I just took a flight in my PMDG/Posky merge 737-700 from KSJC by Imaginesim.Has anyone experienced a strange "bump effect" just after rotation? This is not like the "bumpy runway bug", where the problem is that the surface is set to gravel or dirt or anything.The takeoffrun was smooth right until rotation... Then these strange bumps and the sound of the gear leaving ground, then touching again, and leaving again. The aircraft also seemed to fall "through" the ground and bouncing up and down a few times before becoming airborne once and for all.... It felt VERY buggy....Also during the AES pushback the aircraft bounced quite a lot... (And my fspassengers freaked out totall…

What if we use the 757 Winglet model's winglex coding in gmax etc to get the wingflex on the non-winglet model to get going. Since the wings are the same (are they?) except the winglet model obviously has winglets so the coding should work and won't need too be toggled in gmax too much i'm assuming.We need winglex! Would this work???Cheers

I've struggled for a long time to get the sim to look right from high altitude and this is the closest I've come so far. I'm using AS6.5 with weather-generated themes and a registered copy of FSUIPC. I think I have things perfect in terms of visibility- now the only problem is that the colors look too washed out.Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to make the world look a bit more blue or colorful? I have suddenly discovered that the FS splash screen at start up has shifted to the top left corner of my screen instead of being in the centre. This is also happening with the main FS selection window (don't know what else to call it - you know, where you select your aircraft, airports etc), and with the FS shutdown window. This seems to have happened shortly after I installed Active Camera 2004, although I am fairly certain that it did not do this immediately after installing the software. Any ideas how I can get everything shifted back into the centre of my screen?

Is there any way that I keep the nav lights on after the transition from dawn to day ?FS9 automatically turns them off and it doesn't give any option for user control.Thank you in advance. :(

All it needs is wingflex! And I would like it. How would you get it to have wingflex? How would you need to change it in gmax and how? Cheers. Any comments?

Hello Avsimers !I've got a problem with my FS for about 2 weeks. The problem is that some FS2004 Base buildings are in white (may be there aren't buildings but I think) and invisible. Hello,I recently built a new PC that can run FSX relatively well. The FPS does drop quite lot in bigger airports but overall I'm happy with it. But I've been thinking about installing FS9 because I wanna run 100% traffic and now that REX is out for FS9, there's more incentive to do it. My questions are as follows:1) What's the proper procedure to install FS9 when FSX is already on the computer so they don't mess with each other? How about installing FS9 versions of addons from companies like PMDG if you have them running in FSX? 2) Other than REX, what are some of the must-have FS9 addons that improve its default scenery? In some planes there is an altitude hold button. When I select it nothing happens. I was wondering in these planes, is there anyway to add an altitude auto pilot without changing panels?Very hard for me to maintain altitudes without an autopilot.Thank you

Hey guys, I made a post about this recently with the PMDG but it turns out it happens in all aircraft. Every flight, regardless of the aircraft, at some point the engines fail. Yesterday as I was flying SFO-IAH the engines failed before departure, after departure, and I must've restarted them 8 times before I landed in Oakland. Last week I flew IAH-SFO after reinstalling FS and they did not fail. I installed Squawkbox and suddenly the issue started occurring. I removed Squawkbox and it still happens. Does anybody have the slightest idea why? Thanks

Well, since Dreamfleet aircraft apparently won't work with 64 bit Win 7, I need a ready to run replacement aircraft for mostly IFR proficiecy activity with FS9. I want the fluid motions of the DF/Reality stuff and the GNS 530 or 430. What is available now that meets those requirements without me having to install gauges and stuff that I'm not very good at. What will replace the Meridian, Archer III, A36, and Baron and is ready to go? Thanks.

Need help here. I already searched the forums and could not find a solution. When I upload a flight in FS2004 and then view the 2d panel, it seems stable as long as the red text in the upper right corner is displayed which says "COCKPIT". As soon as that text disappears, the 2d panel begins to flicker. If I go to windowed mode, the flickering stops, but my 2d panel is about 50% transparent. Back to fullscreen mode and the flicker starts again. I can't figure this out! Everything else looks great - 3d cockpit, other views, etc. It's only on the 2d panel does this happen. Any suggestions?

Hello all,I recently got this problem with my airport textures.They flicker when slewing around the airplane.I don't have any problems with the ground textures of the rest of the FS world,only at airports does it happen and only at addon airports.I don't have the problem on default airstrips.I included a small video to show you what the problem just is: I do have to mention that it started when i installed NL2000V3.I allready tried uninstalling this,but that didn't help.I hope someone could help me out,cause this is a real buzzkiller to my FS-flying :(!Regards and thnx in advance!Steven

Hi,I've just installed an NVIDEA GTX470 1280mb card. I'm getting great results with this generally in fs9. Averaging 25-35 fps (locked at 40 fps) with heavy addon scenery and all the sliders on maximum.However when I am over built up areas after two or three minutes the frame rate drops sharply to single figures. Hello all,I was fortunate enough to win my picking of any Carenado aircraft from the Honolulu fly-in last Saturday. I've narrowed down my choices to the Saratoga, Seneca, or Arrow.I usually fly either VFR around the Hawaiian islands or Colorado. I've heard the Saratoga is generally a slow-climbing, low-service-ceiling airplane, which is a bit concerning to me. (I get shivers every time I imagine trying to fly the default C172 anywhere above 5000 ft MSL, unlike how I can get up to 10.5k in real life in a C172 at KAPA).I've also read the handling of the Seneca isn't necessarily up to par, and reading the review here on AVSIM that prop pitch changes cause violent aircraft…

I am interested in knowing what software program(s) are needed to make a video of my flights in FS9. I am not talking about the "video recording" option within FS9. I want to be able to make a video and then send to someone to watch via Windows Media Player or similar programs. Thanks,Stephen

My problem is pretty straight forward. I just did a complete HD Format, and reistalled FS9 along with a slew of other add-ons. Problem is... Stobe and beacon lights do not work in any of my planes. Any ideas?

Hi all.I installed all four volumes of VFR Photographic Scenery for FS2002 & 2004 but I only see the first three in the scenery library and so when I fly in Northern England all I get is the default scenery. I note that the first three volumes is installed in the 'scenery' folder, and despite browsing to the same folder, volume four is installed in 'scenerydb' folder. Even when I cut and paste the folder into the 'scenery' folder, it still won't show up in the 'scenery library'.Any help greatly appreciated! I'm using FS2004 by the way.

I was just thinking if it would be possible to map overhead switches to a keyboard, say the starter switches, APU switch, Packs etc. etc. to certain keyboard commands. Is this possible say using the level d 767 or pmdg 737?Just thinking out loud. Thanks

I am thinking of upgrading my video card from a 8800 ultra to a nvidia 480. My CPU is overclocked and runs at 4.55 GHZ. I use Win XP SP3Trying to improve image quality and reduce the blurries at lower resolutions.Has anybody any experience with this new card in FS9, if so where there any heat or sound noises?Thank you very much Chris EGBB

anyone know if you need to install airports first and then your ground textures, mesh, landclass etc... or the other way? or it does not matter? and in the scenery library, in which order do i need to place mesh, landclass, ground texture (ge pro) and airports?
