utility, and Setup), be accessed? Again, if so, how (or was the AUX page included just to torment users)?Scott

I just downloaded Lester Pearson Airport by Dennis Di Franco. I've made several flights to this scenery and noticed that there is never any traffic at the airport. would like to know how I get AI traffic to populate this airport. Is it a matter of adjusting the traffic BGL file and if so, what's the best way to do that. I'm using a custom traffic file that was made by a fellow simmer using WOAI and Evolve AI packages. The sceney also has a custom AFCAD. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bill

I notice a lot of traffic on the new Zinertek Ultimate Water Environment for FS9. I have an older set of freeware textures that I changed to years ago. I can't recall whos they are any more. They are working very well for me but seeing all the recent hype on payware stuff I am wondering if I am missing out on something.There seems to be lots of comment which is obviously about individual tastes. I am big on bush flying and floats, like my water to be less glossy than appears in some of these commercial sets. I have had a traffic swarm on every one of my last 5 flights in FS9.They really slow the computer down so much, I find myself in the Traffic Explorer window deleting hundreds of AI that are in the sky.On some flights I get more than one (max. 3) swarms.Does anyone else get this issue and know how to stop it from happening?

I know how to change the fuel/load etc for a flight. BUT- is there a way to either--1- Change the default fuel for all aircraft in FS9 to, say 50%. OR--2- change the fuel for a particular aircraft and have it saved as 'default' for that aircraft.3- both...

recently I saw a file on avsim that allows you to edit all of your aircraft in the AC folder to be visible at start up or not. I cant find it now. I thought it was something like "aired" or something like that, but when I search for it, it brings up a much more detailed program. the one I was looking for was a simple program that lets you select which planes are visible and which ones to make invisible by changing the .ar files. It was a simple few mouse clicks and your done type thing. Does anyone know what program/file I am talking about and know where to find it?Thanks!

Hello My FS9 falls into task bar as if I clicked the minimize icon on the top right corner in the middle of flight. It seems to be happening every two hours or so. Once it happens, I can go back to the flight by clicking FS9 in the task bar. Anyone has any idea what's causing this? It happens with any add-on aircrafts. I have PMDG737, 747, MD-11, Level-d 767 and few other. Also running Active Sky 6.5. On recent flight to KLGA (La Guardia) and London Heathroe there were NO ILS freqs listed under these airports??? They must have been deleated from where ever they were. How can I find out what the ILS freqs are at these 2 differant airport and "re-enter" them somehow, where ever they go back into my FS2004? Thanks jerrycwo4

I do not understand why my Flight simulator now going cases gdiplus.dll erorr I use windows os xp32bit never try vista 64bit is the same. see in some forum and I try to do it but also still remain. I have done re-install windows and flightsimulator me 3 times but always this problem that appears I've tried to clean from the virus. virus and naught but the results still have crash ... Just in case anyone runs into Toni Agramont's Caribbe South for FS9, could you please post a link to it. There is a listing for it in the Avsim library but the link is broken. I found an earlier version of it on flight sim but would like to get the latest if possible. I wouldn't want anyone to email it because its 17mb. Ok, I give up! Where's the radio stack on Flight One's Piper Meridian?! If there isn't one (and there doesn't appear to be one) how (and where!) the heck do you enter com or nav1/nav2 frequencies (without using the FS flight planner or FSnavigator)?Can it only be done through the Garmin GNS 530? I'm as much for realism as the next guy but in this case, I think Flight One went a bit over the top. If I wanted this much realism I'd go out (if I had the funds to get a pilot's license) and learn how to fly the real Piper Meridian! Is there a way to change one of my Level-D B767-300 aircraft into a United Parcel Service (UPS) aircraft. Or, does anyone make an aircraft as good as the Level-D 767-300 with a UPS model included, payware or free? The paywares are usually better. jerrycwo4

About 3 years ago I installed a program named "Freight Dogs" that gave you the ability to take freight from one location to another. It added a little something differnant to the small aircraft's flight. I fly mosty my Level-D 767 to and from Aerosoft's AES supported airports but then change up for a while I fly smaller aircraft. I had "Freight Dogs" installed on a computer about 3 years ago running FS2004. Last year I got a new computer and decided yesterday to reinstall "Freight Dogs" to it.
