Just thought I'd let everyone know who want's to ditch that framerate hungry Simflyer's version (the worst performing scenery in the history of FS) and the freeware versions in favor of something decent. I found if you don't use Blueprint's ground texture (an option in the installer) and install everything else it looks pretty good. FSDT's version is coming out sometime in the future but I needed something in the interim until then plus it's showing support for a developer still creating for FS9. Again this scenery is pretty nice and the best option as of now for KDFW, enjoy... :(

Hi Guys,I have recently merge CLS 345 with PSS/Ed Cox panel merge... Work very well with Posky but not CLS.I have spend time on various forum, but I must admit that I did not find any instruction to fix this problem.Is somebody can send me the link or the instruction to fix the Ailerons/Elevators issue with CLS/PSS?Thanks........Aigons

Hello,"nvlddmkm has stopped responding and has successfully recovered." Just won't go away. I get it during taxi or landing whether it is a payware airport, freeware airport, or default airport. I tried every driver that nvidia released and so far nothing. I'm this close to just quit this hobby.Has anyone been able to find a solution for this problem? Or has been able to minimize the severity of this error?Your help is much appreciated.

Hi there,I'm stuck on the 'create TGA+batch' process, when I press the button I keep getting the 'out of memory' error. It's the same with or without the 'Borders' and '1 bgl' options. I'm having troubles controlling the power quadrant... whenever I select an engine (left or right) to control, it seems that only the left engine is keyboard controllable (power, prop and condition levers) before I select anything, I can control both turbines no problem, but when I select one, I can only manipulate the left one, the right one doesn't respond when I select it... and when I select back to both, the same issue happens... I can use the mouse or something, but I find that method a bit slow and inconvenient...I only have a generic flight yoke with a throttle wheel, and I don't have any cash yet to purchase a separate power quadrant... heck no one even sells one …

HiOver the past few weeks I have been having two problems with ATC on IFR flights. The most common is that I get stuck with the departure frequency for almost the entire flight - only when I am within about 80 miles of the destination do I get switched to the appropriate frequency. For example, on a flight from KLAX to KSEA I get handed over to SOCAL departure after leaving LAX and then am stuck with that controller/frequency for hundreds of miles until I am about ready to begin descent to KSEA. Is there a file or files that maybe have become corrupted? I am using an installation that I have spent hundreds of hours tweaking and putting in add-ons and am really reluctant t…

This has been going on for a while now, and it just seems like a good time to fix it. :( The smoke from prop engines, always travels to the front of the plane, regardless of the wind direction.This happens with most prop planes, addon and defaults.Have I botched a smoke.fx file?Thanks for all help. :(

Hey Guys,I need some help. While flying the lear 45 (FS9) I cannot change frequencies on Comm 1, Comm 2, Nav 1, and Nav 2. I'm just flying the default aircraft with no modifications. The transponder and ADF values change fine I just can't change any of the radio frequencies. I've tried using the mouse, and using the keyboard with no luck. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

Does anyone know if the Just Flight Professional Dash-8 is just the PSS Dash-8 re-issued or is it an improved version? The reason I ask is that their web site claims that it has "working weather radar" and a "programmable FMC" which I do not recall the original PSS version having. I used to have the PSS version and do not want to buy it if it's just the same.Also, can anyone comment on the included scenery packages? Please help In 15 years span utilizing the flight simulator I never had crash as the one I've been experiencing recently. It started a couple weeks ago on XP right before switching to windows 7. Suddenly along the flight on the airport sceneries the screen goes static, everything freezes, no keyboard, no mousse and the only way to recover my PC to work is to turn it off and back on. Hi Everyone,I had another topic several days ago when I was looking for an AI Package. I did get WOAI and installed several domestic airlines. I loaded up KSEA with traffic at 70% and not a one other than a few default AC show. The last package I had showed tons of aircraft. The traffic bgls are there but i don't understand where all the AC are. I used the installer and let it handle everything so I know the files are all there. I installed Conninential, American Southwest etc.. and they all use KSEA. Do I need to do anything else to have this airport populated? I have'nt tryed anyothers because KSEA before Was the most populated of all that I used so if it isn't showing …

Hey everyone,I was looking at Ultimate Traffic however, is there something more current for FS9, or is that the most current there is? I am also looking for a program that will automatically populate all my airports with out having to run other utilities if possible. How is world of AI? If it's freeware like WOA that's great, but I would rather pay for it if it will be the best available. I had a pretty good setup before on my old system in which someone had sent me the package they compiled, but I can't remember who that was to find the old email umong thousands of them. Can someone tell me why the POSKY air file won't work with the PSS panel? Why is it that you need the PSS air file for the autothrottle to work? Can I use POSKY aircraft.cfg with PSS air file? I have AirEd and which bits can I change to make ILS more smooth?

Quick question, I would like to activate cross runways for landingand takeoff but so far have had no luck.Here's the primary example : at KIAD (Washington Dulles), I would like to have planes landing on 19L and taking off on 30 (like in real life). Here's what I do : check "closed for takeoff" and "closed for landing" on every other runway.check "closed for landing" on 30check "closed for takeoff" on 19LI still end up with planes landing (and taking off) on 30. Help please? :(

Searching the various forums one can find lots of opinions and advice on certain parameters in the FS9 config file, dealing with texture processing. Among them TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT (TBM), TextureMaxLoad (TML) - not to be confused with TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD - and of course framerate (FPS). From various sources I understand that the sim puts these elements into a formula: TML (default is 3) multiplied by TBM (default is 80 I believe), divided by FPS (provided FPS has been locked). I just quickly visited PMDG's website to see their progress on the new 737's. However, is it just me or did PMDG drastically increase their pricing? Their 737 products are more now than they were versus when they first came out years ago.brando

I'm having a problem with the forward view in FS2004. I'm running FS on a Tripleheadtogo with 3 LCD screens for the front view and 2 other LCDs for the side views. It was working fine until recently. Every minute or so the front view will freeze even though the aircraft is still moving on the side views. I have to double-click the title bar to restore (screen is moving again) and then maximize again. A minute or so later it does the same thing. Pretty hard to make a decent landing under these circumstances. I recently upgraded to Windows 7.
