What causes this problem (see picture)? (I'll do my best to discribe the problem) As I approach the runway to land I notice the runway surface starts to change as if something is surrounding my aircraft. As I land, I notice the runway immediately around my aircraft is either turning slightly darker or lighter. When I exit the runway, the markings on the exit ramp are erased by this problem and reappears once I pass through. When I enter the parking area, everything is fine again. However, if I start from this airport there's no problems with the taxiway or runway textures. It only happens when I land.I'm having this problem with PHNL from FSDT. I'm pretty sure it'…

Does anyone have any of these aircraft operating as AI in fs9?I don't even know if there is a model of the dreamlifter, and while I have a good model for the Mirya, I'm dissapointed at the flight plans I have found.any suggestions?thanks

Whilst I appreciate the new traffic plans uploaded from Globus World I have just compiled Air Berlin v 2 and there are several airports that they have omitted from the airport file which need to be added in manually before traffic tools will compile.I appreciate the afforts of groups to publish AI traffic plans and I think particularly of AIG and WOAI and of course the pioneering work of PAI. However I wonder what quality control is in place when there are errors which surely would be known before the plan is uploaded to this site?I would welcome feedback from Globus members as there doesnt appear to be a forum on their site.ThnxJohn

On the 777-200 (not ER) does it really not go down with the flaps? As this is what it says in the readme if you download the " XMLguage) Low speed Aileron Control for 777-200ER/LR and -300's" (POSKY website > downloads > 777-200 > models page 2 or something). It also says the 777-200ER, 777-300 and 777-300ERs low speed Ailerons do go down with flaps.Is this true? Should I use the update?

Hi all after the news about the release of wsss they also posted on what they want too work on next that airport is VIDP New Delhi India Gandhi. which definitely deserves to made in fs big problem is they need all the info they can get so if you know someone or have info photos please contact them. I guess there is a possibly it wont get made if they don't have enough info for the airport. hopefully they can get it and we can finally have a nice VIDP! I can not get the Comm & Nav radios to light off in this aircraft. Looking at the electrical panel, I may have a blown fuse. I'm running Windows 7 Pro64 and the configuration program has never completely worked under my OS so I'm hoping thank the solution does not involve that portion of the software. All on aircraft functions were working until about a week ago. I have removed and re-install the software package twice, but the problem remains. I have contacted there technical support team, but Digital Aviation was sold to Aerosoft and by the reply that I received from their team I am not certain of their detailed working knowledge of the software package.Thanks …

Just thought I'd let everyone know this little bit of info I found glancing at their site tonight hoping for a surprise release of the F33A for FS9. The 185F Bush is outstanding so if anytime was a good time to buy this bird now would be it. If nothing else we all could leave a few emails showing our support for an FS9 version of the F33A. :(

I've always been dissatisfied with the lack of true ambient "structural" sounds while taxiing and rolling down the runway in FS9. Normally you'd hear creaks and cracks from the aircraft's cabinetry, panels and even the door to the cockpit, but in FS9 it sounds like your taxiing in a plane made all in one piece. Does anyone have any idea of the easiest way this might be added to our flight sim experience? I've downloaded several sound packs, and some have this effect and some don't, but those that do are generally aircraft specific and are meant to be used with all of the other sounds that come in the package. Hello all. Whenever I add more than one repaint to my POSKY 757, FS2004 will display the first one, but all subsequent repaints, the preview box becomes black and it won't display it. Anyone else had this problem or any advice to solve it?Thanks,Joe

Hi,I'm a long time user of both AS6.5 and ASE.Since ASE gave me a lot of issues since it was released more than 18 months ago, recently I moved back to AS6.5.Unfortunately AS6.5 also has some issues now: the METAR cycles are not in sync with real world (anymore?)I guess it's time to look for an alternative, if any...I do have REX.Is anyone using REX WX application? Or is there an other good alternative?

Hi all...I want to free up as much as my PC resources to flying and outside scenery. I have planes which look great on the outside but I'm sure they take up resources. is there a way to 'tone down' plane liveries which can help free up some PC resources for better flying ?Many thanks...JB

Friends, I am toying with purchasing some software (which isnt cheap) that is used it creating multimedia screensavers etc. As part of the testing of this product, I have created a FS based screensaver that has a professional installer and features screen shots I have made and saved from Flight sim over the years. Hi everyone. Sigh!! How should i start. Recently, i've been flying the PMDG 737 perfectly without any errors and now i am now (dont know why). It started where i do any normal flight for e.g YYZ-BGI and land and when i try to do the return trip i get this damn GDI+ thing. The thing is it ONLY happens when I go into the fs9 menu to change the aircraft flight number for the return leg. I also get this error too, not at the time with gdi+ but when i exit fs9 (just thought you all should know that) [ The instruction at "0x04a7632e" references memory at "0x20d13930"]. Tonight I went ahead and tried to install Hellas Scenery Project (HSP) base scenery installed that covers all of Greece. (Here is the link for the scenery http://www.avsim.com/greece/scenery/index_main.htm)After I downloaded it I moved the "TEMP FOLDER HSP Greece BASE scenery" folder to my main FS9 folder. I then copied the "HSP_BASEV2_INSTALL BAT" file to my main FS9 folder and ran it. After it ran I looked in my sim and saw the coastlines were all square and some airports were not displaying correct. Can the scenery.cfg file be deleted, like the FS9.cfg, and be automatically re-read and restored. I was removing a couple of pieces of add-on scenery built for the Misty And Tongass Fjords software and "things" happened. Looking at the scenery.cfg file, I have double entries and mismatch files and priorities. I may end up just re-installing FS9, but I,m looking for options.ThanksTom

The nightmare has returned...After a few years free from out of memory errors I've recently had them come back in spades. But despite all the experience I gained battling the first series of OOM errors I am unable to rid myself of them this time. Just like last time, they SEEM to correspond to some Aerosoft Mega Airport installation, but that may only be coincidental. is wideview software similar to widefs. i need to move my panels to a 2nd computer, i already own widefs, but somebody on this forum suggested wideview. does widefs do a similar job?

Hello,I have recently been playing round with the Wilco Airbus Volume 1 aircraft cfgs for the entire A320 family, trying to get performence as close as possible to the tables I have for the various varients, such as climb performance. To do this I have been ajusting the static_thrust and thrust_scalar values.What I have noticed is that, while I can get the aircraft performance accurate for most stages of flight, it doesn't go hand in hand with the takeoff performance. As an example, the takeoff roll and initial climb out while cleaning up the aircraft may be fine, but then the rest of the climb performance up to cruise altitude is too quick. I was flying my PMDG 737-700 Alaska livery today from KSEA to Sitka. I noticed another aircraft referring to having my aircraft in sight using the term 'Experimental' versus the usual 'Boeing' moniker. I checking my aircraft.cfg file for any discrepancies and found none. My question to anyone who knows, what setting determines what ATC will classify an aircraft as? Something somewhere must have gotten changed and it's not in the aircraft.cfg file. I'd like to know this in general for future reference. Thanks in advance to anyone who knows the answer to this.

HelloCan anyone tell me how to get this program to run please? Every time I click on the icon it gives me this message: It looks like you are running a very old version of blah blah blah go to our site and download the latest version. And then if you try that you get to run around in ever decreasing circles until you vanish up your own ----- well I guess you know what I mean lol.
