I tried to install an Auto Pilot into the Aerosoft DH-2 Beaver by putting a Cessna C-182 radio ( with autopilot) into the panel. The radio showed up and you could adjust the desired altitude and rate of climb numbers but nothing happened when I clicked on the AP button. Is there a program somewhere that lets me install a working auto pilot into the beaver? Thanks jerrycwo4

Hi.I am going to re-install FE and wondered if someone might be able to help me regarding the up-dates.I have looked on the F1 site, but all I could find was reference to update 3 which is 30MB, but at the same time it states that to use the update 3 I need to have the update 2 first.I can't find the update 2 anywhere.from their web site "Note: You need to already have the CD ROM or the download version that already contains Update 2 (your Setup file after extracted from the Flight1 Wrapper will look like FE_Setup_2.exe in the C:\Flight One Software folder). Hi just wondering if anyone can help me. Whenever i am landing at manchester at runway 24 R i always have a problem with the localizer, i tune the nav radio to 109.50 and i get the bottom part to line me up with the runway, but there is no glideslope? every other runway approach at egcc works fine.. am i just being stupid and there isnt supposed to be a glideslope for 24r approach? or is something not right?Thanks Martin

Hi, just bought pmdg 747-400, which i must say is a superb add-on. im still sort of getting to grips with the fmc but i can program my route, approaches... vrefs and things... but im having a problem with the heading select on auto pilot. the autopilot will climb and hold altitute correctly, and works correctly on ils approaches... but i can't seem to get it to fly where im trying to direct it! if i click on Lnav it will turn and head for what im guessing is the gps route on the display.anyone else got this aircraft and had similar problems?

Hey, I've always had this problem and it has finally got the better of me...I want those pesky tool tips gone! And before someone suggests it, yes, I've unchecked the tool tips option. Yet every time I hover over a switch of 2D pop-up panel, a little box still pops up to tell me what I'm point to.Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I find the clouds to be very nice, even better than Flight Environment X when installed in FS9. Sky textures also appear to be very realistic for "normal" situations. HiIs it possible to generate terrain.dll CTD with problematic aircraft?To be specific, I have occasional CTD with terrain.dll message, but only with Carenado PA-28-181 ARCHER II at LDPL airport , approach to rwy09.I monitor MEM usage and there is no increases in mem usage.I tried other a/c (payware) and no CTD on same route. Hi,I have a weird problem, I suspect it is a Win7 (and Vista) feature but because I never used Vista I'm puzzled (and baffled)I'm in the process of installing FS2004 on Win7 X64 Ultimate incl zillion add-ons.Currently I'm installing scenery and here is where the problem/feature started.I'm using FS-Navigator Editor to add scenery manually (if necessary) and some of the scenery installers do it automatically.Now after an automated installer has added a scenery in scenery.cfg and I open the scenery.cfg with FS-Nav editor I don't see the newly added listing.Also I have added an entry with FS-NAV editor (and saved it) and when I open the scenery.cfg with Notepad the entry is …

Hi.I have now done three flights with the LDS 767 and trying to get to one of the German Airport destinations but keep getting this FE.Dll error when getting close to the airport.I'm not bashing, just curious as to weather or not anyone else has had this problem.I'm running Win XP Pro with the 3GB switch, and FS9.1. ASv6.5, FE, GE Pro and was connected to SB3 at the time.I have had this happen yesterday too when flying from CDG to EDDK in the LDS 767.I have used the LDS 767 for ages without any issues, so this has left me to wonder if there are any probs with the GA Cologne Bonn scenery that anyone is aware of.Thanks for any ideas.Of course I will try another flight short…

Since the "fix", I am experiencing a CDT if I try to select any other aircraft after CS 757. Never had a CTD with the previous versions. Also, the course display on the ND seems very strange. The active leg doesn't stay in the center but moves all over the display making navigation difficult. The VOR/OBS was never corrected like they claim. I get stuttering where I never did in the past. Because of these issues, I would rather use version 2.1 and my question is: I set a restore point before I installed the 2.2 upgrade. If I do a system restore, will it put version 2.1 back or do I need to manually uninstall 2.1and put the 2.1 back in?Michael

hey guys,i have a small problem...recently i installed fscopilot and fsinn...however the "Fscopilot" commanddoesnt appear when i click alt while running fs....i'm running on windows vista...my fscopilot is version 1.7 beta 2and my Fsinn is 1.3...i'm also running the program as administrator but it still doesnt work....any ideas? :(

I'm a private pilot, but looking to enhance my flight simming to stay proficient since I should be saving money instead of burning it in the sky, at least at this time in my life.So, I plan on getting the Saitek yoke and rudder pedals, as well as track IR. I'm undecided on the Saitek switch boxes (radio, multi, switch) right now. Hi,I use Traffic 2005 and overall I am happy with my AI but I would like to add a few extra flights but am struggling to get my head around how the AI works.i have seen there are 3 text files, flightplans.txt airports.txt and airlines.txt which get complied to make up the overall traffic.bgl.But I have also seen there is a seperate folder called "flightplans" which holds txt files with all the airlines names.Can someone tell me what these files get used for and if they can be edited directly, how do you complie them into the traffic.bglIt looks a lot easier to add some more flights to the Cathay pacific.txt etc... rather than editing the main flightplans.txt which is huge…

I bought the Captain Sim 757 Pro Pack for FS9 which I don't think is at all bad, particularly as it cost me less than 10 pounds. I know it's not up to PMDG, LDS etc standards but it gives me something else to fly and I quite like it.One thing I have noticed and the main point of this post is that when in level flight in spot view, the fuselage is absolutely level. I thought all a/craft had to fly with some angle of attack so is the CS757 wrong in this respect? If it is wrong, is there something in the aircraft.cfg file that I can alter to correct it?Iain Smith

hi ... I have the box version of 737 classic by wilco... installed the product on the computer and started the flight simulator ... then selected the plane chose the flight plan etc ... when it was to load all the flight simulator comes down and makes a noise typical of windows ...Anybody know how to fix this?cheers
