Hi all,Its been a while since I've had an FS9 problem that I've not been able to figure out on my own, but this one has got me stumped. Starting today, my aircraft seem to randomly revert to the state that they were in on first load. Things like switches, buttons, dials, and knobs will just revert about every 5min - 2hrs to their original loaded positions, though the plane, engines, navigation data, and almost everything else critical to staying in the air don't seem to be affected. I said almost because the spoilers also seem to activate randomly, though this happens much less often (1-2 times per flight). I've made absolutely no changes to FS9 since the last time I flew…

Hi there!After 1hr+ flying i get these texture changes in fs 9.1 with all aircraft. (DF 727, RealAir Scout, default DC-3 for sure)Everithing is maxed out in FS, except visibility and cloud draw distance are set to 80 miles.Video settings are also maxed 16x AF, 16xHQ AA, mipmaps on quality.Tested 1600x1200 and 1280x1024 full screen. The A330/A340 package from PSS looks appealing. How well are systems simulated? Is there any other addon that compares in the amount of detail the avionics are in? Can anybody recommend it? Any warnings/cautions before I buy it?how does it compare to the CLS A340s?thanks

Still learning the ropes here. What is the best way to quickly set the radios when in VC mode? Clicking on the knob and scrolling through the numbers doesn't seem to be very quick or easy. Especially with trackir and the radios are moving with my head! Tempting to get the Saitek radio panel but I don't think it works with FS9.

G'day to all,I installed FS9 the other day and started to find out about it, fly an airplane or two and look around the sim. And right away I had a problem. All seems to be cool until I go to full screen mode (ALT + ENT) and then I can no longer toggle between spot, tower, VC cockpit and 2D cockpit. It stays in 2D cockpit and all that happens when I try to toggle is that the sound changes. I tried restarting while holding CTRL + SHIFT to rebuild the .cfg file, but that didn't change anything. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled but there was no change. Can you think what could be wrong? All I did was install the program, I didn't touch "settings" yet or add any airplanes, …

For some reason, I am unable to load FS in SFO. I get the startup screen, choose an aircraft, pick SFO to start, but when the progress bar gets to about 52% (loading terrain), then the terror box pops up. FS needs to close.I can load SFO with no problem at night, but in the daylight, no way, no how. I have spent most of the day moving things around. I use Fly Tampa KSFO, but I went back to default, and same thing. I reinstalled FT KSFO, I tried to fly in form Fresno, but when I got close to SFO, the ground stayed blurry. The runways did not show up until after I had landed, and then I promptly got the terror box. I am also unable to load KOAK, but I can load KSJC. I think…

Hey Fellas!Recently, I've been having a few draw distance problems in FS2004.This image is taken with 2nm visibility... There doesn't appear to be any haze at all, the environment just stops dead.Lets come outside with Auntie Mable and see the difference between 2nm visibility to Unlimited visibility...2nmNormal.Something isn't right here, either something has gone awry in my texture folder, or an effect is missing somewhat.Can anyone help me out here?I'd like to be able to fly in low visibility, and have it look right....

Everytime I put in Kitimat,B.C. (CBW2) FS9 crashes to desktop? Also with Terrace,B.C. (CYXT) can't figure this out. I took out FS9 reinstalled it loaded my addons and check CBW2 no problem til I loaded Victoia Plus.Thats when It starting crashes.So I took out Victoraia Plus ,but no help but could some... flying the Wilco A320, I had F-plan discontinuity error. I've figured out that I needed to put it in a departure route (forgot the name for it). But flying midflight, I also had gotten the F-plan discontinuity in between the VORs (I flew VOR to VOR navigation). I was clueless now of what to do to get rid of the discontinuity and get back on course. How could I fix the problem?(Couldn't find the Wilco A320 section so I posted here)

...This will sound silly, I know. And totaly unrealistic. But anyway...Is it possible to put the VC cockpit from SkySim DC-9 and put into Jet City Aircrafts MD83, MD87 etc? (since they just have the model, and no cockpit/panel, VC and so on)Foolish question... I know, and by the way, how is the JetCit MD series, frames... etc?Best RegardsPer

I am pretty sure that I saw a post on this subject on AVSIM once, but I've spent quite some time searching here (+smoke +pushback nad so forth) with no result. Maybe it disappeared from the database - or it was a different forum..Anyone able to tell me why at a number of airports (and I seem to recall that it is related to the airport rather than the aircraft) I get huge clouds of white smoke coming up from the front wheels, often obscuring the whole area around the plane. Is there a fix? I tried flattening the area but that didn't help. Hello,OK running windows 7 64bit, latest nvidia drives Monitor 1 and 2 are using dualhead2go to output 1 on 9800GTXMonitor 3 to output 2 on 9800GTXMonitor 4 on 8600GTSok at first monitors 1 and 2 worked on full screen (40+ fps) but full screen with monitor 3 would drop the FPS to 3 or less. On widowed mode it works fine (30+ fps across all monitors). I tried messing with the nvidia settings, now I have the opposite, full screen on monitor 3 works fine, a full screen with 1 and 2 (with or without monitor 3) drops the fps to 3. Now full screen on monitor 3 AND 4 works just fine. So I just can't get monitor 1 2 to work on full screen.Any ideas?thanks!

You know, I've been reading post after post here about cloud replacement textures and it seems that everything is replacing everything else. So really, (at least I think), the biggest question here is not so much which one is the best because that is really subjective but...1) How to replace one set of textures with another set...exactly which files are to be replaced2) How to make sure that the same set of textures are used until you want to use something else no matter which after market program you're using.That way if you are using ASG 6.x, FE, FEX, GE, or HDE one can be sure of exactly where to replace the textures in both FS9 and the specific texture app so at fligh…

Hi I'm using PROJECT OPENSKY BOEING 767-300 V4 model and have a strange thing happening when I fly at night I see all these red dots spouting out of my tail section like a fountain of fireflies or red hot embers. It looks a little odd.Doesn't seem to have any effect other then looking like my planes on fire. Any ideas how I could fix this or what is causing it.I've attached a screen shotThanksKazperNZL

Are you able to update World of AI flight plans? For example, You have summer 07 flight plans and you want to upgrade to summer 09 flight plans. How would you do it without uninstalling the package?

Yesterday, I reinstalled FS9 because I was missing the yellow taxiway lines. It was fine for a day, but when I was taxiing today, I noticed the taxiway lines were missing yet again! I didn't make any changes to the FS9 scenery, but the taxiway lines keep disappearing. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Server/Client Users:With a new system setup, I am speculating on applications that can be run on my client computer through WideFS or SimConnect for FS9 and/or FSX.Presently the main programs I have implemented by this methed are ASA, FDC, and ProFlight2000/PFE.I very well may be mistaken on this, but I thought that in a thread or two I had read that some were also implementing this method with AISmooth.
