Apparantly this "Left Seat Simulations" is now defunct, but I'm looking for this particular software they produced. Sim Market has a few of their add ons, but no joy with this one.Anyone have a clue where or how (who to contact) to get it. I really hate --and won't undertake-- the task of mapping commands for every key in the Level-D SDK... But I'll pay someone else to do it.

I'm using registered FSUIPC to assign/calibrate my axes. I've just installed Saitek yoke/TQ/pedals and trackir to enhance my flying experience. I'm making my first attempts at getting my C172 off the ground and flying straight without autorudder. Challenging. Wants to go left just as I expected, but it sure is persistent - requires close attention. Does the C172 have in-cockpit controls for rudder or aileron trim to give me a rest at cruise, and even help me motoring along the runway without getting a cramp in my right leg? Is the best approach to assign keypresses/actions to yoke switches to trim rudder and/or ailerons so I can take my hands off while cruising w/o AP and…

i had replace my old card (2900xt 512mb) with a new one nvidia 9800gt 512mb now the problem is when i make a turn in the flight the turn is not clear i see shutters in the picture (its like little pauses) and i didnt had the problem with the old 2900xt .i lnow that pepole have this problem in FSX but i have it in FS9 also .need help

Hi, after a recent reinstall of fs9, I now find that if I Alt+Enter into fullscreen, I can't get back out of it. Pressing Alt brings the menu bar up at the top of the screen, but I can't do anything with it. Bringing the task manager up to close fs9 results in the task manager locking up also. I had to shut the power off, then restart. fs9 would'nt go past the start-up screen. I had to go in the fs9.cfg and alter FULLSCREEN=1 to 0. then fs9 started OK in windowed mode. Any suggestions as to whats wrong would be welcome.Russell.

The other day I purchased the Abacus Repaint 2 program and they included a FREE DHC-2 Twin Otter aircraft (FS2004). It was "so-so" but just not up to my standards such as the Level-D B767 and Aerosoft's B-200 King Air. Avsim library is down so I looked in Flight Sim's files and tried one with the larger file size (usually a better aircraft). It to was "so-so" also but I'm looking for something better. Better textures on the outside of the aircraft and a better looking VC panel. Could someone steer me to a better DHC-6 ? yea, yea, I know you shouldn't complain when you get something FREE, but I just want the best there is out there. Thanks jerrycwo4

Hello,After installing the Carenado Mooney I noticed that the strobe lights, nav lights and red beacons on other aircraft dissappeared when switching to the spot view of the aircraft. Thinking that installing the Carenado Mooney was the problem l uninstalled it but that didn't fix the problem. If anybody can help me with this I'll appreciate it.Thanks Jahil

Does anyone know of a way to read the Magnetic deviation values of the waypoints in FS9? I would like to build a table to use with flight planning spreadsheets of my own creation. I have FSNAV (no longer supported :( ) that will display this info, but I would like to read the data directly from the bgl file or some other means rather than reading each way point each time.

It's like the texture layers aren't right. It's not missing anything but looks different than it did beforehand. Thanks for any help or ideas.....JT

Dear Simmers,Could you kindly tell me what does the real difference is when Fs runs with frames locked or unlimited?1 thing is for sure that is happening on my system, that when the fps go up more than 100 fps ( Window Mode ) the fs sound itself gets cracked.I Usually run Fs on Maximzed Window so that the Anitlising and all that stuff will come into place. ( I don't have the Nvida Enhancer, so I use the ones from the Nvdia Control Panel)What's the best for my system? I searched the FlightSim.com files database and could not find the following files for some scenery I downloaded and wondered if anyone here has them. I am trying to make John B. Loney's KSUN scenery look right (floating signs are not very attractive mind you). Unfortunately, Simviation.com does not lend to easy searching of their files. This problem has plagued me for some years to be honest, but as I don't fly helicopters all that often, I've not been that motivated to get it sorted out. I just installed a new chopper however and having fiddled with the settings to no avail for two hours, wondered if anyone can help. It'd be good to know how to fix this.The main issue is that when I install a new helicopter, either I get no sound when I start the engines, or, if I manage to get sound, the rotors slow to a crawl when I apply thrust. Or, the engines start up with sound, but will not engage (like a jet after start engines, but before switching the fuel valve to 'run'. Or, yet again, the engines keep restar…

Is it possible to configure pedals of a racegame to fs9?

HiI was wondering if there is some kind of addon or setting that makes the ADF indications more realistic for GA aircraft. Currently the ADF shows 100% correct during all turns, and uncoordinated flight. Is there some way to add the unreliable indications during turns to the ADF needle?Thanks in advance!Regards,Rasmus
