Hi,I didn't really want the gatwick scenery so I thought to uninstall it but everytime I try to uninstall it, it either does nothing or when I try to uninstall it from control panel it says 'Could not load intialization file.'Has anyone experienced this or know how to get rid of this UK2000 scenery. I've also tried re installing fs2004. Thank You for your help.

I was wondering if there's a solution for opening and closing the doors and making turns during pushback when you're running Proflight Emulator.I can only open or close the main door and pushback only works in a straight path. When you hit SHFT + E - 2, It's PFE that interprets that '2' and not FS9. Same with pushback SHFT+P-1 or SHFT+P-2 :/Any idea on how to solve this?

Got a slight problem that I'm hoping someone can give me a hand with. The previews of the aircraft are not showing up on the start page. Neither the native nor the added aircraft. Everything else seems to be working right, and I have a suspicion that maybe something that I've added has corrupted something in a file somewhere, which is preventing the previews from showing up.If anyone else has come across this problem and knows of a possible solution, help would be appreciated. If not guess I can just pasted a picture to the monitor of the aircraft I wish to select.Thanks.

Howdy,In a previous thread a few people had mentioned the RealAir172. I was wondering what the appeal is of the aircraft. Also, someone had mentioned that there are addons for it. If you have an opinion about this, I'd sure like to hear about it.Thanks,-Matt

When I was reading a review over Grenadine athttp://www.flugsimulation.com/reviews/incl...?site=grenadinea weird thing occored to me. At the screenshots at the bottom you find one TVSC and here you see the lights for the runway out in the water.I have seen this before in a payware addon for Swedflight Kastrup EKCH which I find very annoying. The improved scenery is really cancelled out by such glaring glitches.Why do we see this in payware airport addons? Is it possible to fix it?

Hi allI know this might sound trivial but this problem has been bugging me a bit lately - the textures seem to have disappeared on my rwy12 static aircraft (the ones made by the late Seev Kahn) and these appear grey. It seems to mainly be a problem in the addon scenery from John B Loney for some reason, although all the other objects are fine as are the AI aircraft. This is annoying me a bit and, much as though I would like to, I can't ignore it, but have failed to find a solution. I am presently in a flight outbound from Detroit, MI------------------->Phoenix, AZ, and with REX2004 SP2 (with wave animation fix as well) and ASE (latest build), I simply don't see anything 'less' than what I would see enroute in the real environment. With GE PRO II down below, FS9 is simply amazing as a 'heavy iron' platform. 1. ASE (latest build)2. REX2004 Extreme SP23 G.E. Pro II4 My Traffic X v5.2b......punches out 'real world' with force.Absolutely satisfied, and that is an understatement. 60 CONSTANT FPS with the above programs kicking it with each other. Ok, so for certain reasons, I would like to start using only multisampling AA instead of using combined MS and SS. If I use 16xQ multisampling AA, all textures including runways, buildings, etc look pretty darn good and with very minimal shimmering, yet the AI textures are extremely bad. On my PC, the AI textures shimmer noticeably when using combined AA, but its almost unbearable when using only multisampling. Considering that all other textures are relatively good...what is it about the AI textures that makes them shimmer so much, and can I do anything to fix it??

Hi,Recently I bought a new FS PC on which I run WinXP SP3.On my other main PC I run several add-ons like ASE, SB3, FSC etc using WideFS.This main PC has Win7-X64 Ultimate installed. (In the past I ran also WinXP on the 2nd PC, not Win7 like now)In the past when selecting the 'Connect' menu in SB3, it would automatically find and create a multi-player session in FS2004.This doesn't happen anymore. Not really a big deal, because also within FS2004 I can connect to the SB-host session.However, it takes a very long time before I can connect to the SB-host session. Hi everyone, i just wanna made a satelliete image for Hong Kong by using FSET...but there is a problem on water mask...I have followed the instructions on manual to create the AreaKML.kml using the Google Earth. Howdy folks,I was wondering if anyone else out there are hardcore IFR simmers. Firstly, how do you manage your weather? I've given up on ActiveSky. It just doesn't work for me. 90% of the time the destination weather is wrong. Instead of 2600' ovc at KGEG I'd get broken at 10k' with 30mi visibility. With REX there's no way to set custom weather. (As far as I can tell) So I've given up on 3rd party weather engines. How do you set up an effective IFR/IMC situation for your favorite destinations? Any tips or tricks?Do people fly minimums? And what level of instrumentation do you use? I used to fly a single prop with dual DME and ILS. That has to be the most challenging. Char…

