Howdy all, have a question regarding the following scenario and how and what would happen if I made a flight plan like this....the flights depart at say 9am and return to the same airport at 11:30am-12pm. If I make the plan with just the aircraft leaving and then returning to the same airport but leave that 2 hour gap what will the AI aircraft do during that 2 hours, will they circle the airport or fly to parts unknown and then return ? Hoping someone can help. Thanks

Hello everyone, I have had this amazing aircraft since it came out and I absolutely love it however I noticed that the lights, beacon, strobe and nav's all seem pale in comparison to the ones found on project opensky models. For those of you who have this wonderfuly Aircraft would you happen to have any suggestions as to how perhaps I could remedy this problem? Thanks again!

Some payware or freeware producer should make a 777 panel with functionality like PSS's 777 panel so we don't have to worry about "merges" etc for use with the best models, ie, POSKY 777s etc.

is there anyway to merge the the PMDG 747 panel with the project opensky 747v4 please reply thanks

I'm specifically looking for a description of the various lights effects files that (AI) aircraft use. For example, there are fx_navred, fx_navredc, fx_navredh, fx_navredm .fx files. What do the c, h, and m stand for. Same for the other default light files, I'm curious.Why do you ask? Well, just downloaded an AI aircraft that came with a Shockwave only light section... Wanna change them to default, but not sure which ones to pick.:(I've already checked the container and effects SDK's.

Hi everybody,Lately I have unintentionally uninstalled Project Canarias, which later caused a lot of trouble in my FS... I reinstalled it and what I noticed was that runway lights at each airport (all around Europe not only the Canarian ones) were orange! :| I know that Project Canarias makes the lights of the cities more orange on the Islands, but why does it also affect the airports all around Europe?Before I had uninstalled the add-on everything was fine...I tried changing the priorities in FS library but didn't help - even the airports that were higher priority had orange runway lights. I deleted FS9.cfg, didn't help. So I uninstalled Project Canarias once again and a…

Just had problems installing the CD on my system but eventually did so thanks to help from Jeff of Flight 1 Software by opening the CD and then opening the GE2006 folder and manually running the setup in that folder. I have FS9 in a separate folder (not in Program Files) as recommended by others. Hope this may be help to others. :(

I'm considering purchasing REX for FS9 but I am concerned about it working with Active Sky Evo, which I don't want to give up using as my weather program. Have any of you out there had experience in using these two together? If so, could you share your experience, pro's & con's? Thanks in advance!-Robert

What speed do you intercept with POSKY PSS 777-200 merge to insure it doesn't lose too much altitude then has to regains so climbs to much etc etc etc, does the speed affect ILS LOC capture? With or without landing gear down and what flap settings? If you use PSS flaps or POSKY flaps section in the merge does it affect the ILS or overall performance of the aircraft, eg at low speed the flap sections of PSS or POSKY may affect the speed and throttle setting etc...Cheers.

Hello allWhile not a newcomer to FS I have been lazy in not researching topics such as this and have blundered my way through learning to fly the 737 (PMDG of course)! After recently installing ASE I couldn't import any flight plans because I didn't know how to.Any how thats been rectified but FS own flight plans are not up to date so my question is how do I import a flight plan into ASE with up to date information?Please excuse my ignorance and I hope this post makes sense? Hi Guys,Does anybody know if you can just uninstall FS2004 only and then re-install FS2004 without having to remove other scenery and Aircraft add on's on you have already installed?As I've had another motherboard put in and when I start FS9 up it loads up fine I then select fly now then after about 15-20 secs it crashes.I have removed all the scenery I've installed but can't remove one correctly as I cant find it on the Add / Remove Programs. There is one I can't remove correctly which is called Polish Airports / EPKT Demo as It's not showing up in the Add / Remove programs bit either anyone know how you can remove this scenery If you can just remove FS9 and then install…

A rather simple question but one I've wondered about. In FS9 when using the Flight Planner, is the flight time in the log the actual estimated flight time or does it build in the time it takes to taxi in and out? I just wondered because I must be doing something wrong, it always takes me longer than what the Flight Planner says. I don't use FS Passenger so there's no one to get upset with me. :( Doesn't really bother me, I was just wondering.

Hi, what is the best program to make photoreal ground? I don't want a prog that downloads as you go.. i want to make it because i am getting good at modelling in gmax and want to place items exactly as they are in real life and eventually release the scenery.Thanks!Marc

After installing the 9 Dragons Kai Tak a few weeks ago and having been unable to resolve a couple of problems with some areas of the scenery, I thought I'd try here to see if anyone has seen something like this and knows the fix. I've already done a re-install of the scenery following verbatim the instructions in the activation and pilots guides.In some areas, notably around the under construction Chek Lap Kok and parts of the main harbour, the water textures are missing - these areas show up black. Other areas instead of water textures the original Microsoft land textures are present. I've included a couple of screenies to illustrate.It's most likely a settings issue …

Trying to locate FS9 CFG file for Windows 7....just came off XP and still learning this system.Thank You Folks

Hi all I'm in need of some help. Systems spec 4GB, Q6700 2.66, 800GTX. I have a problem with fs9 during take off / taxi (ground movement), only. When takeing off or taxing I get a small stutter / slow down every two seconds or so. It only occurs when I'm moving the aircraft if stationary and I pan there is no stuttering. I've looked all over the web at various different forums and I've tried turning off Force Feedback, I've played with nhancer but I'm getting lost. I've tried all I can think of but still they are there. Once up to around 500ft AGL the stutters go and I get 25fps locked and can go higer.I've included my FS9.cfg for anyone to suggest any enhancements…

Apologies if this has been asked before - I did a quick topic search but drew a blank.While reviewing some traffic mods at the excellent 9-Dragon Kai Tak using the MRAI Traffic View Board, I was startled to see the shadow of a 747 taxi past and go to the gate. No aircraft visible mind, just the lights and the shadow. By a process of elimination with the Follow Aircraft feature on Traffic Board, I'm pretty certain it's something to do with the AIA 747-400 GE model (FS9 Upgrade installed) in combination with the Air France texture files but at present can't figure out what.
