Rick Pipers Viscount 800 using Fraser A McKay's panel (vc813p32).I stop engines by moving HP fuel cocks to SHUT position.Starting - move HPFC to 'open' position and follow directions from manual but cant seem to turn over and fire up.Anyone help please?thanks,

As recommended by Chuck I am now using the fabulous WOAI, however I cant see any AI traffic to show at Gibraltar. It is in the Airport list and there are flights to and from the airport.Anyone any ideas?Many thanks,Chris EGBB

Hello!I have searched the Avsim library and cannot find what I am looking for. There is\was a gauge that would allow you to view PDF's in FS9. The gauge is good for loading PDF charts and viewing without losing focus.I had this gauge at one time but cannot find in my perosnal flight sim files. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Scott

I am looking for ways to improve my desktop flight sim configuration. I am trying to find sites that can assist me. I don't want to spend the kind of money I can use to pay for actual flight lessons! For example, I am looking to find ways to stop my chair from sliding away from my pedals. Reconfiguring my yoke and throttles would also help. What kinds of key words would I put in to get the best results? Flight Simulator and Flight Sim and Home Made Sim are not giving me the results I want.Any suggestions with key words would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there everyone,There's an issue I'm facing with the default Singapore Changi International runways: I constantly keep bouncing up and down as though on a grass runway! I've tried a fresh install of FS9 but the problem seems to exist anyway. Does anyone know what is wrong with it and if there's fix available for it, would it be possible to point me in the right direction? It's very annoying landing a 777 there after a long flight only to find it bouncing up and down completely unrealistically. Thanks in advance. :(

Hi,I have just downloaded FsPassenger for fs2004 and I have installed it. That was no problem. Then when I started my flight and went to the FsPassengers menu bar and clicked Start/Load Flight it said it says something about World Travel payware stuff. Do I have to get FsPassenger planes or is this payware? Can somebody give me a clear tutorial about the aircraft please. That would be really appreciated.Thank You

Hi GuysI'm thinking about adding some non-military AI helicopters to FS via Flight1's HeliTraffic 2009.However, before doing so I thought that I'd have a quick dig around and see what AI helicopters are out there. Unfortunately, I seem to be struggling to find a great many of them. Ideally, I'd like to add the ubiquitous Bell Jet Ranger, however, I've had no luck finding an AI version.Just wondering if anyone can point me to some AI helicopters that I may have missed.Many thanksGary

I've been joining multi-player servers for awhile now just to be able to fly with others to various locales. Although Vatsim exists, several people avoid it due to confidence issues with their comms, so these servers are the next best thing. In any event, there are several "hop" oriented servers out there, but none of them have commercially flown hops.... until now.I've stood up a server that allows seasoned pilots to fly real world US commercial routes using flight plans found on flightaware.com. Hello!!-I have seen many of ground environment (textures and mesh) collections.but Most of all were Fs gensis . fs global 2010 , Ge pro , and ultimate terrain.Me, i have UT, fs global 2010 , and Ge pro.are they able to make the best combination for making the best ground environment?if so, in what order should i install them.and one thing to ask about UT. there are many roads installed with the setup.Can i reduce them? A drawback I've had for a long time that has kept me from using virtual cockpits is that the instrument panels are rendered very darkly on my system. This makes them nearly impossible to use. Any suggestions to alleviate this are appreciated.Thank you.Michael Verlin

Hi, I did quite a bit of searching and could not find anything here.I have a Saitek X52. Most everything in MSFS 2004, and Wilco PIC 737 are able to be mapped. I cannot seem to map the Autothrottle Arm Switch, to ANYTHING on my Joystic. First, I disabled the Keyboard stroke is Shift R. After reading posts, I disabled that in hopes mapping the joystick would take over. To no avail.I assigned the AThrottle Arm Toggle to a number of different buttons and switches on the X52. I still have no control over that switch, via the X52.I finally downloaded a registered copy of FSUIPC version 3.08 (Version for FS9) and tried to re-assign the switch there. I even attempted a ma…

So this is a serious question that really irks me and I am intentionally posting it in the FSX forum as you are the users I want to hear from first hand...Why is it that every time a conversation about FS9 comes up a lot (and I am not saying all or making generalizations here) but a lot of FSX users jump in and bash FS9 like it is some inferior good for nothing sim and everyone associated it with it is poor or good for nothing just like the sim? Hi,I've seen these mentioned several times and really don't kind off understand what they actually mean. I'm getting a new pc built at present but it's having Windows 7pro32 then downgraded to Windows XP with my old scenery.Will the old Swedflight scenery work on 64 bit like EKCH etc. And all the Japan ones by Overland? As I never know what scenery works for 32bit or 64bit?I will be reinstalling FS9 with various payware / freeware scenery so does it all have be 32bit computer? After reformatting my computer (Boy, are porn and ED pop ups fun...), my AA in FS2004 went haywire. I have downloaded and installed nHancer and set it up again verbatim to the link in parenthesis, which worked flawlessly before. (http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041) Even though I do have AA, it is only for short distances. If it's further away, there are very noticeable jagged lines.Aircraft-wise, only the Captain Sim 757 is effected. I've reinstalled FS2004 AND the Captain Sim 757 with the update to no avail. I am facing a problem in FS2004. When ever I press L key, it does not turn the lights on for aircrafts. Even I turn the lights on from panel one by one but none of the lights appear to be ON where as corresponding light button is ON. THis is happening to all aircrafts. I want the Brasilia soundset. The file from avsim doesnt work (doesnt fully download) - search "brasilia" (without speech marks) under FS2004 sounds. I believe the OSS EMB-120 had the sounds but they dissapeared. So if anyone has either the sounds from avsim or from the OSS pack.