I hate haze !! I've spent a lot of time and a ton of money to get my Fs2004 looking the best that it can be and that does NOT include having the land/ground degraded with HAZE. Lets face it, it's hard enought to get the land clear for any given distance in FS2004 and I dont need to "shoot myself in the foot" by inducing haze and to a certain extent, fog. (95 %) of the time even thought I have all of the great weather programs for Fs2004 I use the default weather of CLEAR, NICE DAY, and Approaching Cold front as these do not include degrading my views with haze/fog.So the question is, is there a way to use AS 6.5 and CANCEL / DELETE the haze part of it ? I was wondering since many people here use Ultimate Terrain, do they find it particularly useful for tubeliner flying? I would assume at high flight levels that where exactly rivers / roads are would not be as important?I already have REX and GEP and am interested in UT Europe.

I hope someone can shed some light onto my situation. I have been researching but got nowhere.I have read the system requirement and have the above minimum (I know this is not the best guide to use) but I am having problems with my Video card not working. I keep getting kicked out of FSX before it loads (I have un-instlled it) and FS9 is running slow and I got an Error when first playing it. - I know my pc is not amazing but it should be adeqaute?? I don't know if Carenado has fully crossed over to the dark side as of yet but I would sure love to get that new F33 A Bonanza in FS9. I like the old version and wished they would have updated it. Now I see their doing and alas it's for FSX only. With enough support as usual maybe we can get an FS9 version as well. Carenado seems to holding back on releasing FS9 versions of their aircraft unless there's a demand for it (which is smart). Unless I'm mistaken I'm thinking many of us FS9ers would love to have an updated F33 in our version of the sim. If you run the great Portland, Oregon (KPDX) enhancement from Flightzone - using a default setup as I do, then you are aware of the terrain issues that enhancment creates at Seattle (KSEA).I am pleased to say I have found a "fix" which works - thanks to a fellow simmer in the forums here.There is a patch (really just two mesh files) which was created to be used by simmers who had Portland and the Fly Tampa enhancement of Seattle.I have discovered that the two mesh files can be added to the Portland entry and no Portland files need to be disabled.I did this on my "default" setup and have made numerous test flights around Portland and around the Seattle airport and everythi…

Just a quick question I just reinstalled FS2004 after years of not playing and installed World of AI. Now for some reason I remember when you see the scrolling text showing you the type of plane and stuff that it showed you the planes destination and airline. Is this possible or was I using a certain program that had that? Thanks I just found that info pretty cool.

It's me again, having the next problem with Mega Airport Barajas X again...I fly Air Europa PMDG 737-800. Each time I request taxi to the stand, the ATC directs me to stand 130 (which is a RAMP Cargo stand). Each time to this very stand, although there are a lot of free stands designated to AEA by the terminal.I added sections atc_parking_codes=AEA and atc_parking_types=GATE to the aircraft.cfg of PMDG 737-800. Still no change. I checked in AFCAD to make sure: this stand is a RAMP Cargo stand. So I deleted this stand at all and I left only the gates by the terminal with codes AEA. You don't get the download when activating the download link to the WAVE ANIMATION FIX when trying to from your FS2004 REX Service Pack Forum. You only get sent back to the message page that holds the zip link at the top left. Dave, is the WAVE ANIMATION file actually the bottom zip that has the 4 ENVIRO files? That one is active, but the top is not.Mitch
