Just noticed it appears recently pulled for FS9. That's a shame.

Been away for a long time. What aircrafts are now available that will work with FS9 and Win 10 and have the most fluid/smooth action panel and flight instruments? I only use a 2D panel and do so for just IFR procedures practice. Reality XP had great stuff but quit working after my last computer upgrade. What do you recommend for my need now? Thanks.

Hello, I've recently downloaded this package for an updated Default FS Ford Trimotor from flightsim.com (filename in library: new_4at-e.zip), and it contains a really nice but simple autopilot gauge that I've been trying to add to David Molyneaux's Airspeed AS.5 Courier (filename in flightsim library: airspeed_courier.zip). This autopilot gauge simply holds the Altitude and/or Heading that the plane has the moment you flip the switches (or click the respective assigned keys in your keyboard). This is in my opinion a much simpler, cleaner looking and ''legit'' way of having an AP in vintage aircraft (as opposed to simply add the Bendix AP to the panel :P ). I d…

I hadn't loaded up FS9 for a month or so due to moving house. Once I moved in I booted the PC up and there were tons of Windows 10 updates which took a while. In the past few days I have been updating my AI collection by adding as many winter 17/18 traffic files from AIG and forum members. I also installed FAIB 767, SBAI CS100/300 and FAIB NEO range. [RANT] After a year back in the FS sadle. My windows 10 messed up my FSX installation after updates, missing fonts and stuff, I decided I was done with that c.r.a.p No more BS'ing to me MS. I am done with that. Just imagine, how many megabytes you need to just start your computer and be able to do nothing. THAT was different in the MS DOS days! Anyhow, I exorcised (spelling?) the devil, and put win-7 back. Disabled updates, no more messing around and installed FSX. Now, that was a bummer. I have posted this question on other sites, but I figure Id try here as well. As I continue to explore central Europe I am now looking for the Plovdiv LBPD airport. I have looked at the fs2004 scenery site and the scenery listed is no longer on the Bulgarian IVAO website. Does anybody here know where I could find it? Thanks, Sean

Hi all ye scenery experts, I've been using Toni Aggramont's ground scenery for the whole Cuban island for years, without ever noticing any problems. I also have mesh for the whole island and some separately downloaded airports. Great country for VFR low and slow flying. Nothing has changed in my installation of this scenery, except for me adding some extra EZ objects at airports/airfields here and there, especially trees and some other statics, in order to make them look less "out in the open" and barren. Hi. It's been a long time... I've finally had to build a new PC and have found that Captain Sim's C-130 isn't compatible with Windows 10: no undercarriage (can't re-register it), gauges don't work (written in obsolete code perhaps) and doesn't fly too well either. My FS9 world became so complex before the long hiatus that I haven't the heart to move to a newer simulator so I'm looking for a suitable replacement for the C-130 in which to make cargo flights for Air Hauler (though I've yet to reinstall that and don't even know yet if my existing company will load). I wonder how many spouses surprised us with an aircraft, scenery or utility, or did we surprise them with the Christmas purchase??? Purchased a new computer after my 10 yr old one bit the dust. On fresh install of FS9 with update, the FSUPIC install puts the module & other files into the FS module folder, however FSUPIC does not appear in the Addon Manager menu and thus addons like ADE9, AiSmooth, or AI Separation, etc, that connect thu the module will not function. Tried installing as Admin but that didn't make any difference. All I need is the free version of FSUPIC, but no luck so far. Everything else seems to work fine. Any suggestions?

After many years in this Sim and using multiple monitors (6) I am just wondering if there is a way around, or a better way of doing what I am doing. Using IFly 737 BBJ3 as an example, when I create a flight, I select the aircraft, then, go into Views and set my main screen to VC. Then back into Views /instruments and select AFT Overhead panel which is then docked to a 40 inch 1080x1920 Portrait mode, TV screen and the size is adjusted accordingly. Hi all, I am looking to add afterburner power so experiment with a business jet going supersonic. The original jet engines can only do subsonic at best. How do I add afterburner power to a jet engine? I tried editing the .air file and the .cfg file but I must be doing something wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

Hey! I've been using EVP during very long time, and it worked fine. Now I had to re-install EVP because of a crash and I've lost the program. However... The program EsitVoicepack31.zip refuses to install again. It beeds the .NRT Framewords 3.5 and the program nor myself can find a goed installing MS .NET Frameword 3.5 Original. Can anybody inform me what I should do in order to re-install EVP without problems? Jive1 - Belgium

Hi people, I downloaded the HondaJet V4 freeware. I do not like the (flight attendant/co-pilot) girl standing beside the aircraft cos it's just a statue. During push back, with door closed, she's still standing there. Also there is one lonely passenger inside the aircraft that I want deleted. Any help is much appreciated.

AI Aardvark is back with a model of the Boeing 747-400 LCF Dreamlifter for our favourite flightsim platform. "To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the very first AI Aardvark releases on December 12, 2002, we're releasing this monster." Here is what they had to say about the new kid on the block: "P3D? Here is a heads up for the new release of the FAIB 767. It appears to be also released for FS9. I dit not have time to check it out on my sim but I will later this week. The strange thing though is that there are some fresh repaints from Juergen Baumbusch but it seems that he made fs9- repaints for the AIA model and fsx paint for the FAIB model? well, I will find out soon. It looks great!

Some very good news for the FS9 community. SBAI has released a FS9 AI traffic model of the Bombardier CSeries 100 and 300. You can find the model here. Thank you very much SBAI for continuing to support FS9. Greg
