Hi all, I am facing a problem with my TNCM airport scenery. Behind the runway threshold, there is a big patch of rectangle that it blocking the view of the airport. I'm using Fly Tampa. How do I get rid of the rectangle? I also am unable to attach a picture in this thread.

I'm looking to buy a new monitor soon and it will be one with gsync, so what I'm asking is: Anyone here using a gsync monitor successfully with FS9? If so, do you also use TrackIR and is the input lag improved with gsync vs vsync?

Hello, First off, I respectfully request that no one directs me to solve my problem by "upgrading" to FSX. I like FS9 and want to stay with it. Thank you. I have been experiencing an anomaly in my use of FS9 and no search I have done has provided any clues. I am hoping I may find a resolve with your help. Here goes a typical scenario which has no rhyme nor reason except it happens... I am on final using ILS and once I am on short final just before the arrival end of the runway the aircraft will initiate a jerk-bank (aileron roll) to the left or right, but mostly left. Hi Some months ago I had the good fortune to get advice about a 'tweaked' .ini. file for FSUIPC. It optimised the set up of my nvidia video card controls, and the FS9 selections on things like antialiasing etc. My computer has limited power so anything that can help it cope with stutters in FS2004 is great. Unfortunately I've lost the file, following a reinstall. Has anyone any suggestions?

I've had to delete and reinstall my FS9.1 (and everything else) to recover a failed ILS (see other post). Of course I had to reset all the assignments in my controllers, but they didn't hold the assignments given from one flight to the next. I decided there was a problem with my Saitek Throttle Quadrant, so I deleted and reinstalled the drivers for both the Yoke and Quadrant. Now the throttle levers, don't 'reverse thrust' any more. I can get round that using the F2 key, but the range of throttle response has gone "mad" - even on flight idle the engines are producing too much thrust, and on take-off are way over 100% - it's like the 'scale' has slipped upwards. Hello! So, I'm trying to assign an effect on Recognition light in a PSS Airbus panel, but it doesn't work. Checking using the Event_Logger and turn on all the lights, there is no any registration for Recogniton light. I'd like to use the Rwy turned off switch. Is it possible for a panel, doesn't have the Recognition lights, even using all the others? OS: Windows 10. fs91upd and fs91 nocd installs works fine unless FSUIPC is updated to latest version 3.9999z9b. fs91update by default installs FSUIPC version 3.72, 02.02.2007 and FS2004 performs fine from start to finish when at exiting the simulation the logbook entry option is given. However, once FSUIPC is updated to the latest version FS2004 does not terminate normally and the logbook entry option does not appears. Is there a fix for this issue or should I revert to FSUIPC version 3.72?

Hello all I am looking for the BEST payware or freeware Addon Manager. I have never used one and this may be contributing to my woes. Can anyone tell me: 1. Do they install/uninstall ALL add ons, ie sceneries, utilities and aircraft (boxed or downloaded) 2. Are the effective, easy to manage and foolproof, and, 3. Obviously, which is the best and why? Hello all, Hopefully this is quick and simple. I am very easily able to assemble a flight plan but have a couple of questions. The YouTube tutorial covers most things but I am having a few problems. !. After I download to FMS ... IFly747-400v2 it starts downloading a notepad document (in this case YBBNYSSY.route). What do I do with it? I cant find it in my 747 FMS and if I try to put it into the co route it tells me "not in data base." I can, of course, manually enter the plan (Routefinder, Navigraph charts for SIDS and STARS) and save it through the FMS but then I cannot fly ATC in IFR mode. Hello to you all, A quickie if I may, for those of us with the IFly 747 for FS2004. I have just purchased this aircraft and after initial installation. I believe I have a problem which is IRS related. On start up with the preflight procedure, I click on the 3 IRS swithces (which by the way, are all in the off positiuon) The manual says to rotate to the off position for 10 seconds and then rotate to NAV. As they are already in the off position I rotated each switch to ATT and then back to OFF for the required 10 seconds and then to NAV. I then proceeded to the FMS ... INIT REF ....index ... POS INIT. Sorry, this must be as old as FS9 itself. I have been 'flying' FS9.1 for 2 years. I have a number of add-ons, and have FSUIPC3.9. Mostly I fly Dash 8 Q400 and have stripped out all the planes I don't use to save memory. Recently, after a period of non use, my ILS and glideslope capture has been eratic. I fly at the correct altitude and speed, and am correctly configured, but if the GS LOC captures at all it seem too late and results in a rapid (and therefore high speed) descent. Hey! I created an AI flightplan for the AlphaSIM Hawker Hunter. Now two questions 1° How can I make that the aircraft is not flying just straight away, but so that it follows the direction as planned? 2° How can I turn off the white smoke that comes from the outer wing tips, which I expect to see only at high speed, and not already when the aircraft starts moving at departure and when it is taxiing towards the runway? Having upgraded to Windows 10 I find that the frame rates o all aircraft - especially add-ons is appalling. Sometimes I am lucky to get 2 or 4 FPS. I have change all the sliders and tried all variations without any improvement. I don't know to what extent the sliders affect the outcome but suffice it to say I have set the rate at 28. Can anybody help with this please?

