I use FSUIPC to calibrate CH rudder/brakes pedals. Brakes have been sloppy so request any assistance. When I go to joystick calibration tab in registered version of FSUIPC--2 of 11--prop/brakes etc I have the following values:Left Brake direct (REV is checked)In = - 16383 Out = 0 -16000 No Centre 16383Right Brake direct (REV is checked)All the same values as above. When attempt to reset in the tab, and set new values, only the right brake pedal gives values and it does it for both left and right. When I depress left brake, neither left or right changes any values.Do I need to go to axis alignment first? Please give me an idea of the correct steps …

DRAT! Matrox customer service is closed on the weekends and this is driving me batty!!! Does anyone here know why a digital 3HTGO won't show 3840x1024 resolution on an ATI card using Catalyst Control Center? The highest it will go is like 2880x900!! Their website compatibility software said my card was good to go to (at least) 3840x1024, I'm using the correct Matrox boxed cables, and my 3 monitors are identical i-Inc 19 inch monitors that support 1280 x 1024 each, and have dual digital inputs with the correct cables. The 3840x1024 is offered neither in the windows properties dialog, the ATI CCC Monitor dialog, or the Matrox software dialog. WEIRD!!FYI, up to now I've bee…

I love the 777 but there are many problems. First of all there isnt a descent 777 for fs2004, PSS is lacking the model and a merge isnt allways perfect with the POSKY 777 which in turn has the perfect model. I think if PSS reopens, they should join with POSKY and form the ultimate 777 for fs2004 which we can all enjoy and hopefully it can be up to the standards of PMDG and Level D. Currently using the PSS POSKY merge (and for some the PSS Overland), I can say it isnt perfect but it will do for the time. Someone should develope the 777 for fs2004. I imagine there are many people whowould buy it after a thorough review and check of the product.You guys think the same?

Hi,I recently bought Creative Fatal1ty headset to use microphone switch button to communicate with ATC by Squawkbox. Previously I setup END keyboard's button as PTT but that did not allow me to use both hands to fly aircraft and move it on the ground. Now, having the micro switch button I would like to use it as PTT with two hands available for flying but I am not able, no communication out. Is it possible to use this switch to communicate ATC by Squawkbox or not?Thanks bye.RR

I've dorked up my brakes (CH Rudder pedals) within FSUIPC--seems I can't dump the axis/calibration values...my left brake is on continually now...can't even select parking brake in idle fully stopped because the aircraft thinks a brake is depressed. I attempted unplugging CH pedal USB and plugging it back in but it didn't change anything. How do I completely unistall FSUIPC (registered version)?ThanksRich Perry

I now have fsx/acceleration installed and most everything works well. But, I would like to see and fly some of the FS9 planes that doesn't port over very well, or refuses to port over at all. Like Fravin's Cessna 150 for instance.I have ordered a new copy of FS9 and will have it early next week. 4 cds as I understand. Is there a list of updates someplace I can download to bring a virgin copy of FS9 up to date? Any advice? Cautions? Dos? Don'ts? Did MS ever produce a DEMO for FS9 like they did for fsx?Thanks.RayM

Hi,In an ongoing search for improvement I did the following:1. Cranked up the environments sound slider to max2. Lowered the others to get a balance3. Use Audacity to maximise the AI sounds (see sound folder)4. Use special (see library on AI sounds) file to have reverse sound on my AI.5. Set up my 5.1 sound system as I like it best.Now, more important..6. Dear Simmers,I would like to ask you whether someone out there have experienced a driver,which works gfine with fs9.I have an Inter Core2Quad, GTX 285,Asus p5nT-Deluxe mobo,4 GB RAM and WD 150 GB HD & Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.The thing is that sometimes my sim freezes especially when I am on Approach or change views. I'm sure that it is a driver problem,that's why I am asking which drivers maybe some of you,have found best.Currently I am running the the lastest ones from NVIDIA website.I hope to hear from you soon :)Regards,Cpt Zammit

The first 3 CD's install fine but on the fourth fails to install everything after AMSTERD.CABI have no idea whats wrong. Someone has this problem on another site but it was not the best place as it was practically a ghost town on that site.THE CD IS CLEAN AND BRAND NEW.Can someone help?

Just a quick one here, Wondering if anyone knows the landing distance of a 767-300ER, I want to take my leveld into my home airport, but the runway isnt taht long so just curious if anyone knows where to find landing distances for the 767.The runway is 6000feet, Im gonna try it anyways, if it dont look good on the approach im just gonna go to alternate, no cheating for me, if it dont look promising then it dont look promising, especially with fspax running :( Thnaks

Hello,I have been trying to self compile some traffic files. However, after I put them in the World Scenery folder and load the simulator, the program crashes. Are there errors in the traffic files? These are made by Alpha India Group.

Hi guys,I am having the dreaded Out Of Memory problem, and don't know how to fix it. I flew FS9 with no problems over the weekend, maybe a dozen or so flights. Yesterday morning, I tried to add three new sceneries and delete three sceneries I don't use anymore at the same time, as well as installing one new aircraft and deleting several others. I do this all the time, so am well versed in proper installation/deletion procedures. Upon trying to load FS9 after the changes were made, I received the Out Of Memory error. I searched this forum, and found several posts referencing this problem and fixes that people have found. I have tried them all, short of using the 3GB …

Hi,I can highly recommend these adventures, now freeware and available in the Library [ ckap_free.zip ].Well put together, great scenery in countries I don't fly in at all usually.Just one point, I can't complete the 'The Dig' in Series 3. I fly off runway 18, stick to a heading of 200 for about 10 miles but can't find the dig site that's supposed to be there.Anybody help on this - I love these ' search and rescue' type adventures, but throw my dummy out of the cot if I can't finish 'em. :( Cheers...Stuart

HeyI have my traffic at FlyTampa's KBOS v2.1 showing below the elevation.my aircraft and other AI arriving land properly on the runway and taxi on the tarmac but the parked ones are showing up like this:I have tried re-installing it but it didn't help!Please Help! Hi All , I was just wondering if i can add WOAI Airline package to already installed ADOBE AI in fs2004 . While i was trying i got a message saying that the installation airraft was not found ...I stay in India ..and only WOAI as per my knowledge has Indian Domestic Airlines ..to be installed.I am also using mytrafficX in FSX ....same needs to be done there as well ..Please help

Hi,Firstly I think I have heard before that there is too much ground friction to be realistic in FS9.For example, I find it very hard to taxi into a gate properly (slowly) in the PMDG 747, because when the plane looses its 'momentum', you need quite a bit of power to get it going again but then you have to cutoff some of that power or the plane shoots off quite fast.This happens in pretty much all the planes I think though, I just notice it more with the PMDG 747. Is there any fix for the sim or for the aircraft in particular?On another note, has anyone noticed that from the moment an aircraft's engine is running in the sim (especially single props), the plane always slow…
