Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I'm currently having a sort out of Manchester UK (EGCC) and have downloaded and tweeked a good recent afcad file. EGCC has 2 runways and I watch the AI traffic arriving & departing on both. My question is how does FS9 determine which aircraft lands on which runway and can this be changed. With AI Seperation running sometimes aircraft land on 23L when I have several aircraft waiting to depart on this runway, runway 23R would be a much better option. Hi AllFor the last couple of years I've been exclusively flying PMDG's 737NG.However, a change of job has now meant a much reduced window of opportunity for FS flying. So the complex nature of IFR, "by the book" flying is now out.I've decided to go back to basics and blow the dust of my Carenado Cherokee and look for some of the most outstanding scenic VFR flights that I can find here in the UK.This is where I'm hoping that some local knowledge from you guys will come in handy. Hello!! Does some owner of the DigitalAviation Cheyenne II have these problem: After having all the talk with tower and already in the air the radio does not make anymore contacts and does not change the radio frecuencies automatically as it does with other planes. Is there a way to make it work "normally" or should I do it manually?Thank

Waited sooo long for this, and finaly, they released the Seneca for FS9 yesterday. Stunning aircraft, texture, everything... BUT!!!What happens??? The SAME problem as with their T-tail...The plane, the Seneca, like the T-tail just bumps up and down during takeoff and landing, resulting in a total crash!To BAD Carenado! I mean, how difficult could it be??? What is the problem?This is beyond words, no moore products from Carenado! This morning I stumbled upon some settings that may open up some new options for Vox ATC users. As much as I love VoxATC, I've always been disappointed that the standard version for FS9 doesn't feature visible AI traffic. Those wanting visible traffic have had the option of purchasing VoxATC UK, but it's not a terrific one for North American users, mainly because it uses UK ATC phraseology ('decimal' 'pass your message' and 'ready for departure') and issues altimeter settings in millibars.However, I've found a way to tweak the UK version, so that simmers can (at least partially) revert to North American phraseology and altimeter settings while enjoying the visible AI of t…

Hi folks, first post here.I have had Birds Eye View (USA, summer volume) for a while, and just recently I got Ultimate Terrain USA. The roads and everything look fine. But my autogen scenery from BEV is almost non-existent now. At first I figured it may be because the roads from UT now seem to outweigh the textures/autogen. But then in the UT configurator I turned off residential roads and a few other options but I still have the same problem. Rather than having good autogen and well-aligned textures as I once had, roads just overlap flat textures. There are now very very few autogen buildings, varying from area to area. I'm still looking for the location of where it is "logged" when you change a view or eyepoint distance. It's got to be registered on some .cfg or something like that. I've been playing around with the fs9.cfg trying to see if any values changes AFTER I make view or eyepoint changes to my aircraft (Level-D 767-300), but without sucess. I know that there are a lot of smart people out there and I could'nt be the first person trying to find this? Any ideas? Because of FPS problems I fly with the default FS2004 clouds under the "User selected" Fair Weather, or Clear Sky. In the Clear Sky mode after about 30 minutes 1 or 2 small Cumulas will show up. I can change to "Fair Weather" which has a LOT of Cumulas and some Cirrus show up but I get about a 5 FPS DROP, which is too much of a drop for me. Is there any way to control or change any setting to get a percentage of clouds, maybe 5-8 Cumulas show up? This is DEFAULT weather and NOT download from the internet. Okay heres another question...I haveNvidia GTX 98003GB RAMAMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4800+I am soon going to upgrade my processor too so that i have a super PC.For now tho...I am noticing alot of the time i am seeing textures blurred especially at heights at 30,000ft up, now they do eventually clear and appear as they are meant to but it does take a good 15seconds or so for them to kick in, what can i do to improve this? all settings are at maximum,

Was saving up for Wilco Citation X, and now I've noticed Eaglesoft have one.Now I'm all confused!Any thoughts on either. I'm more interested in the VC rather than external model look. Thought the verticle profile in the wilco version looked interesting, and from the screenshots the wilco VC looks a little more slick.

Could someone please take a quick look in their FS9 UIRES folder and tell me the correct full name for the .BMP file within the first 8 or 9 at the top that ends with _narrow.BMP? Thanks for your help.John

Yes, Guys, this IS a sad story. VERY sad! And like You all say here in this thread/post... Its a shame, Carenado has taken a BIG step backwards with this. And its true, the never even released a fix for the Arrow, WE (or YOU guys hwo are "in" to computers, not me...)tweaked and fixed the cfg so that the Arrow was able to fly... I dont understand how Carenado and their team thinks about us FS9 users... For me its even impossible to understand HOW they can release a product without even TESTING it, it would just have taken the Carenado-team 20 sec. to discover this problem... Don't get alarmed, this is a FS2004 fire :)I placed a Flashing Beacon at OKBK Airport this morning. Did a short flight, landed, on taxiing to 'the Gate' I noticed a plume of black smoke rising heavenwards - closer inspection revealed it was my Flashing Beacon!!This 'new' to me, even after apprx. 10 years simming. I have been searching the web for the Omwings L-1011 Tristar panel, but it looks as though Omwings went out of business or something. I can't get onto their website, and with that I can't get the panel I want. Anybody have any idea what happened to Onwings lately?If anybody has the Tristar panel by Omwings, maybe you could zip it up and send it to me over the email? Don't worry about legal stuff, the panel has been released as freeware.

Hi everyone I wanted to know how to make car traffic on the roads in fs2004 for my favorite airports. Because Ive searched and searched and could not find anything on how to do it but its possible because people make and have car traffic at airports in fs2004 so I now there is a way but I just don't now it lol. I try to launch FS2004 now I get the following message:ERROR: Your computer has run out of available memory. Flight Simulator will now exit. You may not have enough free space on your hard drive. Run Disc cleanup to free up space and then try running flight simulator againI have rebuilt the pagefile and edited the app for the "App can handle> 2gb adressest" fix. I have defragged per NickN's directions. I have 205gb left on a 300gb drive. I am not out of memory.I uninstalled my Vancouver scenery because this started happening immediately after I put it in. I just received an email from Captain Sim, saying they would make a final update for the FS9 757. Update 2.2 should resolve some issues to bring it more to the standard of the FSX version:"To meet the numerous requests of our customers we have decided to build and release one more update for the 757 Captain for discontinued FS9.