Hello. I'm hoping someone might be able to help me. I'm having an issue with the FPDA Boeing Callout Gauge when used with the TDS 787-8. The issue is that touchdown is occurring with the callout saying "twenty". I posted something in the TDS Facebook forum but it doesn't seem like anyone knows, or is willing to provide the info on, how to fix it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have recently bought, the entire England and Wales Justflight Photographic Scenery range. Some are for FS2002/FS2004 and you choose which version, you want to install into, for me FS2004. However, when I run FS2004 and follow AI Aircraft in England, the scenery doesn't display correctly at the height detail becomes visible i.e. 1500 Feet the colours are not correct, and the detail is disappointing. I have tried everything on Maximum, i.e Frames Per Second, and all the other Scenery and Graphics Card Hardware settings on Maximum. I have a Quad Core PC and an Intel HD graphics card, which should be more than capable of displaying the, scenery to the best re…

Hello all, I just downloaded and installed YBWW (a fairly new airport) but FS2004 simply does not recognise it. In fact if I go to airport YBWW it comes up with Weipa ( just a cuppla kms away LOL) How can I update the database to include YBWW ... any ideas? Tony

Hello all, I recently went looking for a 747 for FS2004 I found an IFly 747 as freeware and as I already have the 737 which I love. I thought I was on a winner. However, on downloading and installing I thought the cockpit graphics were average to say the least. In fact I was so disappointed that I have not even flown the lady and in no way does it compare with the 737. I know that IFly are still selling and supporting the 747 for FS2004 (as opposed to PMDG) and I was wondering if anyone can tell me the following. 1. Hi guys, Old man, new member. My dear old FS9 and FSX had been resting for a while. Not acceptable so I made an attempt to reinstall first the FS9 and it started very well just until I hit the "Register-button". The page that showed up is not any longer in use. Then I just pushed the "Start-button" and an unfriendly message showed up "Access denied", Please log in with administrators priveligies and try again". I did so, become rapidly an Administrator but it didn´t help: When once again using the "Start-button" no "Access denied-message" became visible but absolutely nothing else happened. There is a freeware add-on for terrain known as The Natural World, made for fs9. It is distributed by individual license to the user, and is updated occasionally. Hopefully someone here has some experience with this add-on that could be shared. The screen shots that accompany the web page are impressive, but screen shots in ads always look spectacular, don't they? I recently installed Ultimate Terrain after years of hearing about it, and found the results to be just so-so.

Hi there, Could someone please tell me the names, of all the default .bgl Files in the Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\World\scenery Folder ? I.e. the Folder where the FS2004 AI Traffic Files go. I think I may have accidentely changed the name of a file or two before, and just want to double check the names of the default Files. Hi, I had fs9 running great on win 10. Then upgraded computers and now get error when opening of : need admin permission. Tried runing as admin. no luck. Did compatibility trouble shooter, still no luck. Anyone have any idea why this is doing this. Thanks Brian
