Hi all, I have compiled all updates released in 2016 together with some new updates and uploaded the lot to the dropbox for an easy download. It was getting cluttered. Look for a directory called 2016_complete_updates. You only need the stuff from the zip files in this directory, all earlier updates are replaced. Install by dropping the files into the FS directories indicated in the zip name. Regards, Sascha

I have installed FS2004 in windows 10 but every time I wish to make the panel live or switch view - in fact everything - I have to press ESC first and then "Continue Flying" from the exit FS screen. Can anybody advise what I can do to rectify this? I also find that the image is very jerky. I have ample memory.

Just a heads-up.... simMarket is listing Zinertek's HD virtual cockpit only replacement textures for the venerable Level D 767. New lighting, including backlit gauges and new GPWS sounds are said to be included. Looks good in the video. Love to hear mini review of this product from early adopters.

I used TTools yesterday, to compile some AI Traffic Files for FS2004. I am wondering, is it possible to add @ symbols, to the arrival times, of all Flightplans, in an AI Traffic .bgl File. Without having to do it manually yourself ? Which for a File with many Flightplans, would be very time consuming, if doing it in notepad after opening the Flightplans File. Is there a program available that can do it for you ? And if so which one ? As I would like to do that for a particular AI Traffic .bgl File. The freeware scenery listing site at http://www.freewarescenery.com/fs2004.html was playing up a lot yesterday and today I cannot access the site at all. Just hope that this very valuable resource hasn't gone South. Anyone else having problems? Dijvid

Hi there, I have looked at the following Website's, download Section, for the Program Aircraft Analyser 2005 :- http://aifs2.pvdveen.net/ and it doesn't appear to be on there to download. I downloaded from the same Website, and have run Aircraft Analyser 2017, but it doesn't appear to have as many Options and functions as the 2005 Program. As I have read the documentation, on the same Website from the 2005 Program. Does anyone know, of another Website, you can download the 2005 Program from ? Hello guys. I started flying small aircrafts. Now I have Carenado Cessna 172, F1 Cessna 172 and Aopa Piper Cheeroke Six. But! I can't flying with comfort from point A to point B сuz those aircrafts don't support STARs and SIDs. For example, to put a SID or a STAR into my GPS on Cessna 172 I go to the FSCommander and put my flight plan over there then I need to put a SID and then go back to my GPS on Cessna and activate a new flight plan with the SID. When I arriving at my destination, air traffic controllers give me a STAR and then I go to my FSCommander and put STAR in my flight plan and add this new plan with the STAR to my GSP. I got a email saying Aerosoft updated their Frankfurt scenery to v2.11. When I tried to un-install the old version (v2.0) I got a error saying there is a missing uninstall log file. Since I don't know what file is missing (or where to get a new one) would there be a problem if I just install the new version over the old one?

UKMIL has a website but it is unusual. 1. To make an account, they demand an email that is "normal"--you cannot have gmail, yahoo mail and the like. They say those types of emails invite hacking!! I have a gmail email here, and in all sites like avsim, Simviation, SOH, etc. It appears those latter sites that accept such emails are wrong, if we are to take UKMIL's excuse seriously. 2. The simmers paintshop used to have psd files with national markings, etc for repainters. It seems their site no longer exists. Anybody know of another source?

