So I have spent the better part of this morning trying to figure this out. The high res texture follows me around appearing and disappearing as I move. Also, there is this box that outlines KLAS and the border between the high resolution textures and low res textures that will not load. Scenery is Bluesky Las Vegas and I am using FSDreamteam's KLAS. Any thoughts?

Hello...I was checking the 777 manual by PSS and it says: "The GPWS provides aural altitude callouts during the approach at 1000, 400, 200, 100, 50, 30, 20 and 10 feet above runway. It also generates the "MINIMUMS" callout when passing below Decision Height, and "APPROACHING MINIMUMS" 100 feet above the DH." - PSS_B777_Panel_Manual.pdfSo everything I have is the 400, 200, 100, 30, 20 and 10. Not minimums neither approaching minimums.Is there a place that I can maybe turn it on somehow or it's just bullshi*?Just to let you know, I have the SP2 installed.

While in flight if I change the weather RPMs drop and aircraft stalls.Do I have something set wrong?gdr1944

I must be one of the last dinosaurs on Earth to have retired an elderly squarish CRT and gone widescreen.I bought a nice 23" 16:9 monitor due to some professional requirements and must say I am rediscovering the virtual world.I was aware of the drawbacks of this move from the FS9 point of view, mainly the lack of widescreen panels for the 2D pilots.There always is the unaffected VC, I know, but I am rather a 2D guy (another prehistoric reptile), especially since my TrackIR4 died.There is no way back (to 4:3) for me now. Apart from other obvious advantages of having a large WS on the desk, the MSFS world looks brand new and brilliant!The virtual world got huge and wiiiiiid…

Can the Video Card memory be a bottleneck and cause OOM?What leads me to that thinking that is:1) I loose the AA a few seconds before the OOM occurs2) I notice that my OOM started (again) when I switched from 4:3 to widescreen. Hence from 1280x1024 to 1960x1024, this is 53% more load on the graphic card...3) my GTS8800 has 256Mb RAM only.of course, If have already made sure that this was not caused by duplicate AFCADs, etc...ThanksGhiom

Hi Guys, when using Traffic 2005 Traffic Explorer there is an annoying default sound every time I click on an aircraft to view. I'm sure I've read somewhere that this can be disabled but after numerous searches I can't find it anywhere! Can anyone please help?Thanks in Advance.

Is this a problem with the PSS gauge or what? When on ILS the airlerons at the tips of the wings go up and down a bit. Does this happen with all you POSKY PSS 777-200/200ER users out there?Cheers

Not being a major fan of very long range jet simming, I normally dont worry about the jumbo jets, but like everybody I had to at least take the PA A380 for a spin. What panel is everybody using? Doesnt have to be hard core because this one probably wont get flown that much since its not my preferred sim style. (looks like a great rendition though based on pictures!)Eric

Guys... I'm just saying this well in advance because something inside is telling not to ask this...I've got FS9 in Spanish, because I was living in Spain at the time I bought it. So, when the FS9.1 update came out, I installed the update in the Spanish version.But my question is... (and yes I know i's been YEARS now and a little bit too ask it now :( ) but is it possible to change the language settings from total Spanish to total English?Before anyone says it. Hello!I'm trying to improve my 777 FDE and I've got a question at table 1506: Which one is the N1 and which one is the Mach number? I mean the vertical and the horizontal:I'm trying to improve the taxi performance because now I have 94000lbs of thrust but it's not so good taxing and descending performance because if I increase the "19.000000" (which I imagine is 19% of N1) values, when I'm descending, I have more thrust in idle than at 35% of N1, for example and I want to change that specific area between 30 and 45% to compensate that first value incresement.Another question: At the line 0.400000 I notice that in many different FDE's that this value is much more smaller f…

Ever since I bought my new Windows 7 machine and reinstalled FS9 completely from scratch, I have discovered that I cannot get the Windows mouse pointer to disappear. Previously on my old XP system it would disappear after a few seconds of mouse inactivity, but I cannot get this to happen in Win 7. Any suggestions re how to remove this irritation? Thanks.

