My game comp is not hooked up to the 'net, so no real weather DLs are possible for me. If I set up a custom weather / cloud scenerio, is there a way to save it for later use? Or would I simply save the flight and therefore get the clouds next time?Did a quick search for this, but didn't see anything; so thanks!

I'm trying to obtain the eastern metro express paint/texture scheme for the Dreamwings Dash 8 Q100. I understand Peter Liddell did the scheme;however I can't download this texture, from His Virtual Eastern website. I have the Dreamwings Dash 8 Q100/200, and it's a great plane to fly. If anyone has that texture (Eastern Metro express), for the Dreamwings Dash 8 Q100, I would appreciate it if you can either upload it to the Avsim files, or email it to me at [email protected]. Only the texture file is needed, not the aircraft file. Any suggestions, recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.AeroEngr

After extensive testing (around more than 30 merge combinations) which took around more than 12-15 hours (takeoff, ILS circuit, same heading same airspeed, same FMC inputs for most of the merges, same amount of fuel for most of the merges etc) I have found a merge that can work with a fairly smooth LOC interception and good ILS and also fairly good fuel flow.Get the POSKY aircraft and install itFirst of all for the panel.1)Rename the POSKY Panel folder to "POSKY Panel" or back it up. Ok, when i am on FS2004 and when i am at CYYZ and i was taxiing or landing and taxiing or while i am at CYYZ, then what happened is my Video Card stopped working and it recovered, but it still stops working again while I'm at CYYZ. But it does not do that to me at any other airports.My FS2004 version is 9.1And my video card is a ATI 2040XT HDI do not have anything downloaded or add-on secnerys in my FS2004.I did a reinstall of Fs2004Tried a add-on secenery but still does that problemAlso i took the aircraft up in the air and circling around CYYZ and it's not affecting me. But on ground, my video card dies every 2 to 3 mins. and recovers it. Weird Any solutions for this?

Hi all!!Im struggling with my FS9 trying to get a T7 up and running... no luck yet..I have a PSS and a POSKY 777.Both are giving me this problem. Gauges are displaying partial information (see screeny).This is happening in 2d and VC panels.Weired???Any clues?I have FS9 in a Win7 32bit notebook. Gave also FSX installed. Dan

Hi, a sudden problem occurs with my CH Yoke and pedals: looking at the controls in the VC, braking with the left brake (differential) causes the yoke to turn completely to the right, relieving the brake causes the yoke to turn to the left. The right brake functions normally. I tried recalibrating via Windows (XP) and FSUIPC without succes. After that I installed the CH control manager to calibrate with this device. This repaired the strange brake side effect, but caused another problem: using the proplever is causing a rudder movement and using the mixturelever, moves the prop-lever. So, a complete axis-mess. Did anyone had an experience like that and how could I solve it…

I've been itching for some time to get a decent MD-80 add-on for quite some type but never got around to purchasing one. Unfortunately, Mad Dog 2008 is no longer being sold and I don't know if my system will handle Mad Dog 2010.I'm running FS2004, otherwise I'd also consider the Super 80 Pro (the FS2004 version looks like it might not be as good).I've got a P4 1.6 Ghz, 4 GB of RAM, and a Radeon 9000 onboard graphics card (running WinXP SP3). For reference, the PMDG MD-11 runs smooth as silk for me (I'm ok with frame rates in the 20 range).Will the Leonardo Mad Dog 2010 bring my system to a crawl?

Is it safe to delete default planes? I know not to touch the default Cessna 172 but what about the others? I never use them and are just taking up hard drive space.

HiIve read that the Autogen.xml was fault with FS9.0, but not with 9.1ive just updated my fs to 9.1, and im wondering...How do i enable it again? ive ran a google search and nothing...Liam

Everytime ive tried updating my sim to FS9.1 with the update from Microsoft it fails to install, i have no idea if my sim is 9.1 already, but i doubt it as i purchased this sim back when it was released.I cant remember exactly what the message was, ill post back with it after this flight, Fengz shots on the screenshot forum talking about barns etc etc reminded me about it... lolWhen i did try updating it, i did it with nothing installed apart from FS, no addons at all, i also got the same error with addons installed. Need some help troubleshooting. The past few flights I have made into KATL (Imaginesim) on about a 5 mile final I get the dreaded OOM meeting in FS9. This is while running Activesky, Imaginesims KATL and on VATSIM. When this happened last year, I refreshed my page file and that resolved the issue. I'm thinking it's an Imaginesim issue, because no other airport will it do that. I'm running an E8400 stock, 4 gigs of DDR3 memory, ATI 3850HD and FS is on a seperate drive. Could KATL have a memory leak?

Hi All. I had the Columbia 400 for a long time, I really love this aircraft and now I want to Buy the Turbo Version. But I am also very pleased with the Mindstar G1000. I recently tried to merge the panel into the C400 wich I did somehow succesfully.(No VC and Speed Bugs are still the ones from the 182) I tried to use the configuration manager wich is included in the panel, but no luck yet. Can someone here if tell me how to do this. Thanks in advance.

I've just been trying out some flights around Greece and just noticed the problems in the attached image.Image 1 is at LGKF. There seems to be a mesh / scenery problem at the end of the runway plus there are these odd "fringes" around the coast line - but around Corfu, for example, the coastline is perfect.Image 2 is between Athens and Corinth - you can see the same sort of fringing effect there.Image 3 shows Santorini with a similar problem.I've got the latest version of the HSP scenery installed and most of the GAP stuff too. I have left out LGAV.Any suggestions as to how to cure this would be welcomed.Thanks

I am running Capt Sim C130 with Vista and FSX. I am using CM Throttle Quadrant. I cannot get the throttles to the full take off position. I now it is in low speed idle but what am I missing to get it out for take-off and climb?

After several years of non-stop flight simming with FS9, I decided recently to break out another old friend. MS Train Simulator. I have dual interests in heavy iron of all kinds... I am amazed that MSTS still has a vibrant community and an active payware and freeware development community. That sim is 10 years old!So heres a little video of what I have been up to lately.
