I have a problem which I do not understand. I start FS9 and w/in minutes it stops responding. I am unable to exit the program (FS9) or my computer. I have to manually shut my system down using start button. Any idea why the FSNavigator Database Rebuild utility would consistently hang and freeze when it reaches the Ben Gurion scenery listing? I'm using LLBG by David Rosenfeld, and sometimes it does move on but most of the time I have to deactivate it before rebuilding the database or else finally kill it in the Windows Task Manager.As always, thanks for your help.

Hi all,is there anyone out there who's got ARMI TIC's VTBS PROJECT 2010 that was recently released on Simmarket? Does it live up to the author's claims that the frame rates were improved. Also I believe there was a flicker issue with the ground textures. Is that gone?Matt

Hi,Is there any addon that makes the FS2OO4 autogen all 3D instead of flat and blury on the ground. I just want to make it more realistic. I've got Ultimate Terrain Europe but its still not making any difference. Any good software that does it all in one? Thank You

Hello FS9 simmers,This post might not go here but I'm sure I'll be told if it doesn't.I recently bought a Dell running on Vista Home Premium 64 bit. Inside the C: drive is two Program folders. One is labeled Program files and the other is is labeledProgram files(x86). When I installed FS9 it defaulted to the (x86) folder so that's where I've been adding all FS9 programs.When I recently had to change the aircraft.cfg. file for changing a parameter or even adding a new texture, etc., I was given the followingpop-up message. Hello,I was just having fun doing some formation flying with AI traffic or FS Recorder generated flights. Everything was running fine, but with most aircrafts (not all...) when I fly closer to the other aircraft, FS decides there is a collision and my aircraft becomes uncontrollable, sometimes in fire. I think this is wrong because I can see the aircrafts don't touch each other, and I would like to deactivate this function. Even if the "Allow collision between aircraft" box is unchecked in the realism settings, some aircraft models still detect a collision.Does anyone know how to deactivate this collision detection that seems to come from the model?Thanks,Eric

Guys. I have these problems, maybe someone experienced?make a model for traffic. Naturally at least grounds. Max 8, panda 6, when compiling the model in the simulator is wonderful. But here comes the matter to Lod. I have the same X file rename the file under the LOD, xxx_L1_LOD_400. Then start again the same file, only to have second LODom: xxx_L2_LOD_200. Shoved makeMDL and climbs a lot of mistakes!If you convert the model without the animation, all beautifully converted, in a heap LOD! Hi,Everytime I fly in FS2004 then finish and clode and go into my My Documents folder there are two files made called the microsoft folder and the flight simulator folder. I've tried deleting them but they keep coming back after I fly in FS2004. Anyone knows why this is happening and how could I stop it. I have windows 7 by the way.Thank You

Greetings everyone,I fly the Flight1 ATR using FS Flight Keeper and FS2Crew. One idea I had was being able to record my landings and then have a custom field in FSFK point to that file. The option in FSFK is easy enough defining the path in the Custom fields set up. So the difficult part is getting the video. I can't use the default FS flight video because it crashes whenever I try to play it back. Fraps would be a good idea, but I don't want to switch to the outside view as I'm coming in for a landing. So my thought is to use WideView on a second computer, install FS9 to include all add-ins, and use Fraps on that.Does anyone use WideView? And what kind of problems would …

I fixed one problem now I have another. I found out that the mesh I've been using since 2004 started causing my flights to crash with mostly a terrain.dll error although I did get others. I had went to the website that talked about dll errors. I can't remember the site name, but it said some was caused by corrupted mesh. So I removed the USA mesh I had it in one folder and did a few flights with no crashes, even with pmdg 744 going into fsdt kjfk. I had been using this mesh as I said since 2004. I think I'll wait and get fsgenesis bundle for fs9. But now, and it has done this before, I'll be flying along usually in one of my add-on aircraft, pmdg 744, 737s, pss 752…

My fuel keeps refilling at random times during a flight, doesn't matter if I'm on the ground or not. I have FSpax installed but I'm pretty sure it's not directly causing the problem as I've tried flights without using it.

I am looking for a mokulele repaint of the default cessna caravan fs2004 or wilco caravan. Does anyone have or know of this repaint ? Thank-you

Having installed an add-on aircraft (DHC8-Q311B) I now get an 'Aircraft Initializaion Failure' message when I 'Create a Flight' and in the Cockpit View the whole screen is filled with the Panel. Only by clicking on 'select another aircraft' can I get the correct cockpit view. Also when I select an airfield from 'Selected Location' the add-on airfield I installed appears, and I cannot change it. I have deleted the aircraft and the airfield and uninstalled everything associated with FS9 and done a fresh install of FS9 only. I still get the same problems. A Search of my hard drive reveals no sign of the offending aircraft or airfield. Can anyone offer a solution? Thanks! But…

Yesterday when I tried to load this a/c I got a message saying some part of it was missing and in listed the F1ATR.gauge as the problem. I said OK to the message but it just kept reappearing. In the end I had to shut down FS. I have the same a/c in FSX and that runs OK.I have posted this in the ATR forum but no responces. If anyone has an idea what might be causing this I would be grateful.

Is anybody using the scenery of OIFM Esfahan Intl airport by Amir Parsian? There seem to be two versions kicking around - shahid_beheshti(oifm).zip on AVSIM and shahidbe.zip on flightsim.com - the latter file seems to be version 2 and about seven times the size!I have experimented with both and am experiencing the same results. What I am assuming to be trees appear as white rectangles, so I assume some textures are missing. I note that many of the included files are freely available libraries so there is pointless duplication but by name I cannot identify any tree files amongst them. Hi.I've installed FS2004 with VFR Photographic Scenery my new computer (windows 7). All is well except that the replacement water textures have been installed as well despite the 'Replacement Water Textures' box being unticked. I'm not keen on those textures and prefer the Lakes to be their natural brownish colour which I had when using FS2002 on my previous computer. Has anyone got the know-how how to deal with this?Shaun

HiSeem to be having a few problems with FS time. Looking at GMT, re:Local Times there seems to be a problem. Example: Given that EGLL will be GMT + 1 hour (Local Summer Time). If I then say, I go to EGJJ (Jersey) then what I see with the time differences is GMT + 2 hours, when infact I beleive it should be the same as EGLL. I have never seen this before.Just wondering if anyone can explain or help out.Many thanksTerry.S
