Greetings flight simmersI was wondering if it's possible to add as AI a ground vehicle in FS2004. :( For example, I have an Rosenbauer fire truck, and i want to put it in an airport, making a come and go trip from one point to another in a taxiway.I create with TTools 2 "virtual" Airports, named point1 and point2 (with the coordinates of both ends of a taxiway), then I add the Rosenbauer to Aircrafts030528.txtThen with "Simple AI" i have loaded the Airports030528, the Aircrafts030528, and do the flight plan.Well, the Rosenbauer doesn't appear in the selected location. :( Any hints?Thanks in advanceBest regardsSparky

Hi GuysJust recently run into a problem with continual crashes of a/c when landing at LEPA. Not sure if LEPA is signicant or not, Probably not :( The only reason I say this is because when I reversed my route to my original departure airport, I didn't have any problem landing at all. I have to be honest and say that I have'nt tried any other airports, as this problem sort of got to me a bit and i wanted to try an resolve the problem. Btw, I was using the pmdg 747 400 pax a/c when this happened. Hi Guys,Would be very happy if someone could help me.I cant remember if my virtual cockpit has always been as dark as it is now or I have pressed come combination of buttons that has caused it. The problem is that all the instruments are very dim and difficult to read.I did a complete reinstall of FS9 but the problem is still there.I am only flying the 172 Skyhawk but I have checked and it is the same with other aircraft.It is a bit of a shame as I recently bought Flight1 Cessna 172r and the much praised VC is ruined.Am I as dim as my lights?Thanks for any advice.Chris

Hello everyone,Over the past few years I've been flying the Wilco Airbus (mainly A320), generally with much satisfaction (apart from the odd sudden engagement of the TOGA lock). What keeps me puzzled is the approach speed of this bird. The relevant page in the FCDU shows the VAPP, generally around 134 kts. One would assume that this is a calculated (advisory) speed, based on weight, wind data, temperature etc. However, when I use this speed on finals, it often appears too low. If on the other hand this speed is to be regarded as a reference speed, to which 50% of the head wind component should be added, the speed on finals frequently seems a bit too high. I have FS9 installed running optimally, I want to add FSX to my machine, is there anything I should be aware off in order to make sure there is no conflict between the two versions. Do I need to have them of different physical drives or will a different partition suffice? Thanks for the help!!!Richard

Hello guys, FS9 problems are common, but always able to solve, and now I need your help.Basically, my problem is in the FS9 Flight Planner which causes FS9 to crash, and I don't get any information of what might be wrong. But I have a few hints, since this problem only appears when dealing (in the flight planner) around Frankfurt airport (Aerosoft Scenery) and around Hannover airport (Aerosoft Scenery). Working close to these airports in the Flight Planner always causes a freeze, and then a sudden crash of FS9.I suppose it has to be a bgl or dll file coming with the Aerosoft sceneries that causes the problems, but at the same time, I haven't heard about any other having t…

Just noticed that at all my airports, Add-onns as well as standard FS9 airports no longer show the runway lights at night as well as the taxiway center guidance lights ...No idea how it happened, allways worked fine...Any ideas???Running Vista.Roy

Would someone please remind me how to use the keyboard to move the POV in Spot view off of the center of my aircraft for the freeware Recorder Module or DBS Walk and Follow? I'm in Spot view and I can pan around and up and down using the ctrl-sh-enter, backspace, etc., keys, but my view is always fixed on the center of the aircraft. I use the standard ctrl-sh-enter etc. view commands in FS9 -- I haven't changed them at all. Hey all,After a recent computer crash, and loosing everything, I started rebuilding my AI. Does anyone know where to find the AI Malcontent CRJ-200's, particularly in COA, NWA, DAL? It appears that those files are still missing from avsim. (consistently the CRJ's). I dont see any of those on flightsim either.Any others sources?As always, thanks!

I would like to correct the taxiway lighting at one airport. The airport is KCDW created by Ray Lunning and John B. Loney, Jr.There are no taxiway lights showing during the day but they are lighted at night. I will probably use EZ Scenery to add all the taxiway lights so they will be visible both day and night but need to remove the existing night lights. Can this be done with AFCAD? Michael

I just found a GREAT new program ( for Fs2004) by accident that's why I'm telling you about it. I fly the Level-D 767 most of the time but at times I break it up flying smaller GA aircraft around just sightseeing. Now I have a GREAT new job flying freight from place to place. I really love this new program. I have an older version of the FS2004 Freight Dogs that kind of did the same thing, but not nearly as good. It's cheap, about $20 U.S. Right now I'm flying freight around in a Cessna 182 but I'm looking for some version of either a UPS or other freight company's larger aircraft. Hello everyone.After being away from simming for almost a year i have decided to start flying. But unfortunentaly i can't enjoy any simming due to a very strange problem. After i installed windows vista onto my computer i have this problem, that half of my monitor is responding, and the other half isn't. It's only in FS. And if i right-click on my screen to change the view, it doesen't work either. I can select any view (spot,virtual cockpit...), but it just won't change it. Stays in my 2d panel and hangs. Thought it was vista's problem and so installed windows 7. Still, the problem is here and i have tried to find a solution but so far i haven't found one. Uploaded 2 pic…

