Hi,I'm trying to use ENBSeries - that light bloom effect - in FS9 but am getting terrible aliasing. Everything, from runway lines to user aircraft to AI aircraft to buildings, is all jagged. GPU's an 8800GTS, 320MB (no laughing!). Is this something that can be arranged by changing settings in the .ini file, or is it a known issue, or lost cause?Thanks,Nicolas

Hi Guys, I have noticed when I come in to land the runway VASI / PAPI lights either stay full White or if I'm too low Full Red. They never show 2 red and 2 white so that I know i'm on the right glide slope.I have tested it out at all different Heights / Glide slopes and they are either one or the other.Am I doing something wrong or do I have some sort of glitch?cheersUly

Are those numbers supposed to be the same?

Hi there, I have downloaded PMDG 747 , Fs9 version from PMDG and when I install it , I am getting screen blackouts after a couple of seconds. Googling this error, most say that there is a validation error. Can someone please advise me on this issue. I am using Windows XP home and FS9 flight simulatorThank you

Well, its beyond me whats going on here....It was working 3 days ago, it always has worked. but...For the last 2 days i have been clicking the weather tab, selecting "real world weather updated every 15 mins" when i hit ok i get;"An error occurred while downloading Real World Weather. Hey guys, Maybe someone can help me with this. I absolutely love flying the PMDG 747's but sometimes when I set up my FMC it tells me that I won't make it because of not enough fuel. I use FSBUILD to make my routes and if I use the PSS777 or PSS757 it's ok. The route is completely fine. It's just when I load it up with the PMDG, even on some it says 6,000nm to the next waypoint when it's actually only like 132nm..HELP? Please?Thank you!

I've made a large airbase 'Keevil' (in north Wiltshire) with a scenery bgl 'Keevil_TW.bgl' which I opened with Instant Scenery. I clicked Move/delete but the object wasn't recognised in the usual way (red box, etc) so I can only conclude that Keevil_TW.bgl isn't the scenery file I added these objects to.I did this (added objects to the wrong airfield scenery bgl) when I first stared this malarky months ago & in answer to a question I posted somewhere about finding the proper scenery bgl, someone told me about a bgl recognition utility that identifies the object bgl & the scenery bgl its been added to. Hello mates,I've been working on my 777 FDE in the past days and there's this problem that I can't find and fix. During the final approach on the ILS, the aircraft keeps banking from one side to another. It's not hard enough to take the aircraft out of the approach but still something that shoud not be there. Do you guys know what part of the AirEd is related with that area? What tables I can tweak?Thanks a lot.

Hi all,I currently use ActiveSky 6.5 for my real word weather but have the problem that I do not know what weather to expect during flight. I have seen ASE offers weather maps although i am not sure if they are available during flight. I also fly using the VC rather than the 2D panel view.It would be useful to be able to view an updating weather map to avoid storms and bad weather etc... i have seen that Captain Sim do a weather gauge but it only works in 2D cabins views.Can anyone suggest an add-on for checking the weather situation in FS2004?

Hi all, I've been hunting high and low for an S-TEC, round, System Thirty or System Twenty autopilot gauge for my GA aircraft.In particular, I'm creating a photo real panel and paint job for a pilot friend of mine for his Beech Bonanza which he has so kindly alowed me to photograph extensively for this project.This will be for Mike Stone's Beech Bonanza and I'm almost finished the project. HelloSeems like I-Fly are following up their 747 with a 737 NGfeaturing icing mode and advanced failures.

I am having a real problem with the sound in FS9. I cannot hear the ATC when they speak and sometimes cannot hear other planes as they speak. I have put in a new sound card, it works with FSX and other programs that require sound and I am stumped as to why the ATC will not work in FS9, are any of us out there familiar with this problem and how can I fix it? Any suggestions please post soon as I live to fly both FS9 and FSX. Please give me some feedback as it is driving me nuts not being able to use, correctly my FS9 Sim. Thanks so much for all the suggestions and help, ahead of time. :(

I installed the Wilco A380 for FS9 from the CD-ROM. However, I cannot find the configurator for loads, keys, etc. It is not in the shortcut menu (where I have it for the other Wilco Airbusses).Where can I find that? The program must sit somewhere, if I found it I could set up a shortcut.Or didn't it install automatically? Can I manually install it from the installation CD-ROM?Thanks

