Is there a way (app. or program) that can check the scenery texture files both default and add-on for corrupt or missing textures? I am having an ongoing issue that I think is related to a bad texture but I know of no way to find out if I am right. Thanks in advance.

My last two flights have resulted in a freeze up and then a crash to desktop. I can go into the logs for the applications and see the error in the FS9.exe file, but I was wondering if there is anyway to narrow down what went wrong? I have had smooth flights for a while and I realize i can start taking "extra" things off one at a time to see if one particular application that I added on is causing it, but I haven't added anything on in a while. Thoughts?Is it better to always hard boot before starting FS9 to make sure everything is "clean"?Thanks.John

I have long been wanting a small twin-engined prop, and so far the Carenado Seneca and DA Cheyenne seem to be the best fit to my taste. Carenado now has a sale, which gives 30% off all the FS2004 products, so here's what I have to choose; get the Seneca or the Cheyenne? Some things for thought:- The Seneca will only give the FS9 version, not the FSX. The Cheynne will leave me with both and thus is a cheaper.- The DA seems to be fully functional, system wise. How functional are the systems on the Seneca?Please recommend one of the planes (Only gonna get one of them right now, need to know which one is best), but a comparison of the two is of course also most welcome.

HiI am looking for a re-painter willing to do me a favour.I am wondering if anyone who can paint is willing to create me a livery for the Alphasim typhoon (the payware one, not the one released as freeware) in Razgriz colours...Paintkit is on their website i think, if not i might have it when i purchased the aircraft. Logos and pictures of the Razgriz typhoon are available all over the web. I have been puzzled for a while about this. In FSX I will occasionally get 100+FPS but my FS9 maxes out at 60 FPS. Never goes higher. I am sure it can.Anybody have any idea how this can be changed ?Vista Business 64-bit...Thanks

I want to connect my aerosoft australia MCP to FS2004, I am looking for the software file or driver file that will do this. Unfortunately Aerosoft australia has gone out of business. Does anyone have an old copy of the software or a liknk to one?

I only acquired FSX about a month ago. I have lots and lot of FS2004 software and thru the years remember ( I think) that about 40-50 % of the software support both. The other day I downloaded a great FSX scenery of Kauai Hawaii by Richard Sorochak. It was beautiful and had the best frame rates of any other FSX scenery I had. I was wondering if he might have made other sceneries so I typed "Richard Sorochak" in the search space and up came a scenery named, Nihau Hawaii and no others....not even the Kauai Hawaii that I had downloaded a few days ago. hi there,I have EVAI, WOAI etc installed on my fs2004 and when I go to an airport the, AI Aircraft taxi about 5 ft above me in the air. Is there anyway of sorting this wierd problem out, thanks, planenutter

Can anyone tell me when these two files are invoked by FS9? I've found a great replacement groundroll.wav file by Peter James here in the library and I would like to use it with all my aircraft, and I though I would just rename Mr. James' file BNROLL.WAV and make a copy of it and name it BNROLL2.WAV but, of course, I don't want to screw anything up. Hi folks, I've just discovered this aircraft, and it's really a treasure (esp since it's repainted in my national flag carrier's livery :) ). However, I need some advice with regards to tuning the left of decimal numbers for the comm frequencies. I've tried different locations, but I can only seem to adjust the right of decimal numbers. Can someone please assist with this issue. (BTW, I've downloaded all the updates). The nav frequencies can be adjusted just fine with no issues.Thanks in advance.J.C. (MYNN)

I recently made two attempts to install UTE in fs9 but kept getting a different invalid data error code (21FC & 11FD) each time. The first time I used my original download version (error code 11FD). The second attempt (error code 21FC) was a fresh download from Flight1's website. Here's what I did to solve my problem. A second fresh install of fs9 (with fs9.1 patch) . I had no problems installing it using my original 6 months old download version. The problem had nothing to do with bad memory or having over 4g of memory. I believe it had to do with other scenery which I had previously installed in that area of the world. Maybe, UTE needs to find and rename certain bgl…

I'm trying to decide which model to merge with the PSS panel for the A32X. Any suggestions. For the 321, I'll use overland because there isn't a pairbus 321 out, but for the 320 and 319 I'm trying to decide.From the sim point of view, the overland models have the advantage of having VC's.I'm no airbus expert, so I'd appreciate some feedback about the quality of the exterior model- which in your opinion is better and more realistic?thanks

-I was running 2 hard drives and had my flight sims on the D drive. -The D drive kept crashing so it's being sent back. -I tried to reinstall FS 9 on the C drive, and it loads Ok. But when I hit FlyNow the program crashes. Any ideas??TIA,Steve

I have the coolsky and I'm satisfied with that, but If the cls vc is as good as the cls B747 and B767 done by model designer Jacob Kubique then I'm definitely buying it most likely will be a lite product which is not bad at all since we have 2 great md-80 packages out there but there complex ones.

Hello all,I just installed a load of World of AI packages, about 20 or so major airlines. Before I fire up my sim, I tough that maybe some updated AFCADs with more parking and the correct codes would be nice. Does anyone know of any AFCAD packages for all the major US airports or anything similar? Even just a few AFCADs would be nice.