Hey guys, I've just downloaded the MRAI flightplan installer. I placed the MRAI setup in it's own folder and began. My first message was an error in relation to file Msvbv50.dll which I duly downloaded and placed into the MRAI folder. My second error was "Make sure the latest version of TTools are located in the folder". This I have done and have set up the source files within TTools. However, even after placing TTools into the folder I'm still getting the same message "Make sure the latest version of TTools are located in the folder". :( What am I missing here chaps??RegardsFox

Hey everyone, well now u can see my specs.I have 4G ram, Vista 64bit, and Nvidia 9800GTX+.Basically I downloaded Nhancer, and Did everything like i should, but my AA still doesnt work in sim. No I didn't make any mistakes because on XP this used to work for me like a charm.Pretty much when I set my profiles, I never get smooth graphics in FS9....its all jagged.Any ideas?

I am looking for a scenery package for Tegucigalpa, Honduras. I have MHTGV2.ZIP, but strangely it does not have the PAPI's for either 2 or 20. Noe vertical guidance in the mountains, a big oversight. Any suggestions on good scenery that has the vertical guidance, and maybe as a bonus a decent rendition of the mountains on the RNAV02 approach so your not running into mountains (ala the default scenery)?Thx

I have installed quite a few of the outstanding gauges by Glenn Copeland but am having trouble with the Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum and the contact address of the author [email protected] is being returned as non-existent. Does any one have this gauge in operation who could assist me?Using FS Panel Studio to assist I get the information that XML gauge file "RVSMgau.xml" info file is 0 bytes in size and that RVSMgau_Icon (which should be built into it) is an invalid gauge.Most possibly the problem rests with me for lack of experience and expertise. Hi All!Decided to put some AI traffic while i play my recorded flights in order to improve the feeling of my screenshots.Everything is perfect while i am on ground i play the recorded flight and if i dont like the positions of the AI aircrafts i am rewinding the playback a little bit until i get the shot i want. the question is that i would like to have planes landing as soon as i start my ai...Is there any way or i have to wait until a scheduled flight comes for landing?p.s. i havents decided on a package yet i am testing the solutions available (FS2004)Elias

I'm trying to install a new set of engine sounds. I have the latest set by Devyn Silverstein and Jimmy Foong, but the Readme is not helpful - I guess they think everyone knows how to do it, by now :( I would appreciate some help, pleaseEdit: Just read the Readme again, it says = "Installation ---- Just extract the sounds into the sound folder of the aircraft of your choice." - does this mean extracting all the snd. files and pasting them on top of the existing ones?Ken

I just downloaded simufly's Delco Carousel INS system. I used the sample panel.cfg for the stock 747-400. I can't seem to get past entering the N lat figures. I have been reading the docs. I think I must be missing something. The other thing that has me stumped is getting the ADEU to show up so I can enter waypoint data for the sample KBOS-KMIA tutorial flight. The windows are all used up so I guess I wll have to eliminate the clock so I can get thde ADEU in there. I really think my head isn't screwed on tight enough. BTW, all the gauges are buried in the software and FSPS can't load them. Any comments?

Hi! I have a question...Nowadays, when i taxi the plane, it keeps turning left! It only happens on ground, and if you don't keep turning it right (continuously), the plane sometimes turn left a little, sometimes even turning left drastically! I have recalibrate my joystick (Logitech Extreme 3D Pro), and the problem keep persists.Anyone have an idea for this?Thanks

So, after the left turning problem, the next problem also arrives. Sometimes (happens randomly), the FS suddenly got into a critical error. The bar menu on the top (which i keep it unhidden) suddenly gone, there is a bar of freezed scene at the lowest part of the FS window, and you can't right clicking anywhere! even outside the FS (nor do i able to open any windows inside or outside FS).So, i have to hang it out by continuously clicking on the FS bar at the start bar, and then it can be closed (Task manager can't open when this is happening.)Anyone have a method to fix this one?Thanks a lot

Hey guys, When installing certain WOAI flightplans I notice that some airports have the ICAO code but no Airport - Place - Country information in the 'Expert Section' when viewing the particular flightplans Airport info. Also while using ACA 2005 and using the Flightplan Timetable Section I get an Unhandled Exception message saying Column 'To' does not allow nulls. This usually occurs if the timetable I'm serching has one of these Airports which lacks the above information within the plan!My question is simply how can this information be added to FS9 and the particular flightplan in question?Cheers in advanceFox

I have recently had to completely reinstall FS9 and I think I would like to find new ground textures. I have been using the original Ground Enviroment from Flight1 not the Pro either. Anyway I was looking for some suggestions on what I could get and what some opinions.Thanks