Looking to discover the cause of my FS woes I have come up with that old chestnut - the location of Landclass files.As I understood it, LC files should be in a separate Scenery folder with no accompanying Texture folder.I have been using a tool called FlightSimManager by Rana Hossein to look for rogue files and stuff, and it shows a number of files it considers to be Landclass even though they might have different names, like "Photo" or "Low" or "Ground" for example - but all ending .bgl.I know that in a number of my payware sceneries, files that FSManager considers Landclass are bundled in together with other scenery .bgls. Hi, most of my flying is done between Ireland and the UK, making Cork one of my premier destinations. I've always used the ISFD Irish scenery, one peculiarity of which seems to be that both Cork (EICK) and Knock (EICN) are elevated on a rather large plateau, neither of which is true in real life. See screen-shot.Is there a way to flatten these? I'm using a variety of add-on .bgl files (mesh, landclass, I'm not sure...) but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference!

I have the WX500 weather radar 5.2 and the PMDG 737-700 V1.3. I am trying to merge them, but when I load the selected aircraft it crashes to desktop. I've looked in all forums for help, but nothing worked for me. My NDWX. ini file is in my FS9 Root folder and the NDWX. gau is in the gauge folder. In the General Section of the .ini it has. As the title suggest, I have a problem at Rome. Fiumicino, which I have installed in ISD's Version and Ciampino, which I use in Lago's Rome Version are gone. Or not so much gone but rather invisble except for the groundlayout. Something is surpressing the buildings. I do remember that it probably had to do with a bad exclude file from another scenery, but I didn't find any clues among the old topics. And my scenery list is quite long, so I don't know where to start looking.So if anyone knows which scenery is responsible for this glitch, I'd much appreciate some help.

Hi,I use FS2004 and have spent a small fortune on add-ons so have always been reluctant to move up to FSX unless it blew me away.I currently have a dual-core 3.33ghz machine running XP with 4GB ram and a nVidia GT250 and get about 40-50 fps for most things, occasionally dropping to 15-20fps. When I bought the machine the only quad core PCs ran at very low speeds so a dual core was more than enough for games like fs2004.I was recently given a copy of FSX and installed it on my PC and although had it running its most basic mode, I was not that taken with it. The cockpit did not zoom out far enough on my TH2G and the whole movement in the air felt sluggish compared to FS2004…

Hi all,I have a strange problem. Since yesterday suddenly all transparent buidings in each scenery have disappeared.I give you here the example of Brussels where the right terminal which is transparent has disappeared whereas the left one which is not remains visible. After a long hiatus I reinstalled AC using all the correct files and procedures. From a clean install I go to the VC and when I turn, the screen moves smoothly. But if I click on any change in the setup menu, when I go back to the VC I get a jumping display.The smoothness is gone. If I invoke anything from the keyboard, such as the magnetic compass,<shft+5> for instance, the jumping display in VC mode goes away and the disply is smooth again. I also tried various values for mximum frame rate and that didn't help. Comments, please.

Hi all,Just bought a new i7 CPU with win7 home premium.As I have a very large collection of scenery both payware and free, not to mention aircraft. I am reluctant to run FSX, but installed FS9.A mate and I have spent all the weekend installing scenery, and have made use of the " Right click in the blank area" fix with some success.But,now we have a problem. Somehow on looking at the scenery library, there are duplicate entry's for the " Fly Tampa" scenery's. Using the "delete Area" button does'nt do anything.On reboot, all is, as before. Manually editing the scenery.cfg or the Newscenery.cfg will not fix it either.Help needed.Regards JohnT

Hi everybodyI downloaded the above airport (already paid for it when I bought their KORD yesterday), but I couldn't install it as it said it wasn't a x64 application (I'm using Win 7 x64). I hoping my download was corrupt for another reason, so whilst I wait for it to download again and also for my registration for their forums to be accepted, I'll ask the obvious question. Has anyone got this to install on a x64 system? I'd be suprised if such a high profile addon maker hadn't updated their installer to work on an x64 system.
