I've checked the system requirments and I've used the system requirments lab on www.canyourunit.com to make sure I could run it. My system passed both the required and recommended. When I look at other people's screenshots, theirs looks 100 times better than mine does. Why is this. I have all graphic settings on Ultra High and it still looks like crap :( Any idea's?

I'm thinking about purchasing UT Canada/Alaska and have a ton of scenery in both areas. We're talking at least 200 - 250 freeware/payware sceneries. Now I'm sure someone is going to tell me to start hitting the manuals, but instead of doing that right away, I'd thought I'd beg the group's indulgence and ask a few questions here and first. I'm wondering if it's going to be trouble. If it is going to be trouble, what do I have to look forward to? And finally, if it is worth the trouble. Flame, reply, no answer..it's your choice. But I take my simming rather seriously and am still trying to get my wife to wear a stewardess uniform when bringing me my in-flight meals...Mark

Would there be a reference link to a site or a database detailing which routes are flown by the various eurpoean carriers with reference to the types of equipment used on those routes?ThanksDom

Since 2006 I have been using Flight Aware, in my opinion one of the best aviation sites catering for real life, sim , enthusiasts in fact everyone. They have just introduced sectional charts for the USA plus you can find airport info , real flight tracking etc etc. Best bit it's all FREE, so worth having a look, at [www.flightaware.com]. Another FREE site for budding pilots is [http://www.vimeo.com/user821005/videos/sort:newest], a flying school which shares 30+ video lessons which are downloadable, and great for winter nights viewing. (Haven't named the f.s. so as not to be commercial, but at www.gsfc.com). Give them a try , it's all good stuff.

Hi all,I have started getting this message when I start FS9..."Your computer has run out of available memory. Flight simulator will now exit. You may not have enough free space on your hard drive. Run disc cleanup to free up space and then try running again."The drive in question has 89% free space.Then I get this dialogue..."Application errorThe instruction at 0x7c14f0e7 referenced memory at 0x0000001c.The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate program."Nothing new has been installed or changed on the PC.Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this?Cheers, Mark.

Am thinking of buying this product (E-Jets series) but wanted to ask for some advice from people who have the product.I'd be using it for FS2004 before I make my decision.1) What they think of the product overall?2) Would they recommend it to anybody?3) Any issues they have had and also what is the support network is like?4) It does come with a tutorial doesn't it from me checking the website? Just bought the NEW Carenado Archer II for fs9......AND ONCE AGAIN THE SAME ######!!! WHEN Will they EVER learn???????? Hello everyonei have some problems with fs2004 and windows7 running ivap flying onlineafter start my flight and arrive to my final cruse FL , i minimize FS9 to do something or exploring website or any other works , but when i get back and open fs9 To continue the flight i Surprised that my aircraft has been stalled and crashed , i don,t know why , for your information i disabled my joystick before minimize fs9 , with windows xp fs9 was working fine without and problems like that , can any body help me please

I was wondering if anyone knows of a replacement afcad for Imaginesim KCVG with crossing runways. I checked the library, but didn't find one. I was flying there tonight and only the 9-27 runway was open, which I didn't figure was very realistic (for what I know, which isn't much). Thanks!KP

jut one final thing i need for fs9, and its to get an alternative to the default atc from fs9 which sucks. ive always been curious about radarcontact but ive heard what the voice's sound liek on some youtube clicks and they sound horrible. anyone got this product?and i was thinking of getting an add on traffic program, sommit like ultimate traffic or similar. and was wondering. would this replace the default atc too or is it just for traffic? i use the pmdg 747 mostly and fsbuild to build my flight plans. problem is you build your flight plan start flyinhg and atc tells you to go a totally different route 99.99999 percent of times. thankyou....

I just experienced a weird problem I have had over a period of many years with successive version of Flight Sim as follows:When clicking a saved flight to load it, nothing happens; I just get kicked back to my existing flight whatever it is. So the saved flight I wish to load does not load and never can load.I have had this issue over the years but with seemingly random saved flights. I save everything the normal FS way and write in a DESCRIPTION. It works 99% of the time and I have saved thousands of flights and reloaded them successfully. But once in a while, I am unable to load a saved flight by clicking on it the same way as I do with any other saved flight.At one…

OK, just in case anyone is interested. I turned off the Windows XP swap file, turned off the function that writes a bit to every file XP accesses and cleared the system memory of anything that was un-necessary. I ran FS9 with all sliders maxed and real world weather with 32bit clouds at 1920x1200. I flew from Cloud9 KLAX to Shez KPSP across Mega Scenery Southern California and ran at 40 FPS. The peak amount of memory used was 1.2gb.Note to self...cool :)Mark

Hey guys,This is my first post here but I come in need of desperate help.I recently installed the LOWS_2006 Version 1.0 freeware scenery of Salzburg Mozart Airport into FS2004 running on Vista Ultimate.Now, even after completely removing all files associated with the scenery, I am unable to load a flight in the daytime, anywhere in the world! It always crashes at 58%, back to desktop.Any ideas on what's going on or the area the problem may lie in?Many thanks in advance for your answers!

Hey guys, I've been hunting around for an Interior and VC for the Carenado U206 Stationair Cargo version. The plane is a 6 seater by default but would love to find a model that only has the pilot/copilot seats while the rest of the interior is devoted to cargo only. Anyone seen anything like that?Mark

Hi,Have downloaded the An-12BK, (an12bkzh09.zip), from Avsim. I believe its a fairly recent introduction. But when I attempt to load it into FS2004, I get "soundlib error".."sound file not found", and of course it fails to load. I have reinstalled several times, and downloaded it a second time.Has anyone out there tried this file and found this error? Or could some kind person possibly try it on their system. I`ve emailed the developer but so far no response. Its a shame as it looks a super model. Many thanks in advance, Stuart.

Hi, i currently use the fdsfx sound panel on most aircraft for cabin announcements etc but even tho i install it correctly i cant get it to work on project opensky 737 with an NG panel. so was just wondering if anyone else knows of anything that does a similar job to fdsfx or better and is more compatible? and also if theres anyway to get the height readouts and miniumums etc etc readouts on finals? Hi allI have just installed 9 Dragons KaiTak for FS9. Its absolutley brilliant. Well done to the team that put this together :( Just managed to get WOAI flying into and out of VHHX and all seems well. My only concern is with the amount of aircraft from Cathy Pacific and other local based airlines. My thoughts on this initially were to turn down the % Traffic within FS but if I were to do that, then I suppose this would affect all AI traffic overall :( My second thoughts were to go through the flight plan of say, Cathy Pacific as it seems to swamp VHHX and make every other flight put into VHHH.The only problem I have in doing this is the understanding of the flight pla…

For some testing reasons I would like to install a second copy of FS9 on my machine. Would that work? I am afraid of some confusion for example of the fs9.cfg file, of the registry, etc.Any ideas or experiences?ThanksChris
