After purchasing of a new computer a year ago:Dell Duo Core 2.66 1333FSB4gigs RamNVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 w/1gig Memory I'm finding the same issue I saw with my old 2.66HT model I bought with when FS9 first came out. This nagging CTD issue when flying into or over the New York area especially KLGA. On my old box I had AI down to 50%, the new box has AI set to 95%. Here's a list of Add-ons for the area:Imaginesim's KEWRImaginesim's KLGALago's Manhatten SceneryFSDreamteam's KJFKI have a mixture of World of AI and Ultimate Traffic with the appropriate airlines disabled in UT for the newer WOAI traffic. I know this is going to sound silly to a lot of pro's on here but i have just bought Air Hauler and was doing some flights over the weekend but as I normally fly heavies with the GPs computer, I suddenly came unstuck when the game put me in a Cessana Caravan.for the life of me I could not fnd an onboard computer so Im guessing it does not have one. I spent half the flight jumping back to the ingame map screen which I think is not the right way to navigate. I could fly with visuals but as I had real weather it started to get quite cloudy.Can anyone give me a gentle push in the right direction for navigating with the smaller aircraft?Also, i guess the autopilot would work i…

Hi there, i have recently became a airhalic after a while I decided I wold up realism a bit since I had hired a few pilots that I wold designate a few new parking spots at egpe. Bt no matter what I do I cant see my new taxi way or parking spots, I saved my new airport in the addon scenery and moved it p to numb1 priority and renamed the old scotflight egpe, bt still cant see my new parkingany help or a qick reply wold be greatfllMany Tahnks

I recently merged the PMDG 737 Panel with the POSKY 737 and I get this message when I fly. How can I remove it. Also this dosen't have to do with the panel question, but I get smooth framerates when I look forward through my cockpit window in, but when I look to my side it stutters. I don't know why?

Hi folks,Can somebody tell me the difference between (user aircraft) sound configuration in FSX and FS2004?Specifically, I'd like to know if it is possible to use a soundpack made especially for FSX (the new IRIS BAe146 in this case) in FS2004 - either with or without some modification of the sound.cfg file..?I have downloaded a few FSX soundpacks from the library and they don't look too different from FS2004 ones but then I wonder why IRIS don't market their product at both sims if it is compatible...Cheers,Geoff

Is there any way that Crashes and Damage can be assigned a keyboard control. Take-off's and Landing could be "on" and taxiing "off" thus eliminating crashing into hidden buildings etc in add-ons .

Is there any way to resize the default kneeboard in FS9?

Hey everyone...hope that this is an easy question. I just installed John Loney's KVNY and found a reference to a terminals.bgl file. It's called an "FS9 Default scenery object" by John and yet I don't see any terminals.bgl listed in the FS9 default install. Does anyone know which library it is really referencing or am I missing something in my default FS9 install? Hi I'am new member on avsim forum so Hi to everyone.I got a problem yesturday When I've landing at london city fs2004 has 4-8 fps :( "I have Visual Flight London"and when I landed I swith off fs and go sleep today i try to run fs9 and it massage "Microsoft Flight Simulator2004 has stopped working...." i say what?! I change fs9.cfg to fs9.bak but it did not help then i delete everything in fs9 folder in my roaming folder and I still get "Microsoft Flight Simulator2004 has stopped working...."messagecan any one help?? plis I dont know what to do now. :( :(

I got GE installed alongside UT. I followed the 3 tutorials on the GE website, but I think I'm missing a step b/c when I load up a flight the textures look the same as the default fs2009 textures. I've searched around for something I could be missing but cannot fingure out what. Maybe I should have installed GE first? Currently the order of things in my Scenery Library is...UT-USAUT-Canada/Alaska..various other things.....My questions are as follows:1.) Am I supposed to point to the GE textures through the Scenery Library wizard within fs2009 like I had to for UT?? 2.) Do the textures only work for certain flights? 3.) What is the general way/procedure for using GE and…

ACA2005 appears very helpful from what I have been able to get to work.However, when I first start up I receive an error stating that the file "airline.cfg" cannot be found in the "FS9\aircraft\" folder.I searched my whole computer and cannot find a file by that name. I have been into FS for many, many years and don't recall a config file for "airlines".Any assistance/words of wisdom availaible ?Joe

Been away from Flight Simulation for the summer. Its getting cold again in Minnesota so its time to put away the summer toys. When I try and use this panel from pressing ALT it tries to load and has some sort of "protection error" and I try to see what's wrong by pressing ALT+tab but I have to end up closing my FS2004. It just freezes when the FDSFX tries to load.Any reasons? Any way to solve this? :( . I really wanna use the safety videos etc!!! Please reply, do you have the same problem?

Hi all,I know all I have been doing is asking questions and you guys have been great about providing answers, so thanks for that. I have another problem... I tried to install the FDSFX sound panel into FS9 and I followed the step by step instructions and it SEEMED to have worked. I was able to find the panel under the view options BUT when I clicked to open it I got an error message that said "Protection Error" (I believe from FS9, it had the FS9 symbol next to it on the task bar).Does anyone know how I can correct this problem?I also have one more question.