Hi guys,I played with the FSUIPC and my Saitek FYS a bit this afternoon to get it working properly with my FT Embraer 170/190. But rather than improved my FS I screwed it. Im now almost unable to control the engines and any joystick axis.What I wanted to achieve was set my Saitek FYS to be able to use reverse thrust and FLAPS on one of the axis. But now I got nothing :(Anyone could help me and tell me how to set FSUIPC becasue Im really lost :D

Hey you guys!I'm hunting for like weeks for a texture for posky's 777-200ER with GE90 and the Union Flag paint scheme and it just doesn't exist! There are some BA T7 with GE90 that someone of posky released but only with special tail schemes witch is not being used anymore and the Union Flag one is with Trent engines. Could anyone tell me where I could get it?

I don't often come up with release news.But the latest version of Aerosoft AES has been much awaited.It is out now, so go and get it! It includes some great new airports, e.g. Santiago, Bangkok, Sao Paulo, Cork or Shannon.Also airports to be soon (!) released, like: Singapore, Munich or Barcelona.New AES features are expected in the next version (yummy).

In your opion, what is the best ( Looks best visually / eyecandy) MESH for FSX. Would it be FS Global X 2010, FS Genesis or some other I dont know about?How about the best looking scenery to show off this new mesh? Thanks jerrycwo4

Well, since none of my 4 DF aircraft will work with Windows 7 64 bit, what is a good other aircraft for IFR use? I still run FS9. I need very fluid gauges, GNS 430/530 and HSI type panel would be nice. I am not at all computer literate and need something ready to download and install, ready to be up and running like the DF stuff was. I can't swap gauges, reinstall and such. Any other developers out there with similar aircraft? I use the sim primarily to help maintain real world instrument proficiency. I had the Meridian, Cherokee, Baron, and BE36. They covered all the bases and were great. I'll take any one aircraft right now. Thanks.

Hello to all!I recently found out that the Digital Aviation CRJ-700 for FS9 was turned into a FSX only product when Aerosoft took over the project. Does anyone have any idea if there may be a new FS9 Crj Series on the horizon? How does ATC determine which aircraft takeoff first?I created a new taxiway with obviously a holding point node inserted at the holding point position of the runway (rwy03). Opposite is another holding point for aircraft taxying from the other side of the airport, an original.Yet any aircraft departing from the taxiway and holding point that i created wait for all the aircraft from the opposite side to depart before they can depart, which includes the aircraft that i fly, no matter whether they have got their first or not.At the opposite end of the runway (rwy21), the opposite opposing holding points which are originals, aircraft depart based on the sequence that they arr…

I haven't flown at KEWR in a while and decided to fly out of there. When the flight started, all I saw was jagged lines. They disappeared when I slewed off the scenery. Anyone have a similar experience or know what the issue is? It didn't matter which plane I used, the same thing occurred. Anyone know if this is related to Window XP SP3? I recently tried to install it but it failed so it rolled back. If I stay in KEWR too long, FS9 crashes with a Util.dll error.Thanks,Eric

Everytime I left click with the mouse it zooms in on the panel. And if i right click it zooms out sometimes?How do I change this? This wasn't happening before.Much help appreciated. Already reinstalled it.

Hi guys,I have one question I`ve installed XP again but I have problem with my FS2004..When I want trim set to aircraft TRIM is beats 2-4-6 with double number.. I want normal trim setting starting 1-2-3-4 not 2-4-6-8 with Coefficient :/who can help me? thanks

I know this subject has been discussed in the past and I have avoided installing Adobe Air in the computer I use for slimming. However Firefox and other apps are constantly telling me to update and I was wondering if the original problems that occured with Adobe Air are still valid or is it deemed safe to now go ahead with the install.