Hi folks, yesterday I had a strange problem with the little AISmooth application. I run version 1.12 regularly together with FS2004 (v. 9.1), FSHotSFX (v. 1.1) and FSCommander (v. 9.2.1). I have a registered FSUIPC v.3.999w. When I arrived at VTBD Bangkok Don Mueang, coming from Sanya Phoenix ZJSY, still ca. 20 miles far from the airport, AISmooth stopped working with the well known CTD message. I wasn't able to start it again as long I was in vicinity of Bangkok; it crashed everytime I started it within one or two seconds. Good Morning All, I had a failure of my hard drive a couple weeks ago. I had backups but when moving that drive disappeared. It may have been a godsend. My backup of fs9 was loaded with 13 years worth of tweaks, textures and programs. I thought I had the best I could get out of it. I had bought an I6700K, Corsair 16mb ram, Z170 MB, two Samsung 850 SDD's and Nvidia GTX1070 Video card in September 2016. I added a Samsung 55" 4 k led tv as display. Since my backups were gone, I upgraded to a clean install of Windows 10. I reinstalled FS9 from scratch with add-ons over the last 2 weeks. I converted ORBX textures to work in FS9. I'm considering disabling scenery areas I'm not using with Scenery Config Editor. I generate GA AI flight plans with GA Traffic. What would happen if I disable scenery areas and by doing this remove airports those GA AI were going to fly too? Will it potentially cause problems? Should I just generate AI again for the airports that are only active in the sim? I'm simply trying to avoid the extra step of generating AI every time I enable or disable scenery areas if it's not really required.

When I finish a flight I save it and make it the default flight. How does the sim know that this is the default flight? Is there a variable set in a file somewhere to denote this or is the flight also saved in another location which the sim recognises as a default? Thanks for any info. Dijvid

I've just reloaded the PSS Concorde but I am finding that on take off, the nose keeps pitching up and the plane stalls. In the checklists, it says to set the pitch index but I can't find how to do that. The manual says that the Pitch Index switch is at the bottom right hand corner of the ASI but I can't find that on mine. Anyone any ideas please?

Hi Any clever FS users out there that can solve my problem, I’ve tried everything that my limited brain power could think of? Can you help? After several years using FS9 2004 a problem developed. Flaps (Rotation C ) Mixture (Rotation Y) on the Quadrant- stopped working. Throttle (Axis Z working OK) . Tried recalibrating several time but to no avail. They work manually when using the mouse. Deleted settings on Quadrant several times and reset hoping to reboot but still not working. When testing in the calibration, the system shows that it is OK Kind Regards Poseidon

Good Morning, Evening or Night to you all, I have raised this issue before but have yet to solve the problem. I am trying to install several programmes (Aerosoft MyTraffic 2010, Aerosoft Airbus, FeelThere Legacy aircraft and AIRAC Data to mention a few) These are all programmes that I have had installed previously and all worked to expectations. The issue has come about after a problem (accidently clicking on a Win10 update instead of deleting it.) This lead to a reformat and clean install of Win7 Ultimate 64bit ... and a reformat of my FS2004 drive and clean reinstall of FS2004 (with 9.1 update) The problem is that these programmes cannot find FS9. …

When I am flying an IFR flight plan, following ATC commands, when I am nearing my destination and ATC starts vectoring me in, is ATC actually vectoring me according to a published Approach that I can use the chart and GPS as an aid, or is it just random commands that may or may not be the same each time I fly the same flight plan? If ATC is actually vectoring me according to a published Approach, how can I tell which one it is? Thanks, Dave

I have Aerosoft's Madrid scenery (the latest version) and I am experiencing ground flickering all over the airport. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I have had this scenery for a while now and I don't think I noticed this problem before.

Hi, I have a custom built computer system for MSFS (customised by the late great Mike Greenblatt of FS-GS) running FS9.1 (FS2004) on a Windows XP Pro SP3 based OS. I do hope to move to FSX-SE in the near future but not just yet. And I want to keep this system to fly until I have the new rig set up as I want it. My NVidia GeForce 8800 GTS 2GB Video card seems to be on the way out now. Textures draws are slow now and the screen occasionally "flashes" (only happens in FS, not in normal Windows environment use) and so I want to replace the card. Hey! My AFX-pointer no longer works together with my FS9 screen. When I want to change an AI aircraft from one to another place, one can normally do that by clicking to let the airccraft jump to the new place... Well, since a couple of days that does no longer work. What can be thet reason why the mousepointer no longer works together with the FS9 aircraft? Greetz Jive1 - Belgium
