Hi All I would appreciate some help with this one please. I have Samsoft's "The Very Singapore" for FS9 and the problem is a parking area with a bunch of Silk Air A320's parked on grass. Someone did a fix for this but I've lost it and now I've had to do a fresh install of "TVS" so the A320's are back on the grass. Can someone point me in the right direction for the fix as I cant find it in the libraries or send it t me direct if they have it.Many thanks in advance.Malcolm "Rooster" Hancock

Well since I got my issues fixed dealing with the PSS 757, by using the PSS panel with the posky b757. I wanted to upgrade my posky airbuses with a new panel, I have both the PSS airbus pro pack and both wilco airbus vol. 1 and 2. I found a pss airbus panel merge for the posky airbus, but the only ones I found for the wilco panels is dealing with the overland planes. My questions are:1. By opinion which is better to use as a merge for it?2. If I use the wilco panel, can I use what little knowledge so far I've accumulated merging the other pss panel and the readme in the PSS airbus panel/posky airbus as a guide to help me get the wilco panel to work in the posky?I like bot…

I couldn't find an english support forum, so I thought I'd ask here.I'm trying to install LTBA2008, and it needs the file "marmara.zip" to fix the seafront around marmara and istanbul.The maramara scenery consists of two folders- "istanbul" containing city objects and the like, and "cografya", which contains the terrain. Also in the zip are four library files that you have to put into the default asia scenery folder. The readme claims that these are landclass files- HL955170.bgl, HP955170.bgl, RD955170.bgl, and ST955170.bgl.So I put these four bgl's into the scenery/asia/scenery folder, and put the istanbul and cografya folders into the addon scenery folder. Hi all,Doing some volunteers work on a project for an educational group, we're looking to put some WW 2 US aircraft into FS 2004. We'd like the aircraft to be of good quality with cockpits, don't mind payware if it's well done. I've waded through some files on the site but it's hard to know what would be a good model until it's loaded, and that's getting old fast.We've got a couple classic airplanes (P-51, B-29) but we're looking for some other aircraft such as PT-17, PT-19, P-39, P-40, P-38, B-17, F-89 Scorpion.Any suggestions? I want to modify a .wav file which is part and an aircrafts sound folder. This particular .wav file is for the "Gear up, please" phase. I wish to remove the actual sound of the gear movement, as it conflicts with an automatic gear up system I'm I'm trying out, but not the voices.Any help would be appreciated,Ken

Hello, I have tried extensively to properly configure my FS9.cfg after the last Win + FS9 installation with no success. Blurries are visible all over the place. I change all possible values in the respective section of FS9.cfg, with little, however, or no result.FS9 is installed in its own partition (plenty of space and defraged). All settings are far right, framerate locked at 29 but can go up to 50-60s if unlocked. Hello, Of course I'm new and full of questions. I am learning FS2004 and am enjoying it, but I am not, nor will I ever be a good pilot. Rather I might be a sightseer of world scenery. It's more about seeing the sights of the world, than flying as a pro pilot. So I am wondering how to make FS9 look the best from the air. The best scenery detail, the best clouds, trees, mountains, water, etc.... (for the world, not just for one little area). What types of add-ons do I need to have the most realistic looking experience. A mesh? Certain terrain detail? What is needed? Also I would like to hear if from two ways, the best way to do it with freeware like; "Global Terrain Mesh"…

I've done dug through the old post throughout the pss section and its about my framerates. I recently just reinstalled FS9 and all my files within the past couple of months due to a HD swap. I've got numerous payware and freeware addons BUT the only one I'm having problems with is the PSS B757 with framerates, doesn't matter if I'm at a default,freeware or payware airport, I get horrible framerates with it since I reinstalled it, 2-17 fps it varies bad. All my other payware PSS 777, PMDG 737,747, Wilco AB, 737's, basically every other plane I have I get 22-35 fps ( locked at 35 ). Which of the files in the main scenery folder control Malta, specifically the airport LMML?I'm having a huge problem with that airport- it doesn't show up at all. I have a big, empty green patch where the airport should be, with the default terrain's roads going around it, but there's no airport. I opened up AFCAD and checked, and the stock AFCAD file is present. I can see my AI planes parking, but the ramps/runways/everything else doesn't show up, and the planes are simply sitting in the middle of nowhere. Hi All,When totally new non native airports are added to FS9 it seems as though standard ATC does not recognize any ILS/GS approaches to such airports but only vectors you for "visual" approaches, even allthough the included Afcad2 files actually do specify ILS beams correctly.Is there any way of getting ATC to recognise these ILS/GS beams ?Thanks in advance.Hans

hi i just created an airport with afcad for fs9 and i replaced the .bgl-file of the default microsoft airport with my new of afcad. But usually the "airport" is only for glider. So i had to enlarge the airport very much. And now there are houses and trees on everything of the airport...runway...taxiways...apron...now i would really like to know how to clean these scenery files for using my airport without any objects :( .

Does Flight Environment X work in FS9 and if so how does one get it to work? I see from Feng's shots it looks like he's using the X package along with some kind of Bloom effect. Does anyone know the Bloom program/effect for FS9 and where to find it? The last thing is the various sky colors present. Feng said he'll post his settings all the same I've been playing around with some things on my end and getting pretty good results but not quite what I'm seeing in Feng's shots.

Something has changed regarding the angle of flight in FS9. It doesn't matter which aircraft I use or the wind direction. Whether I'm taking off, landing or flying I have to aim the aircraft at a 5-10 degree angle to the left in order to fly or steer straight. I don't know if there is something I can change in a configuration file or if I need to reinstall FS9.Jerry

I bought and installed Aerosoft's 'Mallorca X' For FS9, and it's stunning, I love it, I like flying to the Balearics.I also noticed that Aerosoft offers an earlier version of Mallorca with the 'Balearic Islands & Gibraltar', which ofcourse as the name suggests offers all the Balearic airports, naturally being an earlier version it's less detailed, but still the scenery is of a good enough quality for me, and it includes the other airports and they're all AES ready.If I bought this package, it would I assume overwrite the Mallorca X package already installed, however because Palma de Mallorca airport in the Mallorca X package is of a higher quality, I'd want to keep th…

Hi all,Have a reoccurring prob, maybe somebody there in Forum land can give me some advice. Had this one a while back and due to a tip of a forum buddy it went away but now its back and not intermittent anymore but all the time.Here is the thing, after landing at any airport, default or add-on, and acknowledging Tower to tune to Ground for taxi instructions, I get a CTD. The only way to finish the flight properly is 1. Safe the flight b4 acknowledging Tower to change to Ground. 2. Exit FS2004. 3. Reboot my PC. 4.Startup FS2004 and load the saved flight. Only then can I ackn. Tower and switch to Ground and get the instructions to taxi to parking with no CTD. Also no probs…

While I'm on a panel modding spree, are there any strike finder gauges available for FS9. Or is there a way to make one myself? Perhaps a finder that at least simulates lightning detection in thunderstorms.

Hello. I was hoping someone might be able to answer a question for me regarding Gary Widup's KSLC v2 scenery for FS9. I have tried to contact Gary but haven't received a reply. It seems some textures are not showing up but I can't figure out why. I have re-downloaded the package and made sure I have everything loaded correctly. But, as you can see from the attached picture, I am still missing something. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what files I might be missing. If it helps, this plane is sitting at gate E 15 (GA Medieum). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've just completed the PSS777 panel merge w/ Poskey 777v2 and I have black screens in VC mode and I can't figure out what I'm missing? This is using FS9 and I followed a post by Rafal.Don

I have tried running FS flying school on a client computer using WideFS for network connection to my FS computer. The problem from this is that I get significant stutters in FS9. This problem I don't have with ASA and RC 4.3 also using WideFS. I have been informed that FFS is not certified for WideFS. But why should it not work and why should it give stuttering? it doesn't make sense. Does anyone else use FFS with WideFS? Seen this problem? Any idea what to do?
